  1. She couldn't help but giggled a little at the man that was helping her. She shook her head and just smiled. Adults were funny sometimes. If he didn't want it, then why didn't he just throw it away? She would never understand that. But she wasn't going to sit here and tell him any different. He began telling her that he would talk to James about her father and go from there. This made her perk up a little bit more. Having the older adults help her out and finding her daddy. But he was right. She needed to take one step at a time. She nodded her head and agreed with him. "Okay." She said as she let it sink in a little more. What if her daddy couldn't be found. What would she do? Where would she go? Could she survive this place alone?

Azrael was soon talking once again, and she listened greatly. "Will you help me train?" she questioned him curiously. She knew that James could do it, but she wanted all the help that she could get. And he was Derrick's older brother so there was that. Her eyes widened when he told her that Lilythe had been younger than she was when she made it to the camp. "Really?" She blinked at him. It was hard to picture him and Lilythe so little like she was, but she did try. "Do you think Derrick and I will be close like you and Lilythe?" she questioned him not really knowing how close the two really were.

She had gone on and told him about the dream that she had, and she watched him curiously to see if he gave anything away about knowing what she was talking about. But he gave nothing away. Even when he spoke back to her. She nodded her head as he spoke to her. The monster was pretty scary, and she didn't want to have the dream ever again. It was just too much for her little mind to think about. He went on to tell her that the place was protected by the gods and a fleece. Whatever that was. He even went to tell her that they would all get together and face the bad things together if it were to happen. She nodded and put up her tiny arms. "I can try and fight." She told him with a wide smile. She was just as tiny as she was when she got here. So, when he told her that it was for big people to keep her safe. She hummed a little and nodded her head. She would be bigger sooner or later and she would be able to help out.

Her mind was still reeling after what they were talking about and of course the monster that she had dreamed about, but her eyes soon locked back on his form moving to stand up. He grabbed his cup and she listened to him talk about going to the rec room. She thought for a moment but nodded her head. She jumped from the seat and followed him to the room he was talking about. She was about to say something when a blanket was over her head. She giggled a little as she removed it and smiled at him. She was in a better mood now. She moved herself to the couch and covered herself with the blanket and glanced up at Azrael once again before glancing down at the tv. He told her to tell him when to stop and she watched for a moment before a show popped on that she liked. "Right here." she said bouncing on the seat a little. She smiled more as she snuggled into the blanket and into the couch a little more. A yawn came to her lips as she started to get a little warmer. And before long she was trying to fight herself with keeping her eyes open.

  2. She couldn't help but be excited about Derrick being there. She was surprised too. She didn't know how her birthday was going to be since she didn't have her father with her. But her siblings were making the best of everything at the moment. Now it was even better with him there. She grinned brightly at the boy and listened to him that that he remembered. She giggled again at his surprise, and she swayed back and forth a little bit giddy at the moment. "OH!" she said with her mouth dropping open. "You got me a cake and a gift!" She was shocked. She walked over to the bed and looked at it. "Wow Derrick this is awesome." she said as she let her finger slide on the cake to get some icing off before sticking it in her mouth. It was something that she was used to doing and she couldn't help it. "Wanna try it?" she questioned him wanting him to try the cake as well. Though her attention went to the gift that was laying next to it. It was wrapped in newspaper but she didn't mind that at all. Everything was perfect in her mind. "Can I open it now?" She questioned him curiously.

  3. Octavia moved her head a little, making her long hair sway with her as she glanced at Derrick. "Oh, and what are these other few things?" she couldn't help but question. She didn't think that Derrick would hide anything from her, but she couldn't help but be a little curious herself. Because she wanted to know everything about her boyfriend. Her eyes widened at the thought of calling him that, it wasn't how she meant it. He's a boy and a friend so it was okay right? She blinked a little as she took a breath and went back smiling at him. She would never tell him that she had called him that in her head. Untelling what he would think about it. She didn't want to ruin her friendship with him at the moment. So that was going to be a hushed enter log.

She could say that things had changed for her since they had grown up. She was loving spending time with him whenever she could, and he didn't seem to mind that either. She glanced at him for a second more before her face flushed a little read and she turned her head. She wouldn't mind him being her boyfriend. She would be able to hold his hand whenever she wanted without having to pull him places. "Yes. I know. But untelling what is going to happen this summer..." she gushed as she watched him go into the cabin and come back out as fast.

