  1. The big house was in sight but he was still keeping the monologue up when Octavia started to pipe up.. Derrick and her "He is still finding his voice. But he is getting there. Plus I heard he has found a true friend at camp, its a good start."

The main door of the big house came into sight, the warm glow from the windows were reassuring as he carried Octavia into the main lobby. It was quiet but he held the little one in one arm and quickly jotted a note down with the other. He turned to one of the straggling follower campers, the note out stretched "To Cabin 19." with a serious look that expected it to be carried out.

As she spoke up he heard her speak about his little brother, maybe he could distract her with a chat about him. He'd worried about him as the youngest of all of the Nemesis cabin and mother gave them a lot of raw emotions to deal with.

He moved through to the kitchen and found one of the big stools around the counter island and pulled it out a little. "He is still trying to find out how he fits.." he carefully placed Octavia down. "..in with cabin Nemesis" he kept talking as he pulled the basics from the cupboards, a pot landed on the stove "but I am still trying to find out" He started to glug the milk out with one hand "what he is interested in" with the other he started to pull bits out of the cupboards. The cocoa powder, a selection of spices and some cinnamon sticks landed next to the cooker.

  2. As she looked up Azrael let out a quiet sigh of relief, she was awake, could recognize him and was responding.. sometimes strange things happen, even within the protection of the camp. "A monster you say.. " he nodded importantly "That's serious stuff." He remembered nightmares before he made it to camp, how best to keep them at bay was not so easy. He never could get back to sleep in his own bed after those, he thought of the cot that the cabin leaders used at the big house hen they needed to keep an eye out or were late on arrivals duty.  "Well, if you are up to it we should let the big house know. They are super good at keeping at eye out that nothing gets near the camp or any of the campers."

As she moved closer, Azrael pulled Octavia close into a hug and lifted her up so he could carry her. He was surprised at how light she felt as he lifted her up and held her safe against him. He knew he couldn't stop the tears but he could see if he could find some way to get her a little comfort.  "..plus I think we need to get somewhere bright and where I can make us some hot chocolate." he kept talking, as much to give her something to listen to as he started to head for the big house.
"So I hear from another little legend that you are headed for stone skipping champion of the camp, I remember when the big important camp directing cabin leader Rayne was learning to skip stones.." he as ready to keep talking, a way to fill the void a nightmare always left behind.

He thought ahead as he talked into the darkness, thinking to make sure he sent a runner with a note to James to make sure he knew everything as okay and thinking through a plan involving a brightly lit kitchen, a search to find whipping cream, plus marshmallows and hopefully a chance for a young lady to recover.

  3. Azrael knew better than to keep checking on his opposition, he would win or lose based on his own actions. The two could not have shown different approaches, the child of nemesis was through, following a path he had analysed, steady and strong, ready for any shift of the wall. He knew the children of Hermes could scamper out of the way of trouble like a mountain goat, and were about as predictable in their path.

He got into the zone, pick the next point, stretch and grab, follow up with solid footing and keep a steady momentum. He hadn't done this in years but Rome had kept him limber and in peak fitness and his muscle memory of this task kicked in. Careful to note the movements above him in the rock face, predicting and preparing for each boulder, each threat of a lava flow.

He finally dragged himself to the top and pulled himself up to standing, the brightness of the sun and the sea breeze off long island sound hitting him, enough of a prize for him in his own challenge. He took a look over to the other wall to see how team Hermes had gotten on with the challenges.

  4. As their foreheads slowly moved apart he took the time to look directly into her eyes. "And probably fully deserving of it. I will make this work though.." He had taken the time to think this one through, every other possibility lead to fighting, either or both of them wounded or worse dead and nothing but pain and heartache for Lilythe. He released this was what they had meant when they say 'take your destiny in your own hands'.. this was his way to try to shift the way this story had been threatening to end. He just wasn't sure if all the good gestures in the world could bridge this rift.

