  1. Octavia had heard about the game that was about to happen. Her older sister had been braiding her hair for the match, since it always in her face. She opted for two brides and smiled when they were in. Lining up like always, they went to the middle of the place and was told what to do. Her little mind was running a mile a minute when she was handed a helmet and a sword. It was just about as big as she was. Her eyes widened when her attention was caught by Mr. Azrael. He was an older camper and she was pretty sure that he was good friends with her big brother James. Then there was the fact that he was Derricks older brother too. She smiled at him as she bounced over to him. "Mr. Azrael..." she started in her tiny voice. "Do you have any special powers that could help us get the flag?" She questioned him as they walked into the cave.

Her eyes soon landed on the snacks that were being set up and she clapped her hands a little. Liking the idea of being able to eat. She was a little to nervous about the games this morning and she couldn't eat anything. Which was saying a lot. Since the girl loved to eat all the time. She hummed and walked over to get some chips but not before giving Derrick a bright smile as she removed her helmet. She knew that the older camper was just trying to keep them safe from the real game and she understood that.

"People have magic here?" she blinked over to the older camper and was in awe. She had noticed that some of the other campers had different abilities but she never really sat there and just watched them do things. No, her father had told her better.

"OH!" she giggled and stood up with a chip in her mouth. "What if we win the game together." She grinned happily thinking about it. She knew that it was a long shot but couldn't help but want to think it could happen. The two youngest kids going to get the flag from the others. It could totally work.

  2. Octavia tilted her head when he said that he didn't have anyone. "Silly." She grinned and brought her head up right. "You have me." She told him happily. "I'm not going to go anywhere." and she was being honest. She couldn't leave him now and it was the fact that he was around her age. She wanted to be friends with him too. She wanted to be friends with everyone around the camp but again she was still so young so who honestly knew. Their conversation turned to skipping rocks and she shook her head. Not believing him at all. Maybe not everyone had dad like hers. She grinned happily once again as she watched him grab a rock. "Yes.." She started but when he went to throw it it only sunk. Though he laughed and she couldn't help but giggle a well. "So close. Maybe do it a little softer." She said handing him another rock and grabbed herself one as well. "So don't throw it, just flick your wrist." She told him and showed him once more. This time her rock skipped a couple times before it clunked into the water.

  3. Octavia blinked a little when she noticed the look on her brother's face and when he told her that the monster were real she couldn't help but get a little closer to him. She didn't like the monsters at all. She frowned a little, not ready to cry but getting close to it. "Will...will the monsters come into camp?" She commented wanted no need to know what all was going to happen in the camp while she lived there.  He told her that they would have to fight the monsters off and of course, that scared her a little more. She didn't think that she could fight them off at the moment. She didn't know how to fight at all. "Umm.." she started. "Will you teach me how to fight, please? I wanna help get the monsters," she told him with a small smile, though there was pretty much fear in her eyes.

He shook his head and started talking about this river thing. Of course, he told her he wasn't thinking before he said anything and started going on about what it really was and it interested her more than anything. "So... If I swear by it then I'll have to do it even in death?" She blinked trying to see if she understood what he was really saying. Making sure that it made sense to her too.

Having a big brother like James was all that she could hope for. She loved having older siblings around her. It made things less hard for her. Of course, she would have a busy life trying to remember them all. Heck, from what James had told her there were many more to come as well. He offered to read to her or tell her stories of their mom but she didn't know if she could bare to listen to anything more about what she was going to have to remember. "Tell me a story." She told him as she yawned once again.

  4. Octavia's eyes widened a little as she heard the older man start talking. She hadn't heard anyone talk like that before. She blinked before she started giggling herself. "Mister, you sound funny." She giggled more before she turned to the older girl who was now down and her sizes. Oh right. She hadn't even told them her name yet. "Oh, I'm sorry. I'm Octavia. I'm eight years old." She grinned, still a little giggle coming from her as she glanced up at the older man. She still couldn't get over the fact that he sounded so different from what the others sounded like.

