  1. It was a cool and breezy morning. The sun cast a golden light over the trees and bushes, illuminating everything in its wake. Birds chirped and tweeting, squirrels chattered in their trees. The birds reminded Elijah of the way he used to chase after them when he was a child. He would happily run after the them and try to catch them in his hands. His mother always laughed when he watched one fly away a short distance only to reappear a few feet away from her son. Despite his best efforts, he was never able to catch any of the birds. There are more things in heaven and earth than are dreamt of in your philosophy. Elijah sometimes wished he could teach his mother how to use the bow but she did not share his interest in archery but instead in musical gifts bestowed by his father. In the distance, he heard the sound of wood hitting the ground followed by the dull thud of an arrow hitting its target which had forced him out of his daydream.

"There we go!" Elijah subbed for Chiron in an archery class. He was teaching them how to properly draw the bowstring, hold the arrow, and release the string when they wanted to shoot. He hoped that they would be able to make a bullseye when they shot their arrows at the target at the end of the field. As he spoke, a group of campers gathered around him to listen attentively. They nodded their heads in agreement with what he said and made notes on their pads of paper. At the end of the lesson, the students took their bows and arrows with them and returned their gear to the shed but some stayed behind to practice. As for him, he wanted some time alone and chose that to practice shooting in the woods.

Elijah strolled to the woods where he was planning to practice that afternoon. He found a nice spot next to a small pond and sat down to relax to wait for the birds to fly by so he could think about his first kill of the day. As he leaned back against the trunk of a tree, an unmistakeable sound of a twig snapping interrupted his thoughts. His eyebrows furrowed as he clenched his fist. A monster could be approaching him already? How could be miss that? @ Akemi Lancaster

  2. Elijah can be found in his father's cabin alone with a singing voice. There was no music playing on the speakers so It wasn't loud enough for anyone outside to hear but if someone were to enter, they'd hear strums from his acoustic guitar. Typically, a child of Apollo favors an instrument and you'd find them with the same instrument most of the time. This guitar is Elijah's, a gift given to him by his mother on his fifteenth birthday.  A cursive carving of his name can be found on the back of the arm which he could tell was done with an experienced touch. It was one by a certain Athena child who was more than happy to help. Envisioning music notes floating around the cabin interior, a quirky side smile sprouted from his lips as he gingerly caressed the cherry wood material, playing her every so elegantly. His hands strum and pull on the guitar's strings, then his voice began to accompany the music.

This song has a special place in his heart as it was composed by him the first month he arrived in camp. He and his mother sang it together when he was away for the occasion and since then, it left an imprint on his soul. He could remember all the times his mother was training him to get out of his comfort zone. Perhaps this might be an outlier, but Elijah was a reserved child and his mother wanted to give him a little push in the best way she knows how: singing. It wasn't just for entertainment or pleasing the audience but a form of artistic expression. Elijah began to reminiscence his journey before he arrived... from taking vocal and dancing lessons, song writing, and even combat training with Sam. Yeah... Sam. He never imagined that his mother's manager is a satyr but it was a secret kept within the three of them. He became a good friend.

Elijah finished reminiscing when his mouth went into a close and a sigh followed after. He had some extra time before giving archery lessons later so he decided to head to the archery field in advance so he could give the bows and arrows a quick and minor inspection just to make sure the equipment is ready for use. Leaving the seemingly gold exterior cabin, he made his way towards the range when a child with rainbow hair seemed to be working on one of the flower beds. It was a joint effort between the Demeter and Iris Cabin which made camp a lot more aesthetically pleasing to look at. The young man was more drawn to her hair and he was curious to find out more. The feeling drove his body near her followed by a cordial "Hey! These flowers are just lovely to look at, aren't they?" Quickly glancing over to her hand, he asked. "What 'cha got there?

