  1. "I'm more than happy to show you, sunshine boy." she did a mock curtsy, running a hand through her hair and leaning forward, ruffling his own curls, coiling one around her finger, but no sooner released it. "Where else would you find such an elusive spectral, hm, little songbird?" she teased, her eyes gaining that mischievous twinkle as she stepped back, feeling the cold rush through her. She loved it.

"Ventum, ad imperium meum collige," she had uttered again, holding her hands out. A vortex of air gathered between her palms once more, blowing at her hair a bit. It was one thing to manipulate air; it was another to harness the wind itself. Biting her lip so hard in concentration it bled, matching her lipstick once more, she eventually released the air in her hands in a gentle breeze towards him, giving him a slight chill.

"I've been practicing how to harness the weather, actually." she held a hand to her bleeding lip, panting. "It's been going...moderately decent, I would say?"

  2. The spellcaster, clad in black, got up and walked over at the prospect of her friend showing up and sat down in front of him. It hasn't been long since they first met, perhaps a month or so, but the time seemed to blow by like the wind whipping at her hair. She patted her locks down, them being mussed and ruffled by the breezes. "Hello to you too. I take it from your fashionable attire you won't be training with me today?" she tilted her head to the side.

"But beyond that, what are here with me for, hm? Looking to mess with me?" she lowered her gaze, intimidating, but it had a hint of playfulness. "You wouldn't dare cross me, right?" she teased, but poked him in the ribs, stealing his drink, sipping it. She had a small smile as she did, it was delicious. She handed it back, but not without all the marshmallows being consumed by her, with a coy smirk on her face. Akemi enjoyed his company, she really did, despite her usual antisocial nature...which was slowly changing thanks to the ball of sunshine in front of her.

  3. The weather was favorable that day, perfect for some basic magic practice. The sky was painted silvery, streaky gray, with sprinkles of rain here and there. Wind howled, whipping her hair in the wind like a flag raised on a mast. She had her eyebrows furrowed in focus, her hands held a small distance apart, focusing.

"Ventum, ad imperium meum collige," she had whispered, the wild gales biting at her cheek, blowing at her leather bomber jacket. She watched as a spiral of air formed in her hands, slowly, the presence of the weather being stronger. But then as quickly as the mini vortex formed, it dispersed, the wind overpowering it. "Vlacas-" she said, frustrated. Akemi found this weather perfect to practice using the weather against her enemies, but her control over the aspects of the weather were weaker, and her magical power alone wouldn't be enough to syphon the wind, let alone control it entirely. She bit back the choice words reveling in her throat, and the deprecating thoughts overpowering her mind, falling back onto the grass, staring at the lovely sky, mumbling in anger. @ Elijah Quinn

  4. She didn't expect to be prompted that. Honestly, she wasn't sure. Being broken out from her shell like this was new to her. "Maybe I will, hm? You'll see me around...only if I'm willing to allow you to interact with me," she quickly clarified, to not have that comment taken the wrong way, twirling her hair around her fingers nervously. "But nonetheless, I suppose...you could teach me archery? Someday? Some time? Of course, I'll gladly retreat back into the shadows if you would- not care to speak with me anymore." she tried to mince her words, but she honestly did not expect the bright ball of sunshine to mingle with the shadows much longer. She thought he was offering a gesture of kindness.

"Besides that, I'll stick around for that cookie." she had a twinkle in her eye, although her face was impassive. She loved sweet things; especially sweets with a richer flavor.

  6. "My price can be steep, but for someone so loyal to my services, I think I'll spare a few of the requirements." she winked, an unusual display of levity for the umbrakinetic. She had a bunch of ideas racing through her mind, twirling her hair around her fingers once more, her lips curling into a mischievous smirk. She liked Evelyn, she really did. One of the very few she had a soft spot for; one who wanted to know more. Perhaps about others, or just wanted more in general. That's what was the bait, the key to befriending her. It was to get closer to her.

The question Evelyn had prompted brought her back down to reality. "Erm..." she looked away, letting her hair fall over her green tinted eyes. "Well..." she quickly recovered. "Well, wouldn't want to steal the spotlight from you, hm? With how mesmerizing I can be sometimes- but besides that, it may as come a shock to you, but I'm...I'm not sure..." her voice got quiet. Thoughts from her past flashed back. "Let's just say no one really wanted me seen. So I listened to that. Is that a good enough response?" the last sentence was full of ice, with some sadness. She quickly caught herself and sighed, looking up at her and smiling. "Sorry. But genuinely. Haven't been in the spotlight. Don't plan on doing so, either."