She had brought the plate of cookies to them and the man got down on her level as well and she couldn't help but smile. "Oh they are the best. I think Lilythe make them." She told them with a sweet smile on her face. "I don't mind sharing." She said laughing. She was pretty much the sharing and kindest child that there was in the world. Thanks to her father. She couldn't help but smile really big when he told her that James was pretty lucky to have her as a siblings. "You know." She started as she put the plate on the table next to her. "He says the same thing. He said mommy couldn't have pick a better sister." She grinned, though she was curious about the grownups family. "What about you all.. who's your mommy or daddies?" She knew that some of them didn't like talking about it but she couldn't help but ask.

  5. Octavia hummed when he told her that she was lucky to have her siblings. She was pretty sure that she was but she turned to him with a bright smile on her face. "You're lucky too." She told him as she pushed her hair behind her ear. "One of your siblings will make time for you. I'm sure they will." she told him happily. Now, she didn't know how that would really work but she would rub off her luck on him to just see him smile. She couldn't help but giggle as he used her hand to help himself get up. Her mouth dropped open when he told her that he had never skipped rocks before . "Really?" She asked him shocked, "Well, then I'll show you how to do it. Come on." She grinned as she picked up some of the rocks. "You want to get the flat ones like these." She said showing him the flat sides on the rock. "Then you just do this.." She put her arm back and in a fluid motion launched the rock into the water, watching it skip a couple times. "See." She turned to him smile having a bright smile on her face.

  6. Octavia had been pretty excited when she meet most of the new campers. Everything felt like a dream to her but she knew that this was real life, because her big brother James had told her so. She was doing a little of nothing, since the older campers didn't allow her to use the big weapons just yet. Too young they said. Well, she was a demigod like them wasn't she? She could do anything they could do. Right? She puffed up a little as her hair got into her face when one of her siblings told her that the big house had some cookies that she could have. She jumped excitedly, the part where she was mad forgotten this time. Her sibling set her off to the big house and she went happily.

Climbing the stairs, she couldn't help but hear some voices there. She stopped for a second rethinking choice of wanting a cookie at the moment. But her big brother's words came to her mind. Only demigods could come in here. So with that in mind she opened the door and walked through it, her tiny little feet hitting the floor in a fast pace. She stopped in the living room where there were two older people there. Her eyes went wide for a moment. "OH!" She took another step and placed her hands behind her back as she swayed a little. "Welcome." She grinned, she knew that older campers were on their way back to camp as well as new ones coming into the camp as well, but they looked like they were old enough to be claimed already. She glanced around the room when her eyes landed on the table where there sat a plate of cookies. "Oh there they are." she giggled as she walked past the two older campers and grabbed the plate and brought it over to them. She glanced up at them and smiled. "Want one?" she held the plate up a little higher to them. "My big brother James should be here soon." She told them as she took a cookie for herself nibbling on it.

  7. Octavia listened carefully to Lilythe as she did want to know if her godly parent was going to come and see her. And honestly she didn't really get a clear answer from the adults in her life. She sighed a little and nodded at the thought. "Well, maybe I'll get lucky." She told the older camper with a smile. Not really understanding that if she did, it meant that something bad normally was going down. It would take some time before that would happen, maybe when she got older and understood everything more clearly.  Though at the end of there conversation, Lilythe walked to the door and showed her the way out to the bonfire. This was going to be an interesting bonfire.

    End rp.

  8. The young girl couldn't help but nod her head a little as she listened to the older camper. Maybe she would be able to use this to try and get in contact with her father. She would have to see if James would help her out with it, or heck maybe even Dustin would help her out. Maybe there would be something good come out of it in the long run. She smiled happily at the older camper, she already had a mission that she was going to try and get done by the end of the week.