  3. It just occurred to him that to the outside observer, he and Rebecca could be a couple. The thought made him chuckle - even friends and siblings can have a picnic at the beach. Two children of Apollo hanging out under the sun and getting acquainted with each other? There is no better setting to welcome the youngest member of the cabin yet. "Indeed they are." The dryads have been in camp for who knows what and are considered to be forest spirits that help out the camp in certain ways - most famously to prepare food for hungry campers. Elijah was sitting cross legged, gazing into the waves crashing onto the shore. He didn't want to start eating yet out of etiquette until Rebecca had gotten the first bite. "That's a trick question. I like a lot of food." A giggle parted his soft lips. "Right now, it would have to be sushi. My goal is to I want to try all kinds sushi with a variety of the raw seafood they put. Tuna, salmon, albacore. They're a little pricy but I do believe certain places are worth the time. What about you? What's your favorite food?"

  4. Elijah was confident he was going to make this next shot. As a child of Apollo, why would not he be? The boy continued to sprint as the myrmeke chased him down the forest. A more tight grip held his bow, hoping for the spray to not make to to him. Finally drawing his arrow, he turned around in a swift motion to aim his weapon back to the creature. He clenched his teeth as he let go of the bow string. "Take this!" He exclaimed as the arrow was shot through the air. The creature pressed on, unaware of how fast it was going until the arrow pierced the arrow that was shot earlier. It split the wood, causing the wound to open wider with another arrow. A loud chirping can be heard from it from the pain but Elijah took this chance to shoot another arrow at the same spot. If there is no weak point, why not create one? It is what he had in mind moments before as he distanced himself.

And soon enough, the myrmeke began to vanish as it drew its last breath. A wave of relief washed over him, only to remember that the others could still be battling them. He began sprinting once more, hoping more that they are still alive than the creatures dead.

  5. Elijah had always saw Willow as a sister he never had. He was born without one so she would be the closest to being family other than his mother. She was the one who got him to sing along in the camp fire tradition. It did well to distract his thoughts from the events that he had experienced as he, like any other child of Apollo, liked to sing. You can say that he has a lot of siblings because their father has prolific tendencies but none have been a better sibling other than her. "You did pull it off though. As expected of my big sister. And a child of Apollo." He gave her an amused grin. "You know Ash. Planning... isn't really her thing. She's all about spontaneity. And since she saw you, she thought it was a good idea to change the pace and have you perform. This place doesn't only have Dionysus musicians." And anyone could be if they put enough dedication and effort through passion.

"The next time Ash throws another party at the cabin, why don't we pressure our half-siblings to perform? You know- Give 'em a push. I'm sure they would be inclined. Okay you probably won't do it, but I will. Take turns in performing, ya know."

Elijah continued to sing the song in parts and seamlessly joins her in the chorus. Spending time with her felt nice. The party was quite something so he sought to play a more 'slower' song but this one he would not play in a concert, especially if you're put on the spot. Once they finished the song, a moment of silence filled the room. He wanted to let it flow before he could speak just so he could absorb every bit of sound coming from their voice and his guitar.

"Since you're here, instead of composing a song which I had planned on doing, maybe we could do a cover? Your pick. Could use the time to warm up our vocals."

  6. "Hmm. Well, you are a wonderful singer sis. I enjoyed your performance- everyone who went did. Even this Killian person." Elijah did not know about him other than the rumors that involve around the man which mostly talked about how much of a philanderer he is. It set a bad impression onto her half-brother so the thought about him flirting with her would start to leave a bad taste. Either way, he needed to have a chat with this man sooner or later - which brought him to think back on that female face. After the concert, the two of them had talked and he could tell she was interested in him but he would not consider himself to be ready for a relationship just yet so he could somewhat relate to his half-sister. "How did you feel performing though? I think the Dionysus Cabin stage needed a touch of Willow."

Once the two of them finished the chorus, she made way for him to sing his verse.

Sometimes you know exactly what to say
Then you open your mouth and the words go away
Don't want you to wonder or to doubt or guess
So let me tell you clearly what I'm tryna express
It's just three little words, yeah, it's not a big deal
It's not like I can help feelin' all that I feel
And by now, I'm sure you're thinking it's so obvious
But just in case it's not, what I'm sayin' is this, what I'm sayin' is this

  7. It was not the first time Elijah set up a picnic for a new camper but he did it for anyone that has a special place in his heart. That would mean most of the Apollo children and some friends of his but only a select few get a picnic as their tastes would be different. For Rebecca, he thought it was a good idea to enjoy the beach while basking in the sun while enjoying food that he had put together himself while the decor came from his setup techs. Listening to the waves as they continue to crash into shore, the sounds where land meets sea is music to his ears. It was nice to have seagulls be far far away from him as they are screaming kleptomaniacs but he did have A Hecate child cast a charm to rid of pests and birds that attempt to get near the picnic site.

