  1. Now that the spiders were after Katie she began to back away more from the flag. Well she could say she was being hunted at the moment. Badly. Since no one was at her rescue yet, she began moving towards the other side of the flag away from the demigod who has spiders. Suddenly there was a rope reaching out to her knees, which she quickly dodge but the spider caught on. Nono…. She started placing the salt on her own legs instead. Now that she was free of spiders, and getting herself stable and spider-stress free, she made her attempt to reach the flag again.

  2. Katie wondered if her mother could hear her, even if she could have the slightest feels of her being around would greatly help her defending their team’s flag. She was gathering courage anyhow and even if there were few of them she should be able to keep the flag in place. She watched as James whom she recognised contacted his team as they planned on something. She remembered he had guided her around so she couldn’t afford to hurt him . One of the demigods began appearing and disappearing around attempting to catch them. Ah the effort. The Hecates then cast an invisible wall spell to protect them so that they won’t get too close. She remembered having her penknife in her pocket in case if she needed.

  3. Katie had to stay strong no matter what. More of the red team came, maybe it wasn’t a good idea coming shorthanded. She hadn’t had any tactical plan yet other than spying on them and facing them directly. Gods had plans too don’t they? She was surprised when something small came crawling toward her as if they were intended to attack her only. Ackk, spiders! One of her mother’s misfortunes. Someone really prepared well. But she wasn’t ready to back down just yet. She quickly gather some salt she prepared that would come in handy if there were any leaches in the forest. Athenas were good in battles but insects weren’t their favourites. She backed away a bit and threw the salt onto the spiders as a form of defense, hoping wholeheartedly someone would come for rescue.

  4. Katie wondered if her mother ever cried or feel hopeless at battle before, but she seemed to be outnumbered at the moment. She hoped with whatever courage her mother gave them she could put it to use right now. Oh mum, what should I do?  She waited for the signal to return. Come on team. Just then she sensed someone coming in near the blue flag area and she turned to the direction, catching sight of the intruder .

  5. Katie gave a thought at getting into a hand fight. Since help wasn’t coming any sooner she decided to give it a go.  Alright then.   She hoped all her training could really help her in this combat. Besides she was Athena’s daughter so she had the courage to do so. She held her wooden stick/sword at the Nike child, feeling the adrenaline in her already.

  6. Katie wasn’t going to give in just yet. She managed to send some signals to the blue team who were at the attacker side probably. One thing she learnt that teamwork was priority so they need to be together defending the flag. She was aware of the vines coming towards their legs but she was just in time to dodge them again. Surely there was a way to overcome these spells casted by the Demeter child.

  7. Katie kept calm, it only felt like seconds from when they started spying out the red flag. She knew the blue team would come in rescue anyhow. She pulled out her wooden weapon as well ready anytime. She smiled a bit knowing that she couldn’t be affected by words from the opponent. She only have to wait for some backup from the blue team.

  8. Katie wasn’t ready to lose to the opponent team yet. She informed the rest of the blue team to be prepared with attackers from the red team. She notice the plants moving itself towards her and the team. She quickly dodged away from them. Luckily the Hecates had casted some spells to deflect any kinds of spells away. So they were still safe. She smiled at them staying calm as usual.

  9. Katie kept calm, it only felt like seconds from when they started spying out the red flag. She knew the blue team would come in rescue of the attacker side, but she still had to be ready for combat. She needed just some time to stall the demigod in front of her, for the rest of the blue team to come so they wouldn’t be outnumbered. She sensed there would be more of the red team for backup so she remained her place. They still have some chances left.

  10. Katie was cautious this time, learning from the Hecates and with help from them, the blue flag was casted with a levitation spell, so it will deflect and defend itself from anyone in the red team that touches it. This took time but she and the blue team was there defending the flag. When she heard footsteps coming close to the flag she stepped out, spotting a Demeter child from the red team and stood in front of her intending to stop them from stealing it.