"Yes please." She grinned as she jumped up from the chair with her pennies making the clinging noise that it hit the top of the jar. "So, the bonfire.." She started and she watched for Lilythe to come with her. "Is it where we get claimed by our mommys and daddys?" She blinked up more curious than not. Would this be where she meet her mommy. She honestly didn't know how it was going to happen. Did the gods come down and claim them that way?

  9. Octavia couldn't help but blink a little at he big brothers words. She knew that he was right. She would be stronger when she got older but it was something that she was going to have to work on. "practice and prepare?" She questioned him as she didn't know what he really meant by it. She titled her head when he swore on the rive styx. "Oh what is that?" She questioned once again. The poor girl was full of questions at the moment. Even more so as the days went by.

She put her arms out and he soon picked her up. Which she giggled about. She liked being picked up by people. Even thought she was getting a little older and didn't need it at the moment. She was still pretty little to say the least. "Really our mom likes to see us?" she blinked a little as she looked over to James and smiled brightly. She liked the thought of it. Maybe her mom would want to see her later or something.  She turned her attention back to the game and soon three coins popped up and her big brother began to bounce her and she couldn't help but laugh and the fact that he gave her a new nickname as well. She grinned brightly for a moment before he told her that it was getting closer to her bed time. See, Octavia had a thing about bed times. She didn't like them at all. She pouted at him for a moment before a yawn broke out of her mouth. "But I'm not tired." She told him as she tried to stop another one from coming out.

  10. Octavia shook her head a little and smiled. "No need." She told him with a heavy heart. "We both have been through something so it cant just be me that you're sorry for." She told him with a honest look. She didn't know his story but she was pretty sure that she would find out later on when he felt the need to share with her. It was his next question that made her hum a little. "Well according to my big brother... I don't think we will unless they make it so." she shrugged a little not really understanding it much at all. "I think we'll be lucky enough to get to see them." She told him with a smile on her face. "I think if we get old and after we understand things more they will be able to do more for us." Well that was what she hoped for anyways. He soon agreed to her throwing things into the water and used her hand to help him up. He soon found some rocks which was good because she was excited about throwing things into the water now. "Have you ever skipped a rock before?" She questioned him as they walked over to the rocks he pointed out.

  11. "I'm sorry." She started to whip the tears from her eyes. She didn't want to be sad. But she could remember the talk that she had with James last night. He said that she was to young to go look for her daddy at the moment. Sure she was. But she would get bigger sooner or later. Then they would go and find her dad. "No.. you didn't.." She started as she sighed a little. She didn't mean to start crying, it was just a lot for her to take in and she hadn't really had time to process it at all.  She hummed a little and nodded her head. "Well, I'm a child of a luck god...so I say lucky." She smiled at the boy and when he said it would be weird if they watched them, she couldn't help but think about it. Having people in the sky watching them all the time. She shivered a little before glancing over at him and laughing again. "no, you are right." she told him. "It's strange thinking that they would be watching over us. James said that they had other things to worry about." whatever that meant. She didn't seem to mind at all. She had her siblings with her right now. When he looked down at her, she couldn't help but move her eyes from the sky to look at him again. "Well.." She started and huffed out some air. "I don't really know." She told him honestly. "I don't know what to think about this at all." she blinked and sat up on her bottom again. This time she stood up and held out her hand to him. "Come on, let's throw things into the water." She told him trying to get him off the subject of something she didn't think that she was ever going to understand. She gave him a bright smile and waited for him to grab her hand.

  12. Her little feet began to swing a little more as she watched the older camper do her thing. However, she couldn't help but giggle a little as Lilythe told her that what she said was nice. Well, her daddy had always told her to be kind to people, and the fact that Octavia never lied about things like that. Kids were too honest for their own good sometimes. So, be prepared to know that if there was something that she didn't like, she would have said it in a heartbeat.

The gold coin made her eyes widen. "Oh wow." She grinned as she glanced at it a little longer. Though Lilythe had said something that confused her a little. Iris messages were like phone calls. "So you can hear the other person like on a phone?" She tilted her head a little as she questioned the woman. "Yes, please show me. Maybe I can get ahold of my daddy that way." She sounded happy with herself. Though, she didn't know that her father wasn't around anymore. She hadn't kept up with what Dustin and James had talked about.

