This is really a mess, how do we get a flag in all of this. The red team guys are strong, but never as strong as us. She started attacking whoever she could with her spear whirling around the battlefield, but in reality, she really couldn't wait for someone else to show up or just for Emberlynn to make a full recovery. Trying not to be seen in all that mess she walked over to the flag, after all this could also serve as a distraction. She looked at the red light in the sky, it still shone very brightly, maybe more than before. "Emberlynn how long do you think the light will last?" she asked in a low and soft, yet hurried voice trying not to be heard by the others and she turned to look at the girl while she still ran to reach the red flag, there were some guys who protected her, but a good fight in the open field never hurts .

The big ole Irish man was one who loved to play capture the flag!!!! It got his blood pumping as it brought out the competitive side of many who normally sat by the sidelines. He too loves to show off his strength and skill as a fighter. It was only a year ago that he save willow….his fair maiden! Or he wished she would be! Well for now he was walking in the woods when he stopped as he noticed Annie and emberlynn trying to take the flag. Smirking he ran up ready to stop them in any way possible.

"But how is there nobody who wants to fight? Oh well, better for me" Annie kept running towards the flag as if nothing had happened and tried to create jerky walls of ice behind her so as not to let others arrive. At one point she tripped on the grass hurting her foot, but she tried to pull herself together using the cold from her hand as a quick healer. She wanted to get there first, but out of the corner of her eye she saw other people as well.

After a few meters he reached the flag and looked around to see if anyone had come out of the woods, but no one could be seen, yet there was rustling in the forest, he turned abruptly, but still no one.

Liam could tell that the other team was not going to leave without a fight...which he admired. He was ready for a fight any day of the week....that was how the ares cabin was built for war! Liam was keeping his eyes on rainbow bright but then her friend which was the ice queen. Was talking to her.....oh she must have a plan he thought to himself. No worries he was strong and brave enough for the whole red team if need be!!!! That was when he noticed Killian "Ahhhh the big ole irish man has shown up....good! Help me take on this ice queen" he said with a smirk. His eyes then going back to Anniem waiting to see what she had in store for him. If it was war they wanted then it was war he would give them!!!!!!!!

She had been right about looking around: coincidentally, as soon as she put a hand on the flag, a boy from Ares immediately came out accompanied by another older one. Not that she knew them but surely they just wanted war, the sentiment seemed shared by both teams. Her hand moved from the flagpole to the ground and she felt the cool grass to the touch, she crouched down but this made her wince in pain that surely the two males had seen, no, she had to concentrate. "Hey, Warlord! You won't take me without  fighting ...let's see how you do." She smiled madly and liked this game. She suddenly froze the ground near the flag making it slippery.

Rebecca smirked enjoying the entire show as her team was fighting against the other. She didn’t waste any time and was still shooting paints balls! She can’t shoot arrows or they might actually hurt them or worse kill right? She then headed towards Liam and Killian to help them against the ‘ice queen’ Annie. "Liam! Im coming for help! " Good thing that a bow can shoot their arm from afar as she watched the girl freezing the ground , making them hard to approach her. She quickly raise her bow again and shoot her supply of paint balls.

Liam focused his attention on the girl who dared to challenge him, her eyes filled with determination. He recognized her as Annie. A smirk crept across his face as he welcomed the opportunity to engage in a battle with someone from his own team. He tightened his grip on his sword, ready to show his strength and skill. As Annie crouched down, Liam's eyes followed her movements closely, refusing to let her surprise him. He sensed her intent to disrupt his approach, but he wouldn't let her tactics hinder him. With swift footwork and agility, he adjusted his stance to maintain balance on the slippery ground, adapting to the challenging terrain. Liam charged forward, his sword slashing through the air as he aimed a powerful strike towards Annie's defenses. He anticipated her moves, predicting her reactions and countering with calculated precision. The clash of their weapons echoed through the forest as they engaged in a fierce battle, their determination fueling their every move. That was when he heard Rebecca "Thanks " he said with a smirk as he was happy to have her on his team.