She couldn't help but talk about school. Sure. They were out of it, but she couldn't help but want to know what happened in his day. She gave him a pout and pleading look. Her lower lip hung out a little, but she knew that she was fighting a battle that he would surely win. "Pfft." She said throwing her hair over her shoulder faking mad. "Fine you win." she muttered before she grabbed his hand and started pulling him to the archery place. "You know. I'm going to win right." She said throwing a smirk over her shoulder. She couldn't help but laugh as they finally got to the shooting rang. There were a couple other campers there that said hello to the two and maybe even gave the two a curious look. "Right, bow time." she grinned as she went to grab a bow for the both of him. "So, what's the bet here?" She said handing him the bow, letting her hand rest on her hip once again.

  4. Octavia was in her own little mind when Derrick showed up at her side. She turned to him with one of her biggest smiles and started talking about different things to him. It was amazing to have a best friend that was in her classes with you. Growing up with each other was nice. Though when the girls asked about her and him, Octavia couldn't help but blush thinking about it. They had even asked if they were dating or if they could date him which was a no go. She had ended up getting a little mad at the one however, it never did really work out for them in the long run so it was perfect for her.

It had always confused her a little as well when there were boys that wanted to talk to her but Derrick would end up scaring them off. She had always giving him a curious look but never really said anything out of the way to him about it. But she was curious, something that she couldn't help. The way that he laughed at her when she had placed her hands on her hips. "Oh really?" She questioned him now curious about his thinking. "What were you thinking." as asked as she tilted her head to the side.

Once they were at the big house and she was pulling him along with a bright smile on her face. His comment made her laugh a little and shake her head. "Of course we have the time. I just wanted to get the everything!" She told him as she glanced back at him. Her hair flying all over the place. Mainly because she couldn't tame it at all. As they got to his cabin she couldn't help but wait outside his cabin and giggled some. "I know you all don't." She told him. "I just, don't want to get don't stuck in there." She told him honestly. There had been a couple of his brothers that wanted to talk to her none stop, but she didn't want to tell him that.

Soon he was back and they were walking to her cabin and her mind was thinking a mile a minute about different things. She honestly couldn't make up her own mind about what she wanted to focus on first. She blinked at him a little when he said he could come into the cabin but she was already in and out fast as she could be. She couldn't help but blush a little when he pushed some of her hair behind her ear. She bounced a little and smiled at him. She could just hug him, she wanted to but she was a little nervous to. Everything about him made her nervous.

"Ummm." She tapped her finger on her chin and looked around. Where did she want to go? She blinked for a second and then it hit her and she smiled. "Let's go do some archery!" She said grabbing his hand and pulled him along with her. "So how was your last class?" She questioned him curiously since they didn't have it together. They passed some of the campers and they waved at them. The older campers had watched them grow up too. It had always interesting to Octavia about what the others thought about the younger kids growing up finally.

  5. Summer - May 2027 Age: 15

School had ended and she was glad as it was just about time to go to camp. Well, it was time to go to camp. She had waited outside of the school for Derrick. They had grown up together and they were still just as close as they had been when they were eight years old. She wanted him there with her because well, he protected her when things happened. Not that they had many things happen in the school this year. Well besides her reading getting worse. She had thought that it was going to get better but it hadn't. It was hard but she was able to do it. They both opted to go to school in New York so they could get to the camp better. Which worked for them all. They waited and took the cab to the camp and she paid them for dropping them off. She always felt a little sick riding in the cab. But it was the fastest way from the school.

She rushed to the boarders, getting calls from the others that were there watching. She turned to see Derrick walking up and she placed her hands on her hips playfully. "Come on slow poke." She teased him turned to walk up the steps of the big house. She knew where she was going, and went right to it. The kitchens. The first thing that she had seen were the cookies that were placed on the table. She took one and munched into it happily, only when she heard someone clear their throat did she look up. "James." She gushed out as she ran to him. She hadn't seen him in a while. Since he and Rissa keep leaving on trips all the time. She grinned at him and talked for a bit, well until Derrick made his way to the house. She turned to see him and grinned wider before walking over to her friend. "Bye James." She told him with a same wave and grabbed Derricks hand before pulling him through the house to the camp out back. "This whole day seem so long." She pouted to Derrick for a moment, forgetting that she had his hand in hers. They walked to his cabin first and she followed him to the door only to stop for a second. "I'll wait for you out here." She told him, not waiting to step into the cabin at all.