He looked at her, as she checked about the party. It was the reason he planned the journey across the country and back once more, but he couldn't tell her why, if he couldn't convince Vienna to come visit  or she were busy with classes or something Lithe would be hurt for her hopes to rise so much and then be crashed down. He spoke "One trip. There and back. I won't let all the monsters in the states stop me from getting back." he was always wary of how much of a promise he could make in the world but he would be damned if anything was going to hold him back from returning to the camp. He started to gather the stone working tools, planning to move his current block out of the way and safe of marauding campers, he might even get it finished for her birthday, he did need an actual gift to give her. "I have done my time with Rome, that part of my life is over, I just need to close the door on it." he stood and looked at her "I will be at your party, assuming I still get an invite."

  5. Azrael realized that New Rome was still not a big part of the lives of the younger campers as it as pretty much a parallel between Camp Jupiter and Camp Half Blood.

"You know how the Greek gods and the Roman gods are pretty close.. like if they changed hats they would look and act pretty similar. Well there is a second camp for the roman kids over on the other side of the country" he hoped that the gods didn't mind his creative licence on their changing roles and personas. "But their camp is a bit bigger with schools and things for adults. but they don't have a fleece like half blood does so their kids do a lot more defending from monsters." He hoped he as making enough sense without going into too much detail for Derrick, he realized back in the day he would have been the quiet kid so he didn't really know how to talk to another, even after all these years.

He thought through hat else would be interesting, pulling out his camp necklace, with its charms for each of his years at the camp he continued "In the same kind of way that campers over here get a necklace, the campers over there get a tattoo when they prove themselves." He pulled back his long sleeve to show a brand on his upper arm, a roman set of letters, SPQR, a pair of vertical bars and a decoration around the outside, in this case a laurel wreath and whip intertwined. "The gods give you this in the same wat we get the charms" He pulled the sleeve back down.

"I have heard about Octavia. Only good things. She's James' little sister right?" he realized having friends at camp as definitely encouraged, especially between cabins. "Nice, I remember doing that with Camp Director Rayne back in the day." he leaned in close "I think those Hermes kids get all that godly flexibility to make them super good at it". He grinned as much remembering the old days, he knew she was just naturally talented but he had put in so long trying to at least match her skills. "She could always find the best stones, a good flat one but not quite round, so you get a good grip for that spin."

Hearing Derrick talk about the rest of the cabin he realized that unless something was done it might never change. He tried to remember ho had been cabin leader last, but that had been four years and a camp life ago.. "Want to help me start getting the cabin talking and interacting a bit more?" he thought through the various bits and pieces that might occupy them without cutting in on the territory of their actual lessons, there was a good amount of space out the back of the cabins that they could use and no one would miss a couple of the archery targets if he made new wooden shielding for them...  "Hmmm... How do you feel about us adding an Axe throwing range out back?"

  6. He thought about it, he wasn't even sure he had something to teach, a skill the campers would hear and pick up, he had worn many hats over the years but never really imparting knowledge, plus he had only just gotten to know the rest of cabin 16 "I might need to get to know my cabin a bit more before I think about that one".

He knew she was still worried about him staying, it was why he had made the point to speak to her, make sure he wasn't planning on leaving her life any time soon. "I will. I just need to pick up the last of my ties to the place. I will be back"

Azrael had known what he was doing when he made that promise. If he was here then something major had to change, Shadow had tried to wager the future on the field and he had been hard pressed not to see the chance that it would have given. Though he had seen the folly of it, this way he could not be tempted. One way or another Azrael would put this rivalry behind him.

As Lilythe slowly stood he was unsure if he had gone too far, he had promised no friendship but would at least avoid bloodshed, but he knew how often she had seen that oath taken and what risks had been spoken in the darkest corners of Olympus if it were broken. She had faced down monsters and giants in the wars but it was rare he had seen that look directed his way, he could feel the anger radiating on each step. Only when she stood next to him could he really see the storm of emotion within her, the anger giving way to sadness, and as she kissed him, he knew love..

As the two parted and she found her words, he responded with a smile "I guess I just need to keep my word then"

well, that was the easy part, now to live up to that promise..

  7. Azrael was relieved she had come up with some kind of solution, he had known that some of the cabin leaders were still away and with Chiron still being away he had wanted to offer. Realizing that straying into the territory or the Cabin Leaders would be more than a little insulting. "I appreciate you finding some time up at the big house. I just have never been good at sitting idle."