  7. "Duratus," Akemi whispered, waving her hand over the water she had levitated with one hand, freezing it over. It fell into her hands, and she nearly dropped it from how cold it was. "Ouch, that's cold-" she hissed in slight pain, but tossed the ice in the air again, pointing her hands at it. A shaky breath escaped her parted lips, determined to make it work. "Ad aquam formam." and back into water it melted, falling downwards, landing in her hands in a form of a bubble. It wasn't any bigger than the size of an orange, but she chuckled, quite amused and impressed. A rare smile crossed her lips.

But the Hecate kid did not revel in this accomplishment for long, as she heard footsteps behind her, and out of instinct, she swirled her hands, the water forming into a jet she shot behind her out of surprise. She did not expect it to make contact, but horror crossed her face the moment it occured.

"My biggest apologies- or- sorry, sorry about that-" she covered her hands with her mouth out of surprise. @ Loukas Makris

  8. Spells Akemi can Cast:

(All of them require an incantation as she is casting them)

-Pyrokinesis: Akemi can create small balls of fire in her palms, thrown and scattered like baseballs that can combust upon destruction or contact. She uses them as landmines and further more, blasts/flashes of heat that can stagger opponents. It can easily be retaken control of by any other demigods with pyrokinetic powers.

-Hydrokinesis: The kind of spell she has the least amount of practice in. She is by no means powerful in it, but she can manipulate water by moving it, slowly, and can explode plastic water bottles with enough concentration. But it's mostly limited to water gun force amount of spurts in the face.

-Aerokinesis: She can stir up a wind powerful enough to cause a breeze and carry leaves on the wind. She uses it to often kick dirt and dust in people's faces to blind them, or to blow people/smaller enemies back. Anyone with Aerokinesis can easily overpower her.

-Cryokinesis: She can emit an icy frost from her hands, frosting water on the ground into a trip hazard, or a simple icy beam that can definitely cause icy damage to an opponent, or create ice cubes as a little party trick

-Electrokinesis: She is capable enough to summon sparks of electricity that can hotwire cars, power objects, etc. She can also cause sudden shocks to people if she gets her hands on someone.

-Telekinesis: She can levitate objects, repel objects with magical force, redirect the trajectory of certain objects with her mind and incantations. She cannot levitate things that weigh more than half her body weight, so say, people. But she can levitate people and objects if they fit that criteria.

-Energy Blasts: She can emit bolts of magical energy that take on a violet/dark purple hue, that can stun people, hurt enemies (it feels like firey burns/stinging/stabbing pain)

-Binding: She knows a very effective binding spell that can tie down and bind the bodies, hands, legs, wrists, of any human. Monsters, it's harder to maintain but still possible.

-Force Fields: She can generate a quick force field bubble that can break easily, but it takes a lot more than a punch and a swing of a sword to break.

-Concealment: She can conceal her presence with ease, along with others.

-Healing: She is, by no means, a healer like an Apollo kid, but with a few uttered words she can stop bleeding of wounds to prevent them from getting worse.

Umbrakinesis: While her abilities limiting to Mystokinesis are rudimentary at best, her control and manipulation of shadows is very easily her strongest. She can use shadows like a "curtain of invisibility," and as long as there is the cover of the night or darkness, she could become virtually invisible to the naked eye. She can manipulate shadows like whips and ribbons and ropes, binding people, disarming people, or can trap people in shadows. She can solidify them slightly, to deflect projectiles, but they cannot support her weight.

Spells she has yet to learn:

-Chronokinesis: Far into the future, she can cast a spell that can temporarily slow time for 5 seconds. Mostly to get away.

-Chlorokinesis: She's currently working to see if flowers will grow at a spell's command. She, cannot, in the future, grow or manipulate anything bigger than a bush.

-Mist Manipulation: Unaware that these abilities exist, Akemi will soon pour a lot of effort into mastering this form of magic and will go to great lengths to do so...

    -Improvement Amongst Elemental Abilities

  9. "Your willingness to reach out and get to know me is reminiscent of a golden retriever," she retorted, but hid her smile. "But sunshine always gives light to the shadows, I suppose. I guess it can't be helped." she thought for a moment as they walked alone, still recoiling from the fact he was so worked up and gave a little spiel on individuality that she felt her heart and head betray her.