"They are. I asked the dryads to borrow them for a couple hours because there's no way we are not having these in our picnic." He chucked. "Like drinking your favorite beverage as soon as you think of it? Might as well add magic to this setup. Help yourself, Becca. Everything is ours to take.

  8. The myrmeke continued to gait towards the boy as he let loose of the bow string. The arrow shot through the air, piercing the head but it did no good. The monster let out a loud chitter. It did not seem like it is going to back down but more like it grew mad. Elijah ran away from it as the chase continues. He did not want it's poison spray to even get near, saving himself a trip to the infirmary. Grabbing two more arrows from his quiver, he readied his bow for another attack - this time was his attempt at shooting two arrows to double the effect. After the next few moments, he did certainly strike his target but one of the arrows went in its vicious madible to be broken into two while the other pierced the area between its eyes. The giant ant let out another wail. Elijah was afraid that this time more of its brethren would show up as reinforcements but instead, it began to release a poison spray to his direction. And that's when he had an idea.

His next shot is going to give it even more hurt and hopefully will kill it.

  9. Elijah was one of the first campers to welcome his newest half-sibling into the safest place in the world for demigods. It has been some time since her claiming as he wanted to let her settle down a bit but once she was ready, he was more than happy to show her that it means to have a good time. It was one of his favorite things to do whenever a new camper shows up. He wanted to show them how they can have fun before telling them all the classes they could finds themselves attending to ensure their survival beyond the boundary. But for now, today is Rebecca's day as the two of them had scheduled this to be their beach day. He did not want to say anything more other than having a picnic but he left the cabin earlier so he can set it up with the help of his half-siblings. The young man paraded to the north shore of Long Island Sound along with his crew and went to the spot he had designated just a week before. Placing down a peach scheme picnic blanket flat against the sand, soft pillows and plants followed before the circular low table made its way to the corner of the blanket. Even more decor is stacked onto the table itself and food, locally sourced, is prepared in a grazing board filled with slices of meat, cheese, sweet and savory accoutrements. The drinks are the same goblets you'd find in the dining pavilion where your favorite drink can fill the glass up with a thought.

Sitting on top of one of the pillows, Elijah waited for @ Rebecca Jones to arrive.

  10. "Oh right, that impromptu solo concert you performed at the Dionysus Cabin, right? How could anyone who went forget, not to mention the ones who did would spread word." He could not help but smile at the boldness of her older sister. Elijah was part of the audience and considered even lucky to hear her voice. Well, any Apollo kid's voice sounded nice but hers is one he felt he could vibe with. He was not too certain about other's opinion about his singing but he did not care. He loved doing it as a reminder of all the times his mother tried to get him to be more confident - which is why he also performed right after she did. After seeing her perform, he was beginning to feel restless. He needed to let this energy out... through his music. So if anything, he received some of the attention as well but a certain female camper had been eyeing him since he went on stage. He did not mind as he had planned on hitting her up soon.

"That's good enough for me. Don't need it to make the duet anymore awesome." Elijah flashed her a wink and granted her a wide smile before flipping through the lyrics sheets. They are all meant to be romantic but there was one song he imagined could be better with two people singing so he placed it in front of the tiny pile and moved the stand in between them so they both have a reference. "Hmm, you'll see." It was meant to be a surprise but he knew she can follow along quickly. "You can start us off with the first verse. One, two, three." The guitar strings began to resonate with her voice as he began to play his instrument, crafting the perfect melody to start.

And once the second one came around, the two of them began singing.

I think I kinda, you know
I think I kinda, you know
Like the way that we flow
Like the way that we go
    And I love
I think I kinda, you know
I think I kinda, you know
I think I kinda, you know, you know, you know...