Once he was out, she once again grabbed his hand and pulled him along to her cabin. "Wait right here."  She told him as she bounced on her toes for a second before running into the cabin, placing her things on the bed and heading back out to him. She came to a bouncing stop, her hair flying into her face as she giggled. "So where should we go first?" She asked him curiously as she looked up at him. It was strange since he had grown so much. She liked it though. Though, she liked him. More than she honestly knew and she didn't know what to do about it.

  6. Octavia's attention went to the older campers as they spoke to her. Especially Killian for some reason, his looks had grabbed her attention a little more than Miss Willow had. She blinked and nodded her head some listening with all her might. "You're right." She told him with a happy smile. She was going to be a big sister one of these days and she knew that but right now, she was going to be this younger sister and she didn't like it but she knew that one day in the future would change. She bounced from her toes to her heels for a moment before turned to willow and listened to what she had to say. The older campers were talking about something to do with capture the flag. She blinked a little as she didn't know what he was talking about. "Well..." She began as she looked between the two as she placed a cookie in her mouth. "I think I have some arts and craft to do. Those Iris kids are pretty bossy." She told them as she placed the plate on the table and waved at the before running out the door.

  7. The mess she had made was soon cleaned up by Azrael. He scooped up the mellows from the counter and dropped them into his and his comment made her giggle a little. "You can have them." She smiled at the older man and wiggled in her chair a little. She stopped her wiggling for a moment and took her cup in her hand and took a sip of it and hummed happily at the taste. It was nice to have some something warm in her belly. She glanced back up to Azrael and gave him a slightly sleepy smile. Though she wasn't wanting to go to sleep at the moment. The memory of the nightmare still fresh in her mind.

When he started answering her question she looked at him intently waiting for the answers she was wanting to hear. She honestly wanted him to say that her dreams weren't going to not come true however, it wasn't what he said. He told her that there were some people who dreamed come true and she couldn't help but pout a little at the thought. However, he made the comment about dreams being a way to deal with things and she blinked. "Like what happened to my daddy?" She questioned curious. " With the monster?" She blinked back at the man that was now taken a sip of his own drink. She pulled her drink up to her lips and as she took a gulp she grabbed some mellows with it. Though his next comment about her mind making up stories when she was bored made sense to her as well.

She grinned and nodded her head a little when he told her that it was a great idea to talk about her dreams in a big kitchen, she happened to look around and grinned. "I think I want to." She told him with a small frown. It hard to relive the dream but she was a tough cookie and she had remembered what her father said to her once that it was okay to talk about dreams it made them go away afterwards when she was ready to go to bed. "It was like... the monster.. it was.. well it had so many heads." Her eyes widened for a moment before she glanced down at the cup of hot chocolate. "I had a sword but it was to big for me." she glanced back up at him and puffed out her cheeks. "Finally it grabbed me and I couldn't get away from him then.. then.. it ate me..." there were tears starting to well-up in her eyes.

  8. Octavia couldn't help but smile a little as he told her that he would make her feel happier if she ever felt bad. It was nice to have someone like him around. It was nice to not be the only little one at the camp. she grinned and nodded her head. "Got it. Come to you if I ever feel sad." she grinned happily. The smile hardly ever left her lips. She listened to him explain that they were the youngest and needed to stick together. "Right!" she pumped her little arms and smiled. "Of course we will stick together." She told him as she bounced from her toes to her heels.

She was happy to finally see a smile on Derricks face. Heck, he was even laughing too. Honestly it was the best for him. She glanced at him and smiled at him. He was a wonderful friend to have. She watched him go and find some more rocks and skipping them out into the water. She couldn't help but grin and grab some herself. It was right after she skipped her rock that he posed a question to her. She blinked a little and turned to look at him. He was getting hunrey. "Sure. Think one of the older campers will feed us?" She questioned him curiously. "Or do we need to find James or Azrael?" She blinked some waiting for his answer.