"Fine, very well, as you wish." she looked at him, finally. She let the shadows diminish to stop bothering him with the chill. He seemed patient and easygoing enough; might as well give him a chance. "You owe me a cookie or two. That's my price to talk to me. Bargain if you wish, but I won't negotiate for anything less." she said it semi playfully. She did want a cookie.

  10. She was silent on that. No one had really chose to ask her things, or get close to her, so she just hummed again in response to his little backstory. That's one trickle of information she bled out of him. She didn't notice that feeling yet, but something in the back of her mind told her not to use him like the others, but she suppressed this feeling and kept it more to herself.

"Why I avoid people? Hm..." she was silent for a brief moment. "My father saw me as a sort of...stain. Ruining his pledge to abstinence until his wife came back, but then I was born. Stepmother wasn't the best either, so they just- chose to keep me hidden. As someone who didn't deserve to be seen, and so I learned to watch. Listen. I guess that still sticks with me today." she exhaled, memories bleeding through her mind like ink.

  11. She turned her head forward, as to not to meet his eyes. "That's a first if I've ever heard it," she said lightly, with some amusement in her tone. "Many don't say more than one word to me, and yet, that is all." she sighed, slowly walking along, the shadows behind her acting as a sort of repellent for monsters. "When did you come to camp? Perhaps that's a personal question, but," she chuckled mischievously. "Nonetheless, I am dragging you across the woods, and leaving myself vulnerable to attacks, no? So come on, humor me a little about yourself."

Akemi didn't respond to the comment calling her cute, except opting for a hum in response as they walked along the woods, the sun being blocked out by a canopy of leaves, a breeze chilling the area. Her kind of weather.

  12. "I got nothing else to do, so why not?" she shrugged and walked over, walking along side him. She just strolled next to him, curious as to how he'd keep going. "Keep a hand on that injury, it doesn't look pretty." she chuckled, seeing him struggle. It was amusing to her, how quickly he had come undone, in a sense, from that cut. Such is a fascinating reaction from people.

As she witnessed him almost trip, she had a smirk on her face. "Well, well, alright then." she examined him closely. "You want to lean on me? Might ease the pain from walking, a little." she was being polite, but nonetheless, she was genuinely concerned on how deep the cut was. "I'll walk next to you, whether you want to use me as a crutch or not. But don't expect me to baby you so much after a small spar like that," she teased, booping his nose with a smirk. "I can't just drag you around like a doll after every little cut."

  13. She crossed her arms. "I'll walk you there, if you like. Wouldn't want you to get mauled, sunshine." she flicked the blood off of her knife before sheathing it, walking over with her hands in her pockets. "Let me see the wound, I know a minor healing spell that could at least stop its bleeding." her face was neutral, as per usual, but her eyes could not hide that she was semi-remorseful and also rather concerned about his current state. "I owe you that, at least.

The feeling hadn't completely subsided in her chest, as she took a deep breath to steady her nerves. Perhaps she was only admitting it to herself, but she had always...admired him. Always had some form of affectionate fond spot for him, seeing him around camp. She'd admit it to herself, but she would most certainly not admit it to him.

She did look at the growing bloody stain on his shirt, though, wincing. "It looks pretty bad... you sure you're alright?"

  14. "Gah-!" she fell backwards with him, surprised at them tumbling backwards, her face heating up, her heart rate increasing slightly, her back stinging slight

She didn't hesitate as she smirked, using her non trapped hand to draw her knife and cut him, semi deeply for good measure, across his side and through his shirt.. "Oh, I'm feeling great," she said, wiggling out of his grip and backrolling to her feet, holding her hand out to help him up. "And that's game." she smiled at him slightly. "You're pretty good, sunshine, I'm very impressed."

She could still feel her cheeks slightly red, but she waved it off as embarrassment. The shadows had a playful presence behind her, as if they were...chuckling? She still held out her hand nonetheless to pull him up.

  15. "A melee fighter as well." she deflected the light arrows with shadows, like a shield on her arm as she saw him charging at her. She didnt have time to dodge him, so she jumped back and to the side, her hands filling with purple energy. The perk of her Mystokinetic abilities, she could cast energy blasts, manifesting as purple energy and light in her hands.