  11. Elijah peeked his head from above as he observed the bearded man enjoy a swig of booze in his canteen. Well that ought to keep him distracted. He knew Willow has her reservations about the man and seeing her react that way after finding him, he felt like they needed to hide. However, the man seemed to be distracted by something else and the boy narrowed his eyes into a pair of slits. Who was there? A camper? Good lord if it was one of the blue teams... but instead it was a hellhound but why was it running away? Did Killian scare it off? It did not matter but at least the man is gone from the scene. It was only a moment of relief that washed over him when he heard a chirping noise coming from behind. Looking back out of instinct, it turned out to be horde of myrmekes. "Are you kidding me right now?"

He ran behind Willow as she sprinted towards where Killian was headed and found her under his arm before she readied herself for combat only to find another red team camper. Great. What a situation- but at least there is one person per large ant. Luckily for him, he did not just bring nonlethal arrows but ones made for killing monsters. "I'll try to get one of them away so it doesn't help. Good luck you guys. Willow! Please be safe." It was obvious he had extra concern for her older half-sister but he was already gone with one ant trailing behind him for the others to respond.

Once he is a bit ways from the rest of their little group, he turned around and readied his stance. "Alright, ant. Show me what you got."

  12. As a brilliant light shone on her ankle, the swelling began to disappear every passing moment he sang to his father. Once he was done, the light began to fade and her ankle was revealed to be healed completely. "It's my pleasure, Lilythe. Would have been better if I had my guitar with me but it's not a good idea to bring my girl to battle." He spoke, referring to his musical instrument. "You might be in the blue team since the Hermes Cabin is, but we are still campers. It's no fun to not help anyone who needs it, right?" The boy stood up and a hand reached out to her for her to take so she could stand up as well. "Anyways, it's good seeing you well. You too, Emberlynn. In about five seconds, we're enemies again. One... two..."

    The boy took off.

  13. "That's very good. I'm happy to hear that." He spoke after listening to experiences with her satyr friend. Everyone has their own satyr with some being the same. Ever since Percy's deal with the gods, the creatures have been out and about tracking demigods and doing their best to bring them here. Some more hesitant to go, others just eager to leave what they considered to be a mundane life. Everyone's experiences is different but there are also those that aren't very straightforward, those who met their satyr far earlier. "My encounter with a satyr might be something you may not expect, but since we're on the topic... Mine was my mom's manager. She was a famous singer back then." He paused. "The three of us were inside a cargo van along with my mom's agency's staff members. We were heading towards an event in Arizona when a hellhound and this one is rather huge for what I knew- just lunged towards us and rammed us. The van flew and tipped over, I think. When I woke up, myself, mom, and Mr. Oak was alive. We weren't sure how but we were still breathing. That's when he told us he's a satyr to explain how we're still alive."

Elijah did not want to let his thoughts wander to his death so it was good timing that she had asked him how to shoot with more than one arrow. He was unsure if he can actually do it since she was just starting but it would not hurt to help her see what is it like. He shrugged. "Fine, fine. Come on. Grab two arrows from your quiver and return to your usual stance." Watching as she did as was instructed, he began to approach her once more to guide her hand, arm, and elbow positions before forming a firm grip to her wrist once again. "This time, hold your arrows like this." He had her hold the rear of the shafts between her fingers until they are lined up nearly as parallel to each other. "So for two arrows. It's a bit easier since all you need is for them to be lined up like that. Now the difference is the weight. See how you sort of feel that your hand is heavier and the bow? Because you added the weight of another arrow. You'd want to adjust your stance to take that into account. Even just a little bit." He nodded. Elijah neared his face towards her black locks again, eyeing on the target as well as she could.

    "And shoot."

  14. Elijah continued to sing the song with tenor. To someone who may be listening, the song may be dedicated to a special someone in his life but in truth, the boy is just a hopeless romantic. He liked writing and singing these types of songs as most of them were meant to be pop or ballad, or even a little bit of hip hop. Finally, his finger strummed the last string of his guitar and his voice faded into the cabin air. Eyes opening up to see Willow leaning against the door, her voice actually startled him. He was so focused on his song that he could not hear her footsteps and he was under the impression that everyone else is out today. Well, she can be an exception.