  9. Octavia hummed a little as she listened to Derrick and nodded her head. "Sure. I think James wants to keep an eye on us anyways. Way to many people around." She told him with a small shrug as they walked to the spot where they were going to be sitting and smile at the two holding hands. She didn't know Rissa that well but she noticed that her brother seemed so very happy when she was around. She turned her head to Derrick when he asked about the two. "Maybe." She told him as she eyed the couple again. "They do look a little cosy huh." she tucked some of her hair behind her ear and smiled. "Don't worry I wont go all mushy on you that is gross." she giggled but grabbed his and to pull him down with her into the sand. She smiled brightly when James called back out at her. She couldn't help but wave happily to him. He was the best. However, he puffed out when Killian hadn't spoke to her. It was almost like he had other things on his mind. But why didn't he say something back to her? It was then that Derrick questioned her about who he was. She pouted a little more before she pointed to the tall red headed man and crossed her arms a little. "He is Killian. But apparently he doesn't want to talk." she told him as she blinked back a couple tears. She didn't need to cry over a guy that didn't say anything to her.

  10. Today was her birthday and she was excited about it. She had been telling everyone that she was no longer the baby baby of the of the camp. She was now the same age as Derrick, which was cool to her. They would be the same age for a while now until next year. She giggled as James started braiding her hair. "Soooo.." She started to her big brother earning her a hum from him. "What is there planned today?" she asked only to have him to tell him to tell her he didn't know in a song-ish type voice. She giggled knowing that something was up with him and giggled more when he poked her side.

Once James was done with her hair she bounced off the chair and into her other siblings arms. They had all ended up getting her some craft things for her to do while she wasn't training. She of course loved her siblings and what they did for her. However, James had to meet up with Rissa and he told her that there was going to be a surprise waiting for her in the cabin. So he dropped her off there and she couldn't help but look around for a moment at all the people that were wondering around and walked into the cabin.

She didn't noticed at first but soon the foot steps grabbed her attention and she looked up to find her bed dressed to the t with balloons and other things and standing there next to it was Derrick. A bright smile came to her face as she ran to him and grabbed his hand. "You remembered." she gushed out with excitement as her eyes landed everywhere but finally on him.

  11. She didn't know if she wanted to talk about the monster at the moment, but she knew what Mr. Azrael had said was true. She would have to learn how to deal with it when the time came. Though she still couldn't help but want to go home and be in her own room. If that was still there. She frowned for a moment before she turned to look at Azrael once again.

He had everything out of the counter and to say that Octavia was a little curious was an understatement. She wanted to know what he was doing. She nodded her head understanding a little bit of what he was saying, it still wasn't making that much sense to her but she was getting there right. Little at a time. He looked over to her and she sat a little straighter. She didn't know why but she liked the man. She glanced to her left and opened the cupboard and pulled out some mini marshmallows. "Found them." She smiled happily. She was always happy to help where she needed to. She would make a great mini cabin leader. If James allowed her to do that.

She watched curious as he made the drinks and and smiled when he called her head chef. "Right." she said opening up the bag, only making a couple of marshmallows fall onto the counter. She glanced over to the man and gave him a cheeky smile. "Sorry." She turned the bag on it's side for a moment in each cup adding a couple of marshmallows to each cup. "Do you need more?" She questioned as she glanced up at the man.

She glanced down at her own cup and hummed a little. It smelled really good. She placed her face over the cup and inhaled some more. "It smells yummy." She told him happily before she picked up the cup and took a drink. She placed the cup back down and hummed even more happily. "So good." She grinned and giggled a little. But she knew that they were going to want to know what happened in her dream. "Mrs. Azrael.. do dreams come true?" she asked curious as she stared at cup a little longer before turning to him once again.

  12. There were still tears in her eyes but they were soon coming to an end as they started talking about Derrick. The boy was her best friend even if he didn't know that at the moment. "He's scared isn't he.." she questioned the man curiously. She always thought that Derrick was a pretty tough person. They both had been through some crazy scary things and of course she knew that he could be scared about whatever around her and she wouldn't tease him about it. A small smile came to her face as he talked about him having a true friend here. Well of course she thought that was her.