She jumped behind him, shooting a bolt of violet light at his back, aiming to knock him over. She could feel the fatigue slowly creeping up on her, but not enough to slow her down. "You're a good fighter." she said, her hand filling with purple energy again, aiming to repeatedly blast him with the bolts, but every spell cast continued to wear her down slightly, and she couldn't keep casting so many spells in succession.

  16. She whirled around and put her hands out, the arrows stopping before hitting her, and redirected them back over. A telekinetic spell. It wasn't powerful enough to throw anything more than half her weight, but she could definitely use it if need be to repel small projectiles. She was pleasantly surprised to discover he was a photokinetic, though. "Not bad..." she mumbled to herself, snapping her fingers, a small ball of fire conjuring in her hands. She aimed it directly at him, but just before she threw it, she threw one of the fireballs at his feet, and the other, she split into two and threw them both at him.

She kept her distance though, as she felt the shadows curl around her hands, like a makeshift whip, calculating what he would do next.

  18. Akemi just a sly smile on her face as Evelyn struggled to say what she wanted. "Cat got your tongue?" she had teased as Evelyn stammered, but eventually, when Samantha's name was said, her mind filled with devious ideas...more less devious, more so harmless, but to the spellcaster, she had a small vendetta against the Athena girl. She had gotten too close for comfort to getting caught by her, and wanted her slight revenge.

"Give me a few days, is all I ask for, and until then," she put her hands in her pockets, making a clicking noise with her tongue and teeth, and reached out a hand to boop Evelyn on the nose with her pointer finger. "You can still come to me if you need anything else, alright? But watch yourself, dear lover girl," a glint in her eye had manifested, "The more you use my services, the more I'll ask for something, alright?" She had a smile on her face, a mischievous one, one she rarely showed around most people...unless they catered to her likes.

  19. The spellcaster nearly missed dodging that arrow, by moving to the side. "Yikes, that was close." she dove into a roll as a precaution for another arrow, and called out with her mind, for the shadows to gather, and they flowed forward in a silky, black tendril seizing his ankles in attempts to trip him, pulling forward with might. She drew her wakizashi, her specific knife she carried, and prepared for any other tricks he would be throwing at her.

She was by no means a close combat fighter, but he didn't know that, so she used it to her advantage as hopefully, relying on her shadows to off balance him, her mind racing with 20 different outcomes, if only she had her sword, she could have the upper hand slightly, but for now she settled for controlling the shadows to yank him over to her, hoping he couldn't get away.

  20. Akemi just raised her eyebrow at Levi, still questioning the legitimacy of his compliments, as Sage had previously retorted earlier. He seemed interesting enough. If he hadn't wanted or resorted to often seducing every girl he came across with, and hopefully she wouldn't be next, she'd would've liked to befriend him...that is, if he could keep everything in his pants and not let it travel to his head...

"I certainly do know where to find you," she responded to Levi's offer, neutral in tone.

She shook her head at the thought, running a hand through her hair and flicking her eyes back and forth between the two, observing their gazes traveling to two specific girls on the court. Fascinating, she thought, smiling to herself, are the two really notorious, the camp players, really about to settle down? Never thought I'd see the day... she decided to tuck that new information safely in the depths of her mind, like her own personal file cabinet.

Sage may be more upfront about what she knew, but Akemi kept it all mentally hidden...never knowing when she'd need them. Her eyes traveled to the two girls they were looking at- Helena, one of the Aphrodite kids, and Makayla, one of the Nike kids. She couldn't say she was underwhelmed, nor surprised. But in fact, however, was surprised that they even lusted after both of them in the first place.

  21. "You're late, Miss Evelyn," but the smile on her face gave hint as to her behavior towards the aphrodite girl. She found her like a curious little kitten, fluffing her fur constantly and hissing when people tried to get close. Or something of the sort, Akemi was sure about. The night was rich to her, cold, with the breeze rustling her hair.

Her red lips curled into a slight smirk when Evelyn walked over. "This is bold to assume, but I take that you're not here just for my illustrious company, are you? Just state what you want me to do." her tone was teasing and light, but her words were blunt, as she twirled her hair around her finger once more. She enjoyed meeting up with her, by the light of the moon. She wouldn't dare cross her during the day, it brought far too much attention and far too little gain. But she was glad that they were in good spirits. Perhaps, in fact, good enough to get what she would want...but for now, she settled on befriending her for starters.