She was asked about what else she wanted to see around camp and honestly, she knew nothing about the camp. So of course she wanted to see all of it. Not that it bothered her right at the moment. She was sure that she would be wandering around the place tomorrow after she woke up. "I think.." She started with a small yawn on her face. "I think I can wait till later."

  13. The smile etched on her face as she noticed the one that was on his. She couldn't help but smile when he smiled. Having a big brother was something that she was excited about. "You are, very welcome." She commented back to his thank you. She honestly couldn't help but love the fact that she had older siblings this time. She had been so excited to have them here. Out in the other world, as she called it, she was the only child. She didn't much care about it at all.

The pout was still pretty much on her lip as she watched James talk. He even told her that if she had ever gotten scared that she could come and get him or yell for him. She seemed to understand that much. She blinked a little but the fact that she had remembered her dad after all the excitement that had happened to her in the day was scary to her. "You think I'll be strong enough?" She questioned him as she made it personal promise that she was going to go and find him when she got older. Because right now she was to little and she was pretty sure that she wouldn't be allowed to go even if she asked. "Will.. will you go with me when I'm older?" She questioned him curious.

James waved her over to him and she jumped right off the bed and headed to him, lifting her arms up so that he could pick her up. He wasn't that tall sitting down, but enough that she would still have trouble climbing onto his lap. "Really?" She questioned him happily now. She wasn't allowed to touch them at all with her father and his boss however, now that seemed to not be the case. She blinked and reached for the lever and pulled it. Watching carefully as three coins popped up on the screen. "WOW!" She giggled some and as she made herself a little more comfy in her big brother's lap.

  14. Octavia couldn't help but blink and smile bigger as she heard what Lilythe has said about her smile. "Well, you are very pretty." She told the older lady as she mirrors her smile. Now the child would never lie. She was nothing but bluntly honest with people. She believed what her father had told her. There was no point in lying if it was going to hurt the other person. She watched as Lilythe got off her bed to look at the coin and Octavia couldn't help but smile. "They all have a special meaning to me." She nodded her head and swung her legs a little more in the seat as she put the coin back into the jar she had.

The young girl blinked when Lilythe told her that the Greeks had their own coins. "Really?" She asked curiously as nodded her head that she did want to see one. Were they like the coins that she had or were they different? Could she spend them like normal coins? These questions and more came to her head as she waited for Lilythe to bring out the coin.

  15. Octavia couldn't help but watch the boy a little. She couldn't help but wonder what it was that was in his head. He seemed to be a little hard around the edges but that was nothing. She would be able to get in somehow. It was a question about having bad things happen to her that made her nod her head. "I did. A monster came when I was at work with my dad." She began and her lip came out in a small pout, she wouldn't cry though. "I don't know if he made it out.. if it wasn't for Edan and Dustin I don't know if I would have made it out either." She told him honestly. She couldn't really remember what had happened. She didn't think that she wanted to remember either. The only thing she knew was she ran into Edan and he had picked her up and given her to Dustin who ran out of the building with her while Edan fought the monster along with her dad. She hummed and smiled at him before glancing up at the sky. "Well, I think you are lucky. Same as me." She started, "We both made it here without being eaten by a monster, even if we did lose some people that we were close to." She blinked down at the boy and laid back on the sand. "Nice to meet you, Derrick." She giggled and smiled as she let her hands dig into the sand there. "Do you think they watch us?" She questioned to the boy. "You know our moms?" She let her head move to the side to look at him a little more. She wanted to think so, but her older siblings thought that maybe it wasn't true. But honestly who really knew?