  11. Katie knew her team was already bested by the red team as they were currently outnumbered, and well, the red team had good defense. She had her little sword with her but still she had to grab the flag in some way. She was about to grab it when a Nike child came out of sudden and stood in her way. So it was either a real dogfight or she would not get ahold of the flag. If only she had magic like the Hecates did. ”You guys are really good.” She smiled, actually had no thought of attacking right now since she didn’t like fights at all, but she held tight to her wooden swordlike weapon just in case.

  12. The hiding was still on. Katie managed to picked some thick vines off the ground around her, and refined some wood as a sword like weapon. Really this was her first ever time to craft a rope in a few minutes. At least it was enough to have a weapon of sort. She made a large ending enough to grab the flag from afar. This wasn’t as challenging luckily as she had her Athena blood in her, for she silently prayed to thank her mother for it. Emberlynn came soon after which made her feel most relieved, and told her about a plan to steal the flag. She nodded and before she was even ready Emberlynn made her move. Luckily she wasn’t seen yet. She ducked down and moved towards the tree behind the red flag. She readied the rope she made and prepared for her attack anytime now.

Katie was in the middle of the defensive and offensive side, so she was busy hustling around. Thanks to her light weight she could really run fast and in time. She heard Emberlynn shouted and she turned to see another from the red team, Laney . She couldn’t risk the flag being stolen this time. She quickly checked if the blue flag was still there. She caught sight of Azrael silently grabbing the flag away when the blue team wasn’t aware. Shoot. ”Nooo! Not a chance Mr She nudged Emberlynn and stepped in front of Azrael to stop him from escaping with their flag.

Katie was looking at the Nemesis demigod as she wondered how old he was dindce he looked far older than they were. It was easy to take them down if he had grater strength than both of them girls. Dang this was hard. She made some mental racalling on the war and strategy class she had here, any war tactics they had. “Katie Rose... Nice to meet you.” She recalled seeing very few of the Iris members but really admired their artistic abilities. She was good at craft herself but it was mainly for battles and she hadn’t really been practicing it since camp. They were now two against one for combat if they needed to, but she hoped the other blue team would come as well. No worries though, they had the wits of Athena in the team, even if it was against Ares children.

  15. Katie was defending the blue flag but she thought she could spy on the red flag instead so their team could have more chances of winning this round. As the old folk used to say, ‘divide and conquer’. She hoped her half sibling Zoren or any other from the blue team would come as well since they were short handed at the moment. She managed to slip through the trails leading to the red team silently since she wasn't that tall, 160cm, and found the red flag area. One of the red team member was already there protecting the flag, and the flag seemed to be under protection. Hmm, how would she break it? Maybe one of the Hecates can help. Or she would try crafting some battle tools with something herself. Ack it’s tough.

  16. Katie began clearing up her things left at the space in the lounge. Since they were going out as well but she knew her half siblings would take care of her belongings too. Athena cabin was somehow quite chill and calming, most probably because of their mother who was more logical than emotional, hence they all have similar qualities. That was best in war she heard. And Fireworks beach, she kept it in mind of what her older sibling said. She took out her swimwear from her backpack beside her she brought in case they had water activities. “I brought mine… Ahhh nope not going to be naked today haha.” She turned a little white at her public nude picture, but then chuckled at that thought of Zoren being half nude. Boy, how did he walk back to the cabin? The Hecates have magic don’t they, as she wondered about their ability to change one’s outfit. ”Maybe we should ask them to make new clothes for us sometime, since they’re all magic.” She joked, while thinking of how the Hecates perform magic.