"Geez Louise." A hand was pressing on his chest where his heart is, feeling it beat rather fast from the sudden jump scare. "Scared the daylights out of me, sis." Elijah licked his lips before taking a deep breath in an effort to calm himself. It was actually a relief to see her as she is one of the more relaxed half-siblings while others are total extroverts with some convinced to be Dionysus' children without context. "Hey, how are you doing? I'll be pretty much here most of the day so if you want to hang around and chill, that's cool with me too." He paused. "Hmm... why don't we write a song together? We can perform a duet."

  15. After seeing that their flag had been taken three times, Elijah could not help but feel demotivated. He wanted to prove himself to his team that he could be a good asset but instead actually helped out someone from the blue team to heal their ankle. It wouldn't be long for the news to reach them but he did not care. It was a person who needed help and he was going to see her again after the game ended. The boy shrugged at the thought as he noticed his older half-sister walking. Had she given up already? He found himself following her a couple paces behind, preferring to not make his presence known until later. Soon, the two of them reached the creek and the calming sounds of water running reached his ears. This is just what he needed. He had been standing a bit above so he was looking down at her but then he noticed a familiar figure down further. An orange, bearded man... Killian? What a coincidence. Seeing that she was backing up, the stepping on a twig caused him to rush drag her down to the ground to hide themselves.

At least, he can't see them from below.

  16. Elijah was scurrying through the woods with a bow and arrow in hand, ready to be drawn at any given moment. The arrows on his quiver aren't lethal but same of the same wooden shaft you'd find in the shed near the archery field. Instead, a foam tip is there so it would not pierce through the skin whenever he shoots. However, the shaft could punch through the tip and hit the target with blunt force but it is better than drawing blood. When he heard a scream nearby, the voice was familiar. Lilythe. He recalled her mentioning that she would be the games' moderator but the noise could be that a camper could mistaken her for an enemy. He had to act fast. The boy sprinted through the trees and saw the Hermes cabin leader sitting down along with a teenage, rainbowed haired girl? Was she the Iris girl everyone's talking about? Arriving to the laughter, he began with a little introduction. "Sorry if you guys were just starting your girl talk. Elijah, son of Apollo. You're Emberlynn, right? Temporary truce. Just going to heal her ankle and we're enemies again."

After inquiring where's the hurt, he knelt down before it and prepared himself to sing the usual hymn to his father. Closing his eyes and taking a deep breath, he began the song with a tenor and light began to shroud her ankle.

  17. Her tutor observed as she proceeded with her next move. He had his eyes on the position of her overall upper body while noting her stance. When she released another arrow, it zoomed through the air, piercing a spot on the ring preceding the center. Well, not everyone gets it on their first try but it certainly is better than shooting farther from the center or missing the target entirely. He can't gauge her progress just yet but he felt like she can shot better when she puts in enough time and effort into her aim. So assuming she does enter one of their archery contests, she could score high with that determination. It certainly will be a while until their slot to use the archery field is up so he decided to take advantage of the time they have with her training... and a bit of talking. Elijah doesn't mind as the two had not talked much since they first met last summer.

"I had a satyr friend who enrolled me into this archery program so he took me to their classes couple times a week. Like yourself, I was not the best at shooting arrows at first but I somehow produced accurate and precise shots within a short period of time. My peers could do the same as well but they could not keep up with the streak. Then they had me shoot two arrows, then three, then four... along with some other shots that seemed far to advanced for others. I almost felt like Hawkeye, that one Marvel dude." He could not help but chuckle. "Samuel. He passed away so swordplay and archery is the only thing I have left of him. Who knew someone close to us is a satyr all this time? I didn't care though. I thought he looked cooler." He paused. "Sorry for that little sob story."

  18. Elijah found her declare for monsters to fear her quite campy but he knew she's got the idea. Knowing that the situation with her father is well now, he wished he could have done something to help her last summer like offering her private lessons. He knew that they were not close enough for him to be involved as he felt that he was just an archery tutor to her but the need to help someone drove him conspicuously. It was not until the fall of last year that Chiron allowed him to offer private lessons as he preferred to trust him to instruct the right material. "On the bright side, there's nothing to fear about you here." A smile etched on his face as he flashed her a wink, amused by his own little commentary. "Still, I will do my best to guide you into the right direction. Whether or not your arrows hit your targets, that is up to you."