  16. Honest, Octavia had no idea why people's emotions were wacky. Wasn't it awesome to have finally found out where you belonged? She had heard some of the other campers that night saying that they hated she was so young and coming to camp like this. Her daddy might not be here but her mommy claimed her right? She gave her all her siblings. Why were they so upset? She didn't understand that either. She only smiled widely when he told her that they were happy tears. "Good." She said happily as she patted his hair. That was something that she would soon do often to him.

When he told her that she was getting her own bed, she couldn't help but grin brightly at the fact. She had her own bed at home, but it was smaller than these. She only hoped that she didn't fall out of them at night. She bounced on the bed while he pointed to another bed at the other end of the cabin and she frowned a little. "That's far away." She pouted as her bottom lip came out. What happens if she were to have a nightmare? What would her siblings do? She blinked and had tears forming in her eyes for a moment. "What.. what if something comes to get me..." she said as she remembered the monster that was at her fathers' work. Then it hit her. Her blue eyes went wide for a moment. "What about my daddy... did mommy help him?" she was curious as to what happened. Though it wasn't like James would know either, but she didn't know that.

She watched through some tears as he sat next to her bed. There was a machine there that looked just like the ones that were in daddy's work. She blinked a little as she watched him pull the lever and soon the symbols stopped in a row. Monkeys. She couldn't help but giggle a little as the lights started going off and the sounds too. "So cool." She grinned as the tears were still fresh in her eyes. She was just a confused little girl at the moment. Her emotions always get the better of her. "My daddy's work had these. I never got to play them. I was too young." she told him with another pout on her lips.

  17. She watched with a small smile as the man told her that he wasn't sad, but he was happy that she was his sister. Which confused her a little as to why people cried when they were happy. "So happy tears?" She questioned still rather confused about the whole thing. Who cried when they were happy, it didn't make sense to her at all. Maybe one day. But as of right now she was going to let it go.

He soon stopped tickling her and she was pretty much at ease for a moment before they walked into the cabin. At first glance, it was like she was at her father's job once again. Blinking a little she glanced around a little slower this time and smiled. It still looked like her father's work but this time she was sure that she would be able to play the games. The man at her father's work had told her she had to be at least twenty-one. As she looked around more she noticed the lucky charms that were around and all the green. She giggled a little. She was happy to be around people like her. Honestly, she was just happy to have James as her brother.

He stayed silent for a moment before asking her what she thought. "I think it is amazing." She grinned as she bounced in his arms a little earning a couple of looks from the other cabin members. She waved happily at them as well before she was taken to where she was going to sleep. "Oh, I get my own big bed." She giggled more and wiggled her way out of his arms to go and try it out but not before she placed her penny jar on the table next to the bed. She bounced on the bed some, her long hair bouncing with her, but something stopped her. "Oh..." She began. "Where do you sleep?" She questioned him curiously.

  18. It was the look that the boy gave her that made her jump back a little. She blinked back at him and sighed a little, though he did say hi back to her, he seemed confused. She blinked again, turned to look at the water hitting the shore, and brought her knees up to her chest. "Well," She started as she placed her chin on her knees. "Maybe the same reason you are." She said turning her head to look at him once more. "I've been thinking a lot as of late." She told him honestly, she hadn't stopped thinking since she got there. It was a mess and she wanted to make sense of it. "You got claimed too huh. Nemesis?" She questioned him with a small smile. "I was told that we had to be lucky to get claimed so young." She blinked as she let a hand drop to the sand and used her finger to draw something. "I'm Octavia by the way.  Child of Tyche." She said holding out her hand to the boy with a grin. "Just here hoping to make more friends my age." She said with a small smile on her face.

  19. Octavia had an interesting night. She had random dreams about what had happen to her while she was with her father. Honestly, she didn't know if he was alive anymore and that was a lot for an eight year old to think about. She had ended up slipping passed her older siblings and headed off to wander around the camp. She honestly couldn't help herself. It got her mind off her father and on the fact that her mother was a goddess. Tyche. The luck goddess. It was always funny to her that she was always told she was lucky and ended up here. She soon got down the the shore and noticed the boy who ended up getting claimed after she did. He looked to be the same age as she was. So of course she had another friend. Which was going to be nice. She walked over to him, taking a seat next to him. "Hi" She said with a soft tone.