Soon the big house was right in front of her and she blinked. She didn't remember the walk at all. Maybe because Mr. Azrael had helped her out and made her focus on him. Something that she was really thankful for at the moment because that dream that she had, had scared her to death. She didn't want monsters to come get her.

They moved through the kitchen of the big house and she was sat down on the seat that he pulled out. He began talking to her about Derrick once again and she smiled wiping her face of all the tears that she had shed. "I'm sure he will find himself soon." She told him with a proud tone in her voice. She cared very deeply for the boy. He was her first friend in the camp and for that she would always have a special bond with him. She blind up from her hands and watched the man fiddle around in the cabinets for a moment. She watched curious as he pulled a pot out, with milk and other things and sat them near each other. "I think he would be interesting in fighting." she told the older man with a small smile as she tucked some of her hair behind her ear. "He might need to take his anger out." She blinked and she swung her feet a little giving him an innocent look.

  13. The giggle that came from Octavia was one of excitement. She couldn't believe that she had gotten Derrick of all people to play with her. Not saying that he wouldn't but still. He was slightly moody sometimes. Though lighter when he was around with her. When she stopped he caught her attention and her was so close to her. She giggled again. "Sorry about that." She smiled at him and turned to listen to James but soon he was done and she turned to Derrick with a smile on her face when he asked if she wanted to sit together. "OH of course!" she told him happily as she grabbed his hand and pulled him along the beach till the found the perfect spot. Close to James but not so close at the same time. "James. I'm over here." She told her big brother with a smile before another older man grabbed her attention. "Mr. Killian!" She greeted him with a bright smile.

  14. A laugh came from Octavia as she ran a little faster from the boy the was chasing her around. She and Derrick had started playing tag before the fireworks started working. The kids had no idea that the others were watching them run around, playing around. They were in their own little world at the moment. "You can't get me." She giggled as she took a hard left as her hair swayed around behind her. Today, her sister hadn't gotten the chance to stop her from running around to tie her hair down. So it was a little wild today, not that she cared to much. She turned around and stopped when she heard James clap his head and her attention went to him. He welcomed everyone and she waved at him with a giggle. He was the best big brother ever.

  15. She couldn't help but nod her head when he commented about monsters. She watched through teary eyes as he also nodded his head. Telling her that it was some serious stuff. She didn't want to go back to the cabin and with Azrael here, she didn't think that he would bring her back to the cabin even though her siblings could more than likely make things better for her. She didn't want to go back. She was up now, and she knew that if she got to bed again the dream would end up coming back and she didn't want that either. She glanced up at him as he began talking once again. He said something about going to the big house and letting them know what was going on. She nodded her head. "Okay." She told him with a small smile. Trying to make herself feel a little better but she was still pretty scared about the dream.

As she moved closer to him, he pulled her into a hug and picked her up, which she was thankful for. She didn't want to be on the ground anymore. She just wanted to be held. She was a tiny little girl. The youngest in the camp at the moment. She wrapped her arms around his neck and buried her head in his neck. She didn't want to look at the others that were out at the moment. His talking was something keeping her calm and she liked his voice. She wasn't sure if it reminded her of her father or what but it was nice and she took a deep breath and let it out slowly. Something that her father had told her to do if she ever was crying and couldn't stop. "Okay." she said again, though she was still a little happy that they were heading to the big house at the moment. Meant that she was going to be awake for a little longer now. She needed to clam down a little before she got herself all wound up again. She pulled away from him a little when he brought up her stone skipping. The other little legend was Derrick and she couldn't help but smile more.

"Well," She started with a small voice. "Someone needed to take over.." She ended it with a little giggle but sniffle as she breathed in more. She watched the scene change a little as she watched the big house come into view. "How is Derrick?" she questioned him a little as she was curious about her friend. He was the first person other than James that she allowed herself to get close to. She didn't want him to have nightmares either. They weren't fun at all and she was now a little worried about him.