Three against one...perfect Annie was a little put off that there wasn't anyone else on her team nearby. Annie liked challenges though, and this seemed like one of her favorites. When she was fired with paint arrows she decided to play hard and concentrated, she didn't know if she could make it but it was only briefly, she gathered courage and created a small hailstorm that hit and deflected the trajectory of most of them, they burst into a whirlwind of colors, they were funny but there was no time. Liam was good and she Annie knew the ice wasn't going to stop him so she gave him a cold look. "Come ahead"

Annie's defiance only fueled Liam's determination to prove himself. He could see the cold look in her eyes, challenging him to come at her with everything he had. He met her gaze with steely determination of his own, refusing to back down. With a battle cry, he pushed forward, his sword slicing through the air with swift and precise movements.Liam and Rebecca coordinated their attacks, their combined strength putting pressure on Annie.  "Come on ice queen...is that all you got?" he smirked as he was now battling the weather which was only another challenge to him. He was meant for this and was willing to prove it!!!!

Liam was gasping, Annie could see him and actually she was gasping too, she wanted to see what he was made of, he was coming and she got ready.  From her pocket she pulled out the little jewel Kenna had made for her: a bronze spear that could shrink during melee combat, almost becoming a knife.  She covered him in ice and she got ready to battle, she knew that against Liam being older and trained it wouldn't be easy, but she wanted to try.  It was also her attention to get some respect.  She smiled at all the adrenaline the crazy game gave her, the Ares boys gassed her, "Well then Warlord! Bring it on" and a circular wind formed from the storm and surrounded them. She ran towards him.

Liam felt the cold touch of ice as Annie covered him in a layer of frost. He braced himself for the upcoming clash, knowing that Annie was determined to give him a challenge. His muscles tensed, his mind focused on the task at hand. Annie summoned a circular wind from the storm, Liam's adrenaline surged. He admired her spirit, her refusal to back down. The wind swirled around them, creating an intense atmosphere that mirrored the intensity of their battle. It was a test of strength, skill, and determination. With a surge of energy, Liam charged forward to meet Annie's oncoming attack. Their weapons clashed, the sound echoing through the swirling wind. Each strike was met with a counter, each parry pushing both of them to their limits. Liam's heart raced, his breath ragged, but he refused to yield. That was when he started to use his ability that all ares kids have.....ANGER.......Pushing that emotion out, no one around would be able to stop an unstoppable anger. This will lead to dumb mistakes in battle....but not for him as he thrived in it...."FEEL THAT.......thats right, give into the anger......let it consume you" his voice was dark as he smirked.

Annie was totally pervaded by the ongoing battle, she loved Liam's spirit who was raising hers more and more, every wound, every scratch he made her was instantly covered by the frost that prevented the blood from clotting and this also created a protection more for his arms. Suddenly a severe headache hit her and she felt the rage and bloodlust pervade and control her totally, but before it could possess her she spread the frost over her head and made the storm bigger, the hail started beating hard on the two of them so that every time Annie lost control, the ice hit her hard and chilled her, giving her a moment of lucidity to fight back. "Liam....my body...is in your hands...my mind too...but never my spirit" Anger helped her and she thrust the spear at him even though she, blinded by the rage, she could see almost nothing. The wind howled between them, and underneath all the anger, Annie was sort of happy. All that power and ferocity of hers he used to attack.

The Storyteller

Annie was able to grab the flag and make a break for the Blue Team's base. It was a long and arduous journey, with Liam hot on her heels. But eventually she was able to take it back to the Blue Team's base, claiming 1 point for her team.

The Storyteller

The Blue team was given a new directive after their flag was captured, they were to head out to the West Woods to set their flag flying high once more. The team trekked into the forest, and managed to set their flag. Hopefully it would be protected well enough to prevent the red team from finding it.

Abby had gotten a bit lost with Lydia on the way to the flag. But she finally found her way!!! Since it was during the day she was feeling a bit weak but she was ready to use her magic nonetheless to take on the other campers. She even wondered if that Benji dude would show up! Rolling her eyes at just the thought of him she knew he was annoying but wanted to show him she was strong enough to take him on. So standing by the flag she looked around for any sight of the red team.

Benji had just defeated another opponent but in the process of the fight had gotten turned around a bit. Ugggg, well he was still in good shape so he took off in a run at a random direction to see where it might lead. Little did he know he was nearing the western part of the woods and just in time. Ahhhh not her! Not that witch! He thought as he saw Abby, but maybe she didn't see him? Wait, was she guarding a flag? Oooooo this was too good a chance to pass up. It would be HIS FLAG soon! He rushed at his as quick as he could, one of two things would happen. She would either see him coming and dodge or he'd knock into her and take her out of the game!