He had known her birthday was coming up and had spent more than a little time trying to work out what he could organize, she was not materialistic and could get anything she needed to run a camp. The only thing that had come near through all his thoughts had been friends. He strode on with this topic as much to keep from the tough conversation ahead as anything else. He would like to see Vee again but he knew that Lithe would be overjoyed, assuming she had made it through the year's studies in the end.. "I wanted to let you know I am headed back to New Rome to sort out the last few bits I left behind. I know I said i was here to stay and I didn't want to do anything that might look otherwise."

Azrael nodded beginning to get an understanding of how much this meant to her - sure he had in some ways known it but here she was standing before him asking him to do this for her, just how important it was. "A bond was not part of my offerings, though to the rest I will hold myself to" he reiterated, "I shall not strike him with a blade, will not seek petty arguments with the man, will try to find that common ground" he finished with "I swear it by the river Styx."

  8. Azrael had let his frustrations get the better of him in that game, his own insecurities and plans that had gone astray. Looking back he could see it, he had taken risks that could have resulted in so much, risk of injury, heck he had thought for a while there he misplaced the kids away from camp for weeks. He took the time to accept that even without Shadow he hadn't shown the aspects that he had aimed for.

What was he doing, he realized he hadn't had a chance to really explain that since he never did catch up with the camp directors. He didn't know the easiest way to put it into words "I came back to.. " he thought it through for a moment "to see how I could help. Camp Jupiter and New Rome were never really home. Dad is still moving around giving legal aid. I finished studying and came back to one place I had really felt like that." He knew who he meant as much as where now, what that unknown longing had turned out, but he didn't want to cause her more turmoil as he knew that whatever they were or could be was still in a delicate, early stage.

"Whatever we are, New York will forever be in my heart" he said solemnly. It had been everything he had ever dreamed of. It had been like Vee had always said.. still a damned penguin.

"Its not about the traditions, the camp has changed over the years and that has been for the better. We are no longer in a warzone and the kids get to have some time being kids again. Maybe its me that is still in that old camp. I think that was what I had hoped to talk to you about."

"I am looking to find a way to be useful here, I see you taking the campers for survival lessons, I looked in on Dustin training blades in the arena, hell I am signing myself up for more of James' creature lore classes, I forgot how patient that man is. But I don't feel like I have really been able to contribute since I got back. I wanted to know if there were any duties at camp I could help with until the other cabin leaders came back." he knew he wasn't a teacher by trade but his time with the campers had opened him up a lot more than he had expected, realizing there was a lot they could teach him that he hadn't gotten in his time at the camp the first time around. "Or seeing how we have found more year rounders, if there are any more mundane schooling you need prepared." Azrael had never really gotten on well with school in the old days, he had been grateful that Greek words hadn't jumped around for him when he had arrived in the old days. Camp Jupiter had given him a chance to keep learning, their options more open and he had fell upon studies almost as heavily as his physical regimes.

As the topic of conversation turned to Shadow his eyes fell pensively on the stone block in front of him. You chip away everything that isn't the piece of art... he sighed "What if there is nothing to uncover there, no common ground?" he sighed he could feel the rawness and hurt through her voice. "But say the word and I will not raise a blade against him, will hold my tongue, will search for some olive branch that might lessen the damage there..." she knew him as he knew her, should she ask it he would turn all of his attention to the task, whether it would even be possible.

  9. "That wasn't my thought" to be honest he had had and discounted this and many other thoughts for a gift, she wasn't that kind of materialistic type of person. "And others would craft it better if it were. I just use this as a way to bring some of that balance back."

"You sent us into a childs game with childrens rules..  How did you expect us to play the game." He sighed. "Look, I tried to step aside but every uninjured camper takes to the field, that's the rule you kept." He knew that the risks had been rising throughout that game, the longer it went on and the darker times became. Maybe he should have walked from the field but he was pretty sure he would be having the opposite debate right now if he had.

"I tried to keep the young ones okay but even just drawing blades on the kids felt wrong." he deflated "Not like actual lessons". He turned putting down the tools to look at her. "I apologise though, I shouldn't have let his taunts get to me. Should have left it to the kids to play the game" he had always been one for the rules, you play meant you played. Now he saw that not pulling the blade, to protect and shelter the youths should have been enough of a role for the game.