He began to examine her stance as he continued to instruct her, giving her hand gestures for her to adjust her body as he needed. The changes he made were not too much as she almost has her foundations done - just needed a few tweaks. When he got close to her, he placed a soft hold onto her arms, wrists, and hands so he could adjust their positions in accordance to her build. He then maintained a firm grip on her wrists as to not let his hands get in the way but for her to really get into the enter of the target, he had to position his face awfully close to her from the back of the head as his nose and lips could be enshrouded by her black locks. To the outside observer, this could be a chance to tell and spark unnecessary rumors about them which was why he glanced around before approaching earlier. Finally, she releases the arrow with a loud pronounced cracking SNAP of the bow string, causing him to part from her person. The shaft streaks from the longbow with speed until it pierced the desired area. He could not help but flash her a wide grin. "You certainly did! I'm proud of you, Dahlia. Now focus on practicing that and then I'll have someone from the Hecate Cabin make the targets move around. What's growing without a challenge, right?"

  19. Today was one of his days off from camp training so he made the leisure decision of spending it towards song composition. You would find him helping out Chiron with archery classes or even taking the lead on lessons but today, he can be found in Cabin 7. Besides the lodging's function of nursing the injured, it can be converted into a music studio with a bit of rearranging the furniture - but there was no need for another impromptu concert. He preferred to spend the time alone or with another one of his half-siblings simply because he required the concentration in the absence of distractions. Other than that, he knew everyone else is out so he knew that he has the cabin to himself for as much time as he needs. Content filled his soul as he gave another look to the cabin. No one else but him - nothing but peace and quiet. Elijah could not help but smile as he got settled in his couch with an acoustic guitar in his lap and lyric sheets displayed on an elevated rack nearby. After taking the moment to tune his instrument, he peeked over to the sheets - a melodic tune gently flowing into his ears. Envisioning music notes floating around the cabin interior, a quirky side smile sprouted from his lips as he gingerly caressed the cherry wood material, playing her every so elegantly. His hands strum and pull on the guitar's strings, then his voice began to accompany the music as planned. @ Willow Iris Hazelwood

I thought you were my fairy-tale
My dream when I'm not sleepin'
A wish upon a star that's comin' true
    But everybody else could tell
That I confused my feelings with the truth
When there was me and you, whoa

  20. Elijah was playing a match of volleyball that was scheduled between he and some friends. It was not a competition but a casual game between ten players, five on both sides of the net. If it is one thing he is competitive, it is this very sport. He loved playing offensive strategies - he can be found spiking the ball or gently touching it right above the net so anyone on the other side would not have time to reach it. By the same coin, he liked to show that he is capable of returning the ball to the other side through cooperation with his team though there are times when he touched the ball despite it going out of bounds. This costed his team a point so he tried not to make it a habit. The child of Apollo left the court with a close game but he congratulated his team for doing their best. Sitting on the bench next to his thermos and wiped from the shoulders up with a somewhat clean towel. Once he finished sulking, he took a swig of his water and walked back to his cabin to unwind.

As he approached the gold-looking cabin, he could hear a familiar voice from inside - James? Looks like he's jamming with the his half-siblings again, not that he mind. In fact, this is the perfect time to unwind. His legs soon carried him to the door and opened it to see an older aussie male singing his heart out while playing his guitar with his siblings playing along with their preferred instrument. Exchanging glances with him, he followed with a smile as he stood to the side and leaned against the cabin wall with his hands cushioning his waist's rear, leaning his head side by side in tune with his song. He liked hearing it and remembered the times it was played during his impromptu concerts. He brings joy to the cabin and most importantly, he brings joy to his older half-sister, Rissa.