  20. Octavia had a bright smile on her lips as Lilythe greeted her. "It's very nice to meet you too." She said back to her. Her father always told her that it was polite to say back to her because she needed to be nice to everyone. Of course, she couldn't help but be that way because she was little and never had anything bad happen to her anyways. However, the smile never left her face as she showed Lilythe the penny in her hand. "Oh yes." She began with a happy little voice. "This penny was my first one ever." She began as she kicked her feet a little bit more. "Me and my daddy were walking along his work when a funny little man came up to me and told me. I reminded him of a lucky star." She said with a giggle. "Apparently my smile makes me a star." She trailed off her story for a moment. "But he asked my daddy if I could have the penny and of course, my dad didn't mind and I've had it ever since." she ended her story with a nod. "It's the oldest one I got, even the year is old...see?" She took her tiny little finger and pointed at the year on there.

  21. Octavia nodded in agreement about the man. She hadn't know him all the long as she was already some what attached to him. It would be a shame if she wasn't placed in his cabin. Though, she didn't know who her mother was going to be but she was excited either way. She was sure that the cabin mates would love her regardless. She noticed Lilythe telling the others to go away and the young girl seemed to be okay with that. She needed to have some alone time with the older girl. Lilythe told her to sit where ever she liked and she picked the big chair next to the wall. Her little feet dangling off the edge of the seat. "Yeah. Wanna hear about them?" She grinned excited to talk about her pennies that were in her jar. She of course had a favorite one and it normally stayed at the top of all the other ones. She pulled out the penny that she was thinking about and held it out in her hand for Lilythe to see, however, the last bit of the older girls sentence made her 'oh'. "My name is Octavia. I'm eight years old." She grinned more at the thought of having everyone like her.

  22. Octavia was pretty much on cloud nine at the moment. She had been sorted into her cabin and with all people. James. She had been pretty excited about knowing who her mom was now. At the moment she was in James's arms as he had scooped her up after everything was said and done. Honestly, she was getting a little tired and she had gotten herself a little upset at the fact that all her cute little things went away. The only thing that she had gotten was a little coin that she was going to keep in her penny jar. However it was a little different than the pennies she did have. Her eyes went to the cabin as soon as they got there and they went wide. "Wow," she said as she moved her head around to see everything that she could. "It's huge." She grinned more as she turned to look at James who seemed to be crying. "Oh no. Why is big brother sad?" She questioned him. His next comment made her bring her little hand up in the air. "Right. Take care of my family." She cheered and she heard some of the other cabin mates clap with her. He had asked her if she wanted to go in and right before she could answer he started tickling her. "Yesss.." she said giggling a bunch as she tried to move around in his arms.

  23. Octavia couldn't help but look around as she waited for the next person to be claimed. She glanced over to where James had gone and made a mental note that she was going to go over to him when it was time. Which meant after the claiming. However, it seemed that after James sat down something began to glow. It was a green color and she looked all around but couldn't find it until someone appeared at her feet and then on her lap. "Oh?" she said curiously as she lifted the cornucopia up to examine it a little. She giggled a little as the coins began to fall from it. It was then that she heard Lilythe's voice again when she glanced up at her. She talked about James and she glanced over at him with a bright smile. He was her brother. How exciting. "Can I go over and sit there?" She question just in time to see the cabin that James was in waving her over there. They seemed to be excited about having her and she finally found out where she belonged. "Okay." She giggled as she picked up the coins and placed them into the cornucopia and slowly walked her way over to where James had stood up and held his arms open to her. When she got there he picked her up. "Hi, big brother." She said with a happy smile on her face. "Do I get to keep them all?" She questioned with a bright smile on her face. She glanced back over to the bonfire where a boy got claimed and he looked no older that she was. She blinked and turned to James once again. "We little ones are getting claimed."