"That was why I had wanted to speak to you though, to see how I could help, if there were lessons needing taken" he said quietly. "If I am going to fit in here I should make myself useful somehow. Though now I am thinking I will end up scrubbing dishes with the harpies.." he knew the stunt at the flag had hurt his position but he had spent the last few weeks getting to know the camp again, but felt more like a guest taking the tour than even his time unclaimed had been.

  10. She had been everything he desired in a woman, had been that woman for so many years. He let the emotions all flow over him, consume him, drive him. Nothing beyond the two of them mattered to him in that moment and she pulled him into down and into her kiss as she nipped at his lower lip pushed back twisting from her grip and kissing deeply to repay the act in kind. His hand wove into her hair as the kiss continued, both wanting all the other could give.

He was still standing at the edge of the bed but his chest pressed against hers and the feeling of his skin on hers drove him, his voice deep and raw he growled into her ear "I need you".  He pulled her close, bodies grinding together His cock rubbing against her, he could feel how aroused, how wet, how much she wanted him in that moment as his head rubbed back and forth.

His other hand slipped down to her ass, he grasped her check as he slowly let his weight push down upon her, using his hand to guider her ass, feeling the tip of his cock sliding, rubbing against her lips. He buried his head into her neck, tasting, feeling, needing her. He let out a guttural moan as he slowly raked nails down from her neck and his weight upon her pushed the tip of his cock inside of her as she arched under him.

  11. Azrael had been taking a walk in the night, deliberating on his place in the camp. He had just passed the Tyche cabin when he heard the door slam behind him. He turned quickly, worried for some kind of troubles had invaded the camp. When he saw the young figure shouting though his heart went out to her, his feet soon followed.

Seeing her eyes open, looking around panicking he bent down on a knee in front of her, getting to her level, placing hands open in front of her "It's okay" He didn't want to startle her but seeing her head down he moved a hand up to her shoulder to give her some comfort and see if she could respond.. "What happened and we can fix it"

He ran through the options in his head, Apollo if it was an affliction, Hypnos if it was dreams.. but for now none of that was Nemesis so he just tried to be there for her.

  12. Azrael had thought to take the initiative to speak to Lilythe, there had been a lot going on recently, some of it life changingly good and some much less so. He knew the camp well enough but trying to work out where to go for this had been harder. Anything too strenuous would get in the way of conversation, The wall as out, and the archery range would have too many interruptions. The idea of trying to have a conversation in the Amphitheater wold call all eyes to them and at this point he had reservations of blades with the arena.

He had opted to suggest meeting early in the day at the Arts and Crafts Center, early enough that casual campers wouldn't be there and this morning no classes were planned. He made sure there were supplies and pieces, off to one side of his station were enough for the various crafts, easels, paints, clay. He had never really excelled at any of these things at camp before but he was gaining a new perspective of these kind of activities, something to be enjoyed rather than just another skill to train and master, he was slowly coming to like the fact that there were no wrong answers, just creative interpretations.

Azrael had been here since dawn broke, a chance to find some solace and actually think things through. He had tried to come up with a strategy, a tactical method of the conversation but he knew in his heart he wanted to get a chance to speak to her, without the pressure or any more strings attached. He had a simple stool setup in front of a partially worked block of stone, edges had been cut but the shape was still a long way from complete. He took up a flat chisel along with his hammer and gently started on a corner as he waited for her. Nerves clashed with anticipation but he took the time to focus them and with a delicate tap, direct them them through the hammer, into the chisel and dissipate them through the stone.

  13. Azrael had been on his guard for magic and lethal strikes but even when magics entered the field they were to bi-pass him, simple testing forays rather than full offenses. Enough that he could interpose himself but he was waiting for a true shot instead of each of these feints.. he was reminded of his own scouting of the flags earlier in the day, he would not let his guard down but the possibility that Shadow was still just looking for the flag began to cross his mind.

He felt the jibe on the dessert loss punishment land as he saw the hint of sourness cross Shadows face. He had never felt that it was the fairest, meant to make sure campers knew worst case your life could be on the line at camp but it seemed a slap in the face for anyone that ended up maimed or worse.