  17. RPC 8.) Follow the trail.

Katie would love to be chilling in the cabins but the flag capturing has already begun and she had to be alert than most days. They weren’t as athletic as Ares and Apollo so she hoped they weren’t going to end up fighting against them. Although she had been training most of the times so she wasn’t afraid that the flag would be stolen that easily, even if she was still new around. She was walking along the forest when she spotted a suspicious trail of footsteps. She managed to be hideous enough and followed all the way. It brought her to the blue team flag and she saw one from the red team and the other from hers. Ah, but they weren’t fighting at all, instead they were having a small chat. She wondered if this was kind of tactic the red team had. Being an Athena was all about strategies and logics, so she was cautious about it. ”Oh hey Emberlynn……need some help?” She recalled the names from the team list the cabin leaders posted, it seemed that she was the same age as the Iris girl. She turned to the Nemesis halfblood with a smile, keeping calm facing the opponent team. Even if it was the games she still didn’t want to make an enemy of anyone here at camp. After all she was a peacemaker.

  18. Katie watched upfront as Zoren talked about his past memory of his father. That made her wonder how her family was doing now. ”that’s nice of him, remembering her like that.” It was odd mentioning their mum since they had the same mother and different fathers, she was still trying to get used to it. She wondered how many men Athena had met and the thought was actually still hard to manage. Somehow she kind of felt guilty by it. ”Cool, but do come back sometimes too. How about some sea sports? I never really checked out the sea area yet.” She thought the sea would be a great place for a hangout as it would be as pretty as the mortal beaches, or what she imagined to be.

  19. ”Yeah I think he’s in better condition now, thanks for asking.” Katie’s family had been taking care of her grandfather so they weren’t short of people at home. And they insisted Katie to be back to camp for her school life and most of all her demigod abilities. She was somehow better at camp as well, it wasn’t convenient to use her abilities among the people. “Aw noo too bad, cant really spend more time with you then haha. She hadn’t met most of her seniors yet as she came to camp around last year. She made sure that she would hang around munger at camp this summer. She wasn’t sure what he was talking about that something was happening, and before she could ask she was distracted to the little figurine that Zoren had brought out. “That’s a cute owl.” She wasn’t sure there was a battle either, but having a lucky pendant did really have some hope and assurance that everything would turn out fine. Athena children were good at battles and strategies as well, so they weren’t always in danger. “Sure, we can take a stroll somewhere.” And then join some activities at the outdoors too maybe. She looked at her half brother in front at the couch awaiting his response.

    @ Zoren Panganiban

  20. Katie had to return to her home for her family to take care of her grandfather who was sick. She also had to be back to clear her room back at home and also to bring to camp. Mom had asked her for groceries shopping so she would be back to camp quite late. At the time when her friend Erowen, the satyr came and reminded her, it was already in the afternoon. She had been in contact with him ever since her first day at camp, and they were getting together all well. Her friend helped with her luggage and they reached camp around evening time. After he left her in the camp she had been resting until she decided to come out to the cabin lounge and do something. She thought of playing chess or read a cookbook, when someone called her. Oh hey @ Zoren Panganiban ! I had to be at home for my grandfather but he’s recovering now. So what have you been up to?”

  21. Katie was enjoying the drink wondering who was in charge of all the food and beverages in the kitchen. She reached for some fruits as well, just as she heard someone calling her. She turned to the voice and recognised a Demeter demigod (Luca) who seemed quite charming and was with the other two demigods (McKayla and Laney). She wasn’t familiar yet with the other cabins but she would love to get to know them. ”Hi I’m Katie. Hmm the cookies are nice aren’t they.” She reached to grab one too. So which god or goddesses were good in cooking?

  22. Katie had been wandering around camp ever since she had settled here. She actually felt contented because her brother was here as well being a demigod like her. She could say that she loved it here where she felt belonged to, having common traits as others. She had been in numerous classes for Athena's little demigods, made a handful of friends. She walked along the lake as it was her free time now, and headed towards the kitchen. It seemed like the kitchen wasn't as crowded as usual today, although she loved to be here whenever her free time as they have the best food, especially food that you can't find in the mortal world. She made her way to the pantry and got a cup of fresh juice, while she looked at a few who were more into the cookies here. She admit that she loved the cookies here more than back home.