  16. Octavia listened to what James had to say. Of course she had to, he was her big brother and what he said went right? She smiled warmly at him as they began to talk about the monsters that only came into the camp if they wanted him to. She blinked and shook her head. She didn't want any monsters coming into camp that way she didn't have to worry about being in trouble. That would be a nightmare. But he told her that he would protect her if something like that were to happen. Well, she knew that was a fact because she was still very young. Though when she got older she would be able to figure out that stuff on her own. It would be interesting to see what she was going to do when she got older. Being here all her life would be amazing.

She used her finger to cross her heart and smiled up at him. She wouldn't use it unless she meant it. Which she promised that she would only use it when she was with her best friend if she ever got one that was. She knew that she would later on.

Next was a story because she didn't know if she would be able to speak much more. She snuggled into the bed and placed her hand under her head and the other one under the pillowed and looked up at James as he began to tell her the story of their mothers. Add him playing with her hair and soon she was asleep with the dreams of her mother running around learning all the things that she had known now.

  17. Her breathing was uneven and she could hardly catch it at the moment. It wasn't until she felt someone touch her shoulder that she looked up from her knees and looked into the man's eyes. It was the older camper Azrael. He was Derrick's older brother. She began to cry a little more. Just wanting to be hugged from her father. But he wasn't here. He wasn't even alive anymore. "Mr...Mr. Azrael..." She said sniffing a little as she whipped the wetness from her eyes. "I.." She started but hickuped. "I had a dream... a monster was going to eat me." She told him truthfully she was scared to death. He was James but he would do. She glanced around the camp and noticed that others had come out and were looking at them. "I'm.. I'm sorry.." She told him. "I.. I didn't.." she sniffed once again tears finally falling again. "I didn't want to wake people up." She sobbed quietly as she moved closer to him to hide herself from all the others at the moment.

  18. She noticed his blush but didn't really say anything on it because she didn't know what to say about it so she only smiled at him. "Oh course, so now you have someone to be with when you're sad. I'll make you happy I swear." She told him happily with a bright smile on her face. He agreed and then told her that he would be by her side always as well. "Really!" She grinned more at him. "I would love that." She told him as she bounced on her toes.

When they started throwing the rocks she couldn't help but watch him do it. His first one missed and then she showed him how to do it better and he went along with her. His next rock skipped three times and she opened her mouth. "WOW!" she clapped for him. "Good job, you did it." She told him as she bounced some more. He then came back wanting to do more and she nodded her head. "Of course. Let's go." she giggled as she went on and found some more rocks for them.

  19. The older man thought that it was funny that she thought he was funny and she liked that. At least he wasn't mad at her for thinking that way. "Oh yes." She grinned at the man and giggled a little more. She liked him, he reminded her of her big brother James. She liked that about people. Honestly, she enjoyed being able to talk to other people like this. He told her she was big and she couldn't help but place her hands on her hips and straighten up a little more. "I've always been called small so I'll take that then." She giggled again liking the man a little more now.

"Yup yup." She agreed with him. Ms. Lilythe was pretty much the best. She had gotten to be in her room in her cabin before she was claimed and of course, she was curious to see what else she would be able to get into. She hummed as she bit into her cookie and was just about to say something else when another person arrived in the house. She blinked at the older camper. He seemed to know the older one but not her. So she sent him a slight pout. "My name is Octavia." She told Elijah as he introduced himself. She held out a little hand to him, always happy to meet another person. Soon they all started to talk about their parent and Tavia seemed excited about it. "Wow." She started. So Ms. willow and Mr. Elijah are brother and sister." She grinned happily. "I'm the baby of Tyche cabin nice to meet you all." Her face turned a little. "Well, that is what they call me. I'm not a baby." She crossed her arms in a slight pout again.

  20. ~She was running. Running around the camp, away from the monsters that were after her. She wouldn't get away from them. The only thing that she had was a sword in her hand and it was to big for her to even lift up. She screamed a little as she watched the monster get closer to her. "Oh you unlucky child." it said to her with a hissing noise and went to grab at her, which cause her to duck from the claws of its hands. She turned to run again but this time it grabbed her and brought her up to its face. "A very unlucky child indeed." He hissed just as it opened its mouth and went to eat her. ~

Octavia woke up with a scream. She jumped out of bed and ran out of the cabin to find James but he wasn't anywhere near her. "James!" she called out with tears falling down her face. "JAMES!" she cried more. She didn't care whose attention she got she just needed an older camper to help her out. She needed them to tell her that she was going to be fine and that she was okay that no monsters were going to get her. "anybody." She cried more as she sunk to the ground and brought her knees to her chest. Hiding her face in her knees.