He didn't need to hear what the goal would be for this Win/Lose scenario. He took the time to state his objection loudly "I made a promise to someone very dear to me I was back for good. I wouldn't risk that for all the wagers in the heavens." he silently thanked Lilythe for that one, he would have felt it hard to back away from sure a balancing of the scales. He knew the kids were capable on both sides of this but he also didn't want to bring the youths into a bet like this, assuming he had meant the match at all.

He took the time to shirk the long coat he had been using preferring the mobility to intercept him over the small amount more defence it granted him. Beneath it showed a wiry, solid frame with scars of recent years, a few cuts and an impressive sized bite mark over one shoulder. The other shoulder brandished what looked like a fresh tattoo, glistening in the afternoon light, the letters SPQR, circled in a laurel wreath with a whip making a border.

He flexed his front blade arm and spoke "You can try to take your pound of flesh though.. I can even make sure get my dessert rights for the week. I would hate for you to miss out" he said while taking an assessing eye over his opponent's physique "though it doesn't look like you have been going without recently.."

  14. Azrael took the moment to check the clearing, he hated this wretch but he remembered this place was filled with campers, kids and that the flag itself still stood proud and in plain sight. Whether he had trouble meeting Shadow's eyes for the moment or was just assessing the grounds it was visible that Shadow had scored a point there. Shadow had no claim on innocence but Azrael's actions that day had lead to the near fatal injury and he had nothing against the man that would have held up in a court of law, though his suspicions were rife.

"I never set out to kill you. If I had you would have felt more than just the flat of my blade before you hit the ground." If I intend to kill anyone then I will face off against them directly. He looked deeper at Shadow as he pulled his blade  "Just like then I can feel the wrath you feel bubbling beneath the surface. Helped me pick you out of the mists, not that I could tell how little you had paid attention in classes on how to take a fall." It was good that he had chosen a weapon, It leant he was at least maintaining the charade of the flag game, even if that blade looked to have occult significance, he tried to note details of it for later investigation.

He was fed up of the verbal shots that Shadow had tried to goad him with, in similar spite he added "Oh but I felt so much sorrow from my week without dessert rations. But somehow I too survived"

"I also hate to break it to you but this place is my home as much as any other of us who fought to defend it" he couldn't recall if Shadow had been on hand to defend the camp during the second war... though if he had it would have been skulking in the shadows themselves.

He moved to make sure he was between shadow and the flag. The game had just started after all.

  15. Azrael took the moment to savour that moment, she was in his arms and was everything he could desire. He took the time to pull her close once more. kissing her lips, their tongues met in ecstatic motion. As they took the moment to breathe, she whispered into his ear "I'm not going to stop you tonight."

This catalysed him into motion, he hadn't realized that a part of him had been holding back, careful not to push her beyond where she as willing to go. But with her consent and encouragement he let his emotions truly drive him as there was nothing in this world that he wanted more. his fingers laced together at her ass as he pulled her upwards from the ground, bringing them eye to eye as their lips locked.

Holding her up, they kissed, both hungering for one another and driving one another to greater levels of need. He took the couple of steps to the bed and without losing contact with her lips lay her down onto the bed. He felt the wild heat inside of him as he began to reach to one side and ran his nails up a thigh, tracing down her calf to pull her shoe and unceremoniously drop it to the floor. The other fell in similar rapidity.

He stood for the moment to let his underwear drop to the floor, he leant in with the intent to unburden Lilythe of hers. His hands moved up to her sides, just brushing her breasts as his nails trailed down her sides. As he caught the fabric on each side he grabbed and pulled, pulling them downwards but also using the motion to drag her to the edge of the bed. The panties dropping to join the other discarded clothing.

  16. "There was never much in there to damage." he bit back. he felt the venom in his tone when he mockingly used the term friend. He had never liked the self serving punk anyway, as if that barb would catch beneath his skin.

He had long since came to terms with how he had managed to cut shadow down on that rain covered dark night. He had used all the luck to strike out through illusions and veils to strike out and block the flag. It seemed mother's gifts drove his thirst for vengeance as much as his strike true and he had owned his actions that day. Shadow on the other hand still looked for someone to blame for every action that did not match the strings he pulled.