  21. Elijah was not initially interested in helping out Chiron with archery coaching. He was a shy little kid unlike most Apollo children but he grew his confidence with the help of his mother who was a singer. She taught him how to sing and it was singing that helped him overcome that barrier. Songs assisted him in expression of emotion and if he liked one, he'll sing to it very soon. When approached the centaur again, he thought helping him out will help him further in getting out of his shell. Teaching was not his best skill but archery is something that he excelled in so he was confident in instructing campers how to perform better. Dahlia became one of the students he met last year so he gave his attention to her and the other newer campers. He loved building rapport and got to know her a little more but the two only engaged in small talk here and there. "Right, your dad owns it." He remembered her mentioning it but he must have forgotten it. "I think it's brave that you're protecting the farm on your own. Since you are here, I want you to leave camp knowing that you can protect your crops better. I like your initiative."

Happy to hear her response, he wanted to be the one to oversee her progress and work with Chiron on how to make her better. With a camper that bears the right character, he believed she can grow to have better aim. "Your foot position provides the foundation of proper shooting posture. The sooner we can correct it, the better. The distance is a little bit wide so move your feet shoulder-width. And keep your knees slightly bent. Have your elbow point opposite from the target over there. Everyone is different so be sure to find a stance that fits you. Now stay there." He approached her from the back, both of his hands placing on top of hers so he could guide her into the correct position despite his face being awfully close to her's. "There we go. Now shoot.

  22. Elijah was already in the Big House, occupying himself in the camp's infirmary - one of the first things he does as soon as he comes back to camp. He liked to keep the place organize for others to use and he never liked a scenario where a camper doesn't know where things are because some our out of place thus even delaying seconds of treatment. He shivered at the thought and resumed rearranging the supplies while replacing the labels that seem to wear out. To make them last longer, he gave the labels a laminated finish. Antibiotic ointment, eyewash solution, hydrogen peroxide, cold packs, cotton balls and swabs, you name it. He doesn't have the credentials to be a nurse or a doctor but the least he could do is to give quality first aid treatment. Once he was done, he left the room only to hear multiple voices coming from another. He was sure he could have heard them but he was probably too focused on his little project.

His legs carried him to where the voices originated and the first he saw is a tall, bearded figure with a thick Irish accent. Elijah could recognize that voice anywhere so he approached him to give him a pat in the shoulder with a cordial smile. "Killian? Welcome back." Moving forward, two other campers appeared within eyesight - one of which brought him to smile even more so before wrapping his arms around her in a brief hug. "Welcome back, Willow. I've missed you." Once he parted from the hug, he looked down at the young somewhat dirty blonde haired lass who had inquired about their parents, the first question he picked up as soon as he entered the room. "I do apologize for... crashing into your conversation. I'm Elijah. And you are...?"

"Hmm..." He shot a glance towards Willow and left it up to her if she wanted to reveal their god parent. "My father is Apollo and my mother was a singer. She's a dietician now.

  23. Archery class was taught by none other than Chiron himself but he does get help from the children of Apollo should they volunteer. Elijah was one of them as he enjoyed showing the ropes to campers on how to shoot arrows. It's an important skill to learn just as learning how to use other weapons. If the campers can apply the techniques learned from this class to other ranged weapons, then he would consider it a job well done. The field was bound by a wooden fence and on the far side are targets for anyone to shoot at. Every month, Chiron and the children of Apollo hold archery rounds to see which camper can get the highest score and who needs improvement. There's no prize other than bragging rights but these contests are held to see how far campers got.

"It's good to see you too." He responded with none other than a smile back. Really, it is. She was one of the campers who tried her best on every archery lesson and her dedication made her stand out to him. Elijah also admired her name because she's pretty as the flower she was named after but he was certain other campers share the same thought. "Yeah, you mentioned your family owns a farm? How are they if you don't mind me asking? Are they alright?" Or rather, he was curious to know. He wanted her to see him as more than the guy who gives archery lessons but as a friend too. Someone she can rely on. "I admire your dedication and resolve. You shouldn't beat yourself up, Dahlia - but you are right that you need more practice. The more you do it, the more likely you'll shoot the arrow accurately without even thinking about it. Muscle memory, right? It's a common theme for camp training."

Elijah glanced around just to make sure no one else is on the field. "Since both of us is here, why don't I give you some pointers? Consider it a private lesson. I'm not Chiron but I'm proficient. What do you say?"