Just as she stood there, she kind of wished a friend would be here with her to talk. But maybe that would be a bit distracting. That was when a noise caught her ear. Turning she saw none other than Benji the a hole running her way. Moving swiftly she dodged his attack but began to move her hands to try and do a binding spell on him. Of course it wouldn't be strong as it was the day time. "Better luck next time JERK" she laughed as she waited to see how well her spell worked. Would he be strong enough to break out of her spell????

Benji HATED magic almost as much as he disliked Abby, there was nothing glorious about fighting that way. It was a shame she was a witch because otherwise she wasn't ugly looking. But then he felt something, or maybe a lack of something? He suddenly couldn't move. Did she cast a spell on him???? Ohhhhh that PISSED him off even more. As her spell started to take effect he struggled against it, muscles bulging as he was very strong. "Should of expected this from a no good coward" he shouted out as he strained against the magical restraints . He could feel them loosening, it wouldn't be long before he'd be free and grab that flag! Maybe knock out the witch too for good measure!

Day time was the worst time for their magic as their mother's magic was strongest at night! If only the game was played at night then losers like Benji would have no chance in this world against her magic. As she casted her spell she waited to see if it had worked and by the look of his face it had. "YESSSSS" she said jumping up and down clapping her hands. "I am NOT a coward....this is my gift and I will use it....but you have no brains so I wouldn't expect you to understand it" she smirked not knowing if her spell would hold. Keeping her distance she waited to see what would happen. Should she use a spell to make him mute? That might be nice!

Benji could feel his rage building and building as he continued to work to burst free. "A gift huh?" he snarled. "Using magic to bind your opponents isn't a gift it's a coward's way out!" his voice clearly showed his distaste for Abby's 'gift'. "There'll be no use for you little parlor tricks anyways once I break free!" His eyes kept shooting towards the flag, a prize so close yet so far away. All his focus was on the feeling of the spell, feeling out its edges as he tried looking for a weakness to exploit. He wasn't any good at this stuff but maybe he could brute force his way out. He did remember her magic was weaker in the day. He could feel the bindings beginning to break, any second he would be free!

From their tumbles before, Abby knew not to give Benji even an inch as he will do anything in his way to hurt her. Ares campers were known for brute force. Benji wasn't one to fight fair either but nothing is fair in love or war....yeah yeah she knows. But her magic was how she fought. As Benji talked trash to her, the smirk on her face was one from her feeling so gleeful that her magic was holding for now....but who knows how long until it doesn't! "Well then do it, I have a sword.....I can fight too you know.....I have been at camper longer than you and have been training longer as well....I might not be a DUMB Ares camper but I will take you on.

A wicked grin spread across Benji's face as he heard Abby's challenge, the kind only a child of Ares could give. His eyes flashed at the opportunity to face Abby sword in hand. Her words had only fueled his desire to crush her spirit and tag the flag for himself! "Oh, you have a sword? How adorable," Benji mocked, "But it won't be enough witch! I've trained with the best, your years at camp mean nothing compared to my talent." He could almost taste the victory! With one final burst of godly strength he broke free from the weakening restraints. He lunged toward the flag to grab it first, if Abby felt brave enough she could jump in his way, but he'd make sure she'd regret it!

It was campers like that gave them all a bad name. The look of soured milk was on her face as she crossed her arms. This was all big talk coming from the boy who was in her spell on the ground. Granted she wasn't the most talented with the sword but she knew enough to make Benji work for it! "You are so funny" she grumbled at him. "Okay then ....show me what you got.....right now you are still on the stupid ground in my Whimpey magic." But it was just then her words came to bite her in the butt as the spell broke which she knew it would. DRATS if only it was night he would never get out of it...I mean she knew from her sexual exploits! Abby did the best thing she could do and that was to throw herself in front of the flag for him to run into. If that meant they fell to the ground on each other then so be it. But she wasn't going to give up without a fight.

Elena didn’t hesitate any further which way she should go as she already knew the flag location instinct. It was a tough fight against the blue but she was back to business every time their changes turned. Go them! She knew she would fight hard for the flag and she wasn’t going to be affected by anything else other than their team and the flag. She watched Derrick and Abigail both fighting over while she just gracefully walk towards the flag and snagged it.