Lilythe was her own person, if he couldn't see that he knew nothing about her. Her choices were not playthings to be toyed with.. He gritted his teeth and bit back the anger that welled in him at Shadows petty selfishness.

"You want to blame me for your own shortcomings? I left before I did something I regretted." he twisted the blades in his grip "Maybe it wouldn't have been much of a regret after all"

  17. Azrael growled in frustration as Shadow stood his ground "You hurt everyone around you." he yelled "She's is better off with someone who doesn't treat her like a treasure to capture and lock away." He fell into a crouched position, one blade ahead and in a tensed grip to one side read to strike, ready for magical assaults and illusions and preparing to call on the luck of Nemesis to let him strike true. "You are toxic to everyone and everything you touch."

  18. The game forgotten, the bitter feeling flared within him. He circled the blades in his hands as much to keep active and to avoid the goads.

"You were always self serving and selfish. You likely forget the hexes you were trying that day." he said looking back sternly at him. "Play the victim while you scheme and look for a back to leave the dagger in".

He was sure that the final barb was just an attempt to goad him into lunging at him but it too all he had not to be pulled into it. He stared daggers out at him, this was no longer a game and if he wanted a challenge then he would have one. Azrael began to close the distance as they circled, the flag no longer the main thing on his mind. He would not lash out blindly but he worked towards a position of advantage, readying his blades.

  19. Azrael held her close to him, feeling every movement of her body as he pulled her tight to him. With her back to his chest, where they touched he could feel the energy and emotion running up his nerves.. He had thought of this moment so many times but it was nothing like he had imagined, raw animalistic urges he hadn't realized he could feel consumed, more than guided, his thoughts.

As he heard that one word slip from her lips it was like fire through him, as he began to nip and kiss down from the top of her spine, along the ridge of her neck. The hand that had been on her stomach began to travel lower beneath the dress. The tips of his fingers brushed against the cloth of her underwear, he ran his hand just beneath the seam as his teeth found the shoulder of her dress and not so gently pulled it from her shoulder.

The tip of his finger found her nipple and circled it, the moan she made was audible and drove him wild. With a guttural growling moan of his own, his fingers pushed down and against her, his hand pulled back against her, grinding her against him. His cock so hard through the light boxers and the dress between them.

The dress, though it looked divine on her had had its time, he once more spun her around, this time nudging the white strap from her shoulder and as they were face to face he pulled her into a long, deep, breathless kiss. His tongue found hers as the dress landed on the floor and his hand found her ass, and pulled her close to fill the space between them.

  20. All pretence of games and clever wordplay left him as he heard that voice cut through the clearing. He had not seen any of the children of Hecate enter the field and now that the midday sun had started to lose its glare he worried about how long play would continue for and when the dark fell.

He had his blades ready, settling a trained combat stance and assessing his rival. He looked for blades, weapons preparations, actually hoping for blades as that would mean he would more likely be playing the game over otherworldly blasts. He was fortunate this time it was not on a windy rocky precipice of Zeus' fist.

He started to look around for others, Shadow has always had a flair for the dramatic, for the audience and if there were other campers then they should show a good face. Azrael started to slowly circle , aiming to interpose himself in defence of the flag, all the while not taking his eyes away.

"I don't see us talking on any other terms" he said coldly.. cautious for any magical trickery or danger.

  21. Azrael grinned at the retreating Rainbow colors and that Katie had managed to find a way to dodge back with her without losing a limb. He had begun to realize this was as much a game of looking out for these kinds, on both sides, as it was the simple wargame of old. This was also a chance that he had not had waiting around the camp to actually talk to, plan alongside, and get some insight into these kids lives beyond the standard cookie cutter camper views. He wasn't the teacher type like James or just knew how to get a smile out of anyone like Lilythe but maybe he could find a way to help out the camp like they did. I guess time will tell.

He went to retrieve the flag, ready to trek out once more to setup a base camp and see what challenges he could give them this time around.

  22. Azrael stood not ten feet from the flag, he had place himself just downwind of the position using his mundane skills to prepare himself for any incoming blue team members. Seeming how one of the Athena campers had almost got mauled by one of cabin hephestus' creation. He would have to be cautious none of them actually took a solid injury.

