Seong Eun-ji biography Jung-dae, also known as DAE, was a k-pop idol, big in Korea in the early 90s. He was a natural heartthrob and always loved to sleep around with women, often getting his way with them, but was a charmer and bedded many women due to his status. One of these particular women was special, meeting her backstage after a performance in the US. She had an air of mystery and amorous charm around her, and after some sweet talk backstage, they had a passionate one night stand in his suite, and he never saw her again. Of course, the man continued his tour, but when he returned home a couple months later in his hometown of Seoul, South Korea, a beautiful baby girl was waiting for him in the arms of that very woman. She told him that her name was Aphrodite, goddess of love, and that the child was his. She informed him about a camp in America, and that when the time was right, and before she turned 13, she would have to be claimed by her. Jung-dae was so shocked by this, he fainted. But nonetheless, when he woke up, the baby was waiting for him, and so he swallowed his fear, calmed his shaky nerves, and packed up his bags to move to the US. He retired from his stellar, glitzy life, to settle down in a fancy house in Atlantic City, New Jersey. He didn't want any bad karma from this incident, so he did what she asked...to the barest extent. However, her father wasn't very attentive, still chasing that partying lifestyle and not really having time for his daughter, and her care was left in the hands of a housekeeper who taught her how to fight, how to defend herself. She had been bullied at school for her Korean heritage, as she spoke Korean primarily at home and was too timid to speak English at her school, which led to her language skills developed slower. However, in her youth, she very quickly learned that her words, whenever she spoke them, had big effects. People would always do what she asked. And once, unbeknownst to anyone, she caused one of her few friends to hurt themselves by running into the street and being hit by a car when she said for them to "run away and leave her alone." It was a petty argument when they were children, and they weren't seriously hurt, but she was so traumatized by that incident, and that started her long period of silence and reclusive behavior. Her father, when he was around, was very emotionally distant, neglecting the child. It lead to her growing up extremely timid, which carried over into her teen years now. She became less reclusive and more gentle and shy. When Eun-ji was only 10, she was attacked in her bed by a hellhound that had broken through her window and chased her through the halls of the mansion. She tried to fend it off, but although she could fight, she was way too small to keep herself safe, but her beloved caretaker, the housekeeper, came rushing out and attacked it with a broom, revealing that he had...furry legs and hooves? Confused and already tired from the endeavor, the housekeeper, now revealed to be a satyr, awoke Jung-dae from his sleep, bringing him into the living room for a discussion. The satyr conversed with the father, who couldn't really be bothered to care much about the situation. "Surely there's a way to send her away earlier, right?" he had said, pouring himself a drink, "If there is, than do it. If it's not safe here for me, then look at the future trouble the child will cause! Take her with you, for all I care." Surprised from his dismissive nature, the satyr agreed to travel with young Eun-ji to camp, and she became a year round camper, after being claimed almost immediately by her mother, Aphrodite. She learned that her words having power was actually an ability, being charmspeak. Eun-ji spent her time usually training, training, training, in every weapon she could get her hands on and often stylizes her weapons to be fashion accessories AND deadly weapons (such as her eyeliner concealing a small, celestial bronze knife, a folding fan being used like a tessen weapon, wrapping her sword's handle in pink, etc) she gets along well enough with most campers, but prefers the company of clashing blades as opposed to socializing and flirting like her other siblings. Personality An extremely sweet and timid individual, hiding in the shadows of her stylish, beautiful siblings. She is by no means self depreciative about her looks, Eunji (known affectionately as Ji or Eun) knows she's pretty, but she is much more invested in the art of the blade. She is very kind, with a warm, sunshiney personality, always smiling, and nuturing but she is extremely timid in her abilities and anything not involving battle or fashion, hiding behind her siblings (reminiscent of a shy child) and scared around people and anyone who wants to approach her, like a skittish kitten. She is a very good listener and even better at comforting others, especially when it comes to relationships and amorous endeavors. On the battlefield, she becomes a different person. Her sword's hilt may be pink, but the way she fights with it is as graceful as a dance but as aggressive and strong as an Ares kid. She is ruthless, cold, and calculative and will win by any means, becoming extremely hyperfocused. But afterwards, don't be surprised if she presents you with some treats and chocolates and wrap your wounds! She adores her siblings, but she dislikes how seductive they are, believing in the sanctity of true love and taking your time with it as opposed to playing the field. Spells Akemi can Cast: (All of them require an incantation as she is casting them) -Pyrokinesis: Akemi can create small balls of fire in her palms, thrown and scattered like baseballs that can combust upon destruction or contact. She uses them as landmines and further more, blasts/flashes of heat that can stagger opponents. It can easily be retaken control of by any other demigods with pyrokinetic powers. -Hydrokinesis: The kind of spell she has the least amount of practice in. She is by no means powerful in it, but she can manipulate water by moving it, slowly, and can explode plastic water bottles with enough concentration. But it's mostly limited to water gun force amount of spurts in the face. -Aerokinesis: She can stir up a wind powerful enough to cause a breeze and carry leaves on the wind. She uses it to often kick dirt and dust in people's faces to blind them, or to blow people/smaller enemies back. Anyone with Aerokinesis can easily overpower her. -Cryokinesis: She can emit an icy frost from her hands, frosting water on the ground into a trip hazard, or a simple icy beam that can definitely cause icy damage to an opponent, or create ice cubes as a little party trick -Electrokinesis: She is capable enough to summon