  21. Octavia nodded her head as she listened to Mr. Azrael as he began to think back to when he was around her age. Of course she couldn't help but smile at the older man. "So I can do it if you need me to do something there." She told him with a bright smile. She could crawl around people while they were fighting. The only thing that she would have to do is make sure that she doesn't get caught or stepped on. Right? It would totally work. She glanced back to the other older boy and he was telling her that he could move plants and even talk to the trees however, he tells her he was joking unless he wanted to offend the dryads. She blinked at him and tilted her head. "What is a dryad?" She questioned him curiously.

The younger girl couldn't help but giggled at the fact that Derrick thought the name of the team was funny. She grinned at him and of course she looked back to the older man and giggled more. She didn't care to much about the name of the whole thing. She was eager to help out. That is all that she wanted to do anyways. However, he made the comment about two teams and she couldn't help but tilt her head to the side and glanced over to Derrick before speaking. "What is that?" She questioned him curiously as she was to young to really know what that movie was.

The rest of the time that they were thinking about what they needed to do but Derrick had gummy bears and her attention was on them in a heart beat. She went over to him and sat down next to the younger boy before grabbing some bears and putting them in her mouth. "yummy!" She giggled and looked at the others that were around. He had said something about the rope on one leg thing and she nodded her head thinking about it more. So they had a couple things going on and now they needed to know how to get the flag. "Oh!" She said as she placed another gummy bear in her mouth. What if we." She said pointing to her and Derrick. "make our way around the trees and sneak it out of there while you all are fighting." She blinked thinking about it. It sounded good. Since the sword was a little heavy for her to carry and she didn't want to get to hurt.

  22. Tavia listened closely to Azrael as he told them that they were blessed with luck as well. "Cool." she glanced at Derrick, who she had become fast friends with and smiled at him. They both had talked about their lucky side a couple times and she couldn't help but wonder what all the cabin had in its powers. He said bull headedness but she honestly didn't have a clue what that was at all. "Otay." The younger girl said with a smile knowing that if he was trying to keep them safe then she would try her best at keeping herself out of trouble.

Her mouth dropped open a little as he began telling her that there were others on the other side that could make them see things. She didn't want that to happen at all. She blinked and looked over at her younger friend. Did that mean that they could make her see monsters? She shivered a little thinking about it. No, she didn't want that to happen at all. She nodded her head when he said that they would make a plan. She liked a plan. Honestly that would help her out in the long run. She wanted to make sure that if something happened in the cave that it happened with a plan in tacked. She watched as he started to pull out cans and other goodies and sat them out on the flat rock. She walked over to him, dragging her sword with her along the way, he did say keep it close to her. So, she did.

She watched a little as he made a line in the sand and keep talking. The cans were the flags, okay understood. Each team had one, then he placed down the teams. Cookies and cupcakes. Easy enough to understand at the moment. Then he asked the question about how to steal the soda from team cookie. She looked hard at the board and looked back up him just in time for another person to join them. She went to reach for her sword, forgetting who was all on her team but then she noticed that Azrael hadn't budged from the boy, so maybe he was on their team.

Octavia looked in awe at the older boy and smiled at him when he said that his mom was Demeter. She had no idea who that was but that was pretty cool. He had a godly mom like they all did. She swayed back and forth for a moment before she looked at Azrael once again. But Luca's words grabbed her attention and she blinked a little. "You can move plants!" She blinked and bounced on her toes as she glanced around to Derrick like they had just won the whole game. That was so cool. Then Azrael added in the teleporting cupcake since she had missed that little sentence being in awe of the boy but she couldn't help but grin. "Well, I have luck that is all." she giggled as she looked at the table once again and made a face when she noticed the raisins ewwy. She glanced up at the two older campers and nodded. "I'm small and can fit into any place." She told them her strength. "I used to hide from my dad all the time. He would have to give up before I came out." she told them as she was pretty proud of that fact that she would give her father heart attacks because he couldn't find her.