Whether it was from scent or sound though,  Azrael looked up at a movement in the undergrowth. It took all of his a active thoughts to overcome years of reflexes and training, not to dash out with blades and roll into combat. This was just a game with the kids to teach them basic life skills. "Halt, who goes there. Friend or foe"

  23. As he pulled her from the bed she pulled him into the kiss and he reciprocated leaning into her, needing her, hungering for her. As her hands traced his bare chest , his hands circled her to pull her closer, deeper, his finger sliding into the hair of her neck, pulling her deeper into the kiss, the other hand sliding down her back.

As she pulled his belt aside he breathed in deeply of her, the scent that had been a turn on each time he had caught a sense of it, filling him, his hand sliding into the folds of the cloth , finding the belt that held the waves of white cloth so tightly around her. She nipped at his lip and it sent him crazy with need of her now, in that very moment. Instead of searching in kind for a buckle, he instead grabbed the strap, pulling her against him, grinding against her through the pants he still wore as he buried his head into her neck. he lost himself in the moment, pressed against her, kissing, suckling, nipping at her neck.

The hand that had been on her neck pulled nails along her back, desperate to feel her arch under his touch, to feel her neck move and stretch beneath his mouth, his tongue. As his hand felt for a buckle he moved his head up so that his lips were at her ear. In a deep rasping voice, filled with wanton desire "I have no need words.." With that he nuzzled closer and kissed the inside of her neck, finding the tip of her earlobe and nipping at it. He pulled at the belt, levering it from its securing loop and through a cloud of burning desire pulled it from its bindings, to loosen and drop around her.

As the belt fell to the ground he pulled her around so her back was to him, against him, to feel the fullness of his desire for her. He buried his head into and around her hair to lay deep kisses at the nape of her neck, his hands searching through the now flowing cloth one hand against her stomach, pulling her closer to him, the other running across her flesh, feeling and cupping her breast. In a desperate need to keep her in his arms, he started to pull the pants down one foot upon the hem, thankful Lithe had removed the belt.

  24. He helped her up from her seat and into a close embrace, he quietly whispered into ear suggestively "You are as always a font of sensible suggestions". He held out an arm to her once more to walk side by side on the way to the hotel. He took the time to breathe deeply, trying to still the sense of butterflies that had his pulse racing, was nerves or just how deep his want for this woman went.

As he lead them up to the hotel room, he took the time to make surer she was settled in the bed, he held her face between his two hands and kissed her deeply.. he held the kiss for a two seconds.. three.. before stepping a few paces back to smile at her.

"So, last I heard you had been looking for more reconnaissance on me." he said with a grin as he unfastened the suit jacket "I left to study law in New Rome, trying to find a source of balance and to help people" slowly pulling himself out of the suit jacket and dropping it to one side.

"so many classes, so much time in the senate and around the camp learning to speak for those who don't have a voice" slowly unknotted the black bowtie from around his neck "A very roman way of doing things" dropping the tie to one side.

"But I couldn't quite sit out the defence of the camp. No matter which camp I was in" he said running down the buttons one at a time of the dress shirt. "So I took patrols, guard shifts, ways to use up the hours between classes, study and sleep." He pulled open the shirt revealing the scars left by a large bite wound over his left shoulder. "Two years back this one was from a hydra attack on the camp, you really change your mind about them losing heads when they have their jaws around you" he said as he pulled an arm out from the shirt, making sure to still keep his camp necklace in place in place.

As he pulled the shirt aside there were less impressive scars from various monsters but the less expected marking was one of ink on his upper arm, the letters S P Q R with a laurels and the coils of a whip encircling it, beneath it were a pair of vertical bars. "In return for some impressive tooth marks, the heavens added one more mark. the cost of helping out." He looked into her eyes, as he stripped away anything he could think of that might have been left unsaid between them.

He stood before her chest bared "I stand bare before you and would tell you anything you wished of me" he said with solemn resolve. He looked down at her, making sure he had not by action or word done anything that would change her position.

He held out a hand towards her, a gesture of openness but also one to join him in an embrace and to see where the night would lead; the flames of lust, want and desire still burning within his gaze upon her...