sparks of electricity that can hotwire cars, power objects, etc. She can also cause sudden shocks to people if she gets her hands on someone. -Telekinesis: She can levitate objects, repel objects with magical force, redirect the trajectory of certain objects with her mind and incantations. She cannot levitate things that weigh more than half her body weight, so say, people. But she can levitate people and objects if they fit that criteria. -Energy Blasts: She can emit bolts of magical energy that take on a violet/dark purple hue, that can stun people, hurt enemies (it feels like firey burns/stinging/stabbing pain) -Binding: She knows a very effective binding spell that can tie down and bind the bodies, hands, legs, wrists, of any human. Monsters, it's harder to maintain but still possible. -Force Fields: She can generate a quick force field bubble that can break easily, but it takes a lot more than a punch and a swing of a sword to break. -Concealment: She can conceal her presence with ease, along with others. -Healing: She is, by no means, a healer like an Apollo kid, but with a few uttered words she can stop bleeding of wounds to prevent them from getting worse. Umbrakinesis: While her abilities limiting to Mystokinesis are rudimentary at best, her control and manipulation of shadows is very easily her strongest. She can use shadows like a "curtain of invisibility," and as long as there is the cover of the night or darkness, she could become virtually invisible to the naked eye. She can manipulate shadows like whips and ribbons and ropes, binding people, disarming people, or can trap people in shadows. She can solidify them slightly, to deflect projectiles, but they cannot support her weight. Spells she has yet to learn: -Chronokinesis: Far into the future, she can cast a spell that can temporarily slow time for 5 seconds. Mostly to get away. -Chlorokinesis: She's currently working to see if flowers will grow at a spell's command. She, cannot, in the future, grow or manipulate anything bigger than a bush. -Mist Manipulation: Unaware that these abilities exist, Akemi will soon pour a lot of effort into mastering this form of magic and will go to great lengths to do so... -Improvement Amongst Elemental Abilities

Hello there, Dusk here! So, what are Drabbles, if you may ask? It's my way of listing just random quirks and habits of my characters, giving them a little more realistic character. Like favorite foods, hobbies, etc, that aren't included in their backstories. I often list them line by line, like this: - - - But that's up to you, if you choose to take inspiration They're often very short, like 1-2 sentences, and they can be rather long! But it's up to you what you decide entirely

Name: Akemi Lancaster Years of Fighting Experience: 3-4 Abilities: -Can cast an array of spells, being a Hecate kid -Can summon fire, not as powerful as a Hephaestus kid but can cast fire magic -Can conceal presence, making it harder to be detected -Can manipulate shadows, has the ability of Umbrakinesis -If strong enough, she could summon Greek fire -Can freeze things, briefly, not as strong as any child of the Big 3 but enough to make people slip on a puddle of ice Preferred Weapon of Choice: A Celestial Bronze tachi, nicknamed Arashi (Tempest) and an extra Celestial Bronze wakizashi (smaller, like a knife) Strengths: -Very skilled in spellcasting, can cast up to 10 different spells (not at once) without exhaustion -Agile, years of avoiding others have allowed her to be quick on her feet and good at escaping -Her umbrakinesis abilities give her an edge sometimes -She can use a tachi sword rather well -She is observant and intelligent Weaknesses: -She is not strong, often resorting to a specialized sword used for stabbing, slicing, etc. -When using Umbrakinesis, the shadows 'infect' her, causing extreme chills and muscle cramps due to their darkened nature, and if she controls them too much, she could very easily be left vulnerable to attacks. -She lacks experience in other weapons. -She lacks full contact combat abilities, such has hand to hand. She often results to more of an 'assassin' kill to avoid fighting others head on, as she could very easily lose. -She is not aware that Hecate kids can manipulate the Mist, and thus, is very bad and lacks all experience in it. Other: Akemi is not the best at swordplay, but she definitely could fight less experienced monsters and such if given the chance. Her abilities are at their best during the full moon, as it is when shadows are at their wildest, and when her magic courses through her veins. She had almost neglected non-magical combat entirely, relying on magic perhaps a little too much, which can lead to her being easily defeated by disarming her with her sword and combating her in a more sunny area, which weakens her umbrakinesis as well as her overall magical prowess. She does not know Mist manipulation is a thing, therefore lacking experience and knowledge in that area, but she is by no means a pushover and can hold her own, but not for long in some circumstances. She can summon fire, bring forth ice, conceal presence, cast a magical barrier, and manipulate and levitate things through minor telekinesis. If casting too many spells in succession, casting too many spells at once, casting more than 10 spells in a day, and 30 in a week, she begins to receive extreme headaches, fatigue, chills, and nausea/dizziness, and if she keeps pushing herself, she could lose her ability to cast spells entirely for days, weeks, etc. Outside of her magical abilities, she is very acrobatic and quite fast, great at spying and stealth missions, but lacks strength and proper battle intelligence as she always goes out of her way to not combat others, sometimes not fighting them entirely, slashing throats before clashing blades. Akemi A bit stiff at first, often going out of her way to go unnoticed by others or to not talk to other people. Simply put, she likes people, and goes out of her way to watch others. This can lead to awkward, hostile, or tense encounters with others due to misunderstandings and boundaries. Akemi often is a bit oblivious to societal norms and boundaries, becoming quiet and meek in the company of many, and cutting off friendships when they are too emotional, as she feels that she has learned all she needs about one particular person and tries to move on from them. She has an affinity for exploration, often wandering around camp on her own time, or practicing spells and testing their limits. She can be friendly and a good listener if you're interesting enough to her, which is not hard to be in her eyes, and gives good advice when prompted, going out of her way to help people at times.
