The Chronicler Posted July 10, 2023 The Storyteller Share Posted July 10, 2023 The Fates weave the tapestries that detail our lives. Every thread represents events and people who come in and out of our lives. No meeting is by chance. Some encounters are fondly remembered, while other would be better left forgotten. As @ Annie Hernandez and @ Henrietta Abbot look back, they can remember this vivid memory of when they met. That fateful day when they met amongst the trees... Annie Hernandez Rare
It was a normal day for Annie, yes, it was just slightly worse than the others, but let's start from the beginning. Ignoring all the advice of her "dear" friend Samantha was found in the woods surrounding the Camp, it was cold and it was a perfect time to train a bit, and if you are in a wood full of monsters, what are the best training partners if not our own? he giggled a little and braced herself, but soon her smile will be replaced by something less happy. After about half an hour of happy training the monster he was fighting called her friends ands, being clearly outnumbered, Annie tried to escape, maybe this was the first time she had done it but she didn't see any other options. She blocked a large block of shrubs and branches with ice, but the beasts didn't stop, so, hoping they wouldn't see her, she used aerokinesis to levitate towards a high branch, perfect for hiding without being seen. When she found the right position to sit down she did, but she noticed another girl standing there. "Who the hell are you? And what are you doing here?". @ Henrietta Abbot Edited July 11, 2023 by Annie Hernandez
Henrietta Abbot
Henry often walked in the woods to clear her head; it was a habit that had endured since exploring the camp on her very first day. Sure it could be dangerous, but it's not as though she was ever without a weapon. So, when she heard the sounds of training just a bit away from her favourite spot, she followed the noise; it could've been someone in trouble, or a potential threat to the camp. The borders were effective but not foolproof. The sounds were coming from a camper, one Henry was unfamiliar with. From what she recalled, she was a child of a minor god. She was in a tree, around the base of which plodded a few impatient-looking monsters. Henry drew her sword and scowled up at the girl. "Who the hell am I? Some fucking nerve... Get down here and help with these gods-damned things!" @ Annie Hernandez
Annie Hernandez Rare
Annie quickly listened to the girl in the tree talking, of course she was strange, she looked her up, she remembered having already seen her around Athena's cabin all the times she had gone to meet her sisters... at first glance she didn't seem like a daughter of Athena, she had a rebellious air and she liked that. She chuckled briefly before looking down again, the monsters were attempting to climb the tree which, luckily, was quite tall, the branches wouldn't hold them but they had to hurry. "Perfect Tree Girl! So you want to do some sparring you, me and these overgrown dogs, they have a little too much self-esteem for my liking!". She smiled and her hand began to let out cold and snow, she created a spear and pierced one of them, hitting him squarely. "What do you say? Are you with me?"
