Silvio loved the Summer season. The sun is out, the crops are bountiful, the flowers are out to play, and that balmy breeze that rustled through the leaves of the forest trees and the strands of his luscious curls. He breathed it in with a smile as he was walking towards the beach, a hint of saltiness lingered in its scent.
The child of Demeter had a basket of fruits and vegetables in the hold of his arms. In the heat of Summer, oranges, watermelons, and mint leaves were in high demand, and as he could speed up the growth of plant produce he would aid in producing all the supplies needed. He had spent the entire morning growing and gathering the fruits and leaves. Though there was not a single dirt on him, he still sweated from all the work and the sun.
Once he arrived at the bar, the bartender smiled. He greeted and thanked Silvio, while taking the huge basket off of his arms. Silvio sat on one of the cushioned chairs, and let out a breath of exhaustion and also satisfaction. Those fruits were not light. He took a white cloth that dangled over his shoulder and wiped the sweat from his face and neck. The bartender presented to him with a cool glass of iced water. “Thanks,” Silvio beamed, exhaustion could be heard in his low voice. He took the glass and drank the iced water down, almost gulping its entire content, he finished the water instantaneously.
