Kendall Ray Posted August 9, 2023 Share Posted August 9, 2023 Kendall was shocked about everything that she was learning about her new life. Was it really knew though? Well knew enough for her. She couldn't put everything into words at that moment but the feelings were all there. she traveled with the other campers from cabin 11 all the way to the bon fire. There were a couple of the newbies that were able to get claimed this time. Where she was almost thirteen she wondered if she was going to be claimed at all. She sat on the ground looking around at the others that were there. There were so many older campers. She had to wonder who all was with what god. More over, she was more curious as to what god or goddess she belonged to. She didn't know but she couldn't help but be curious. She had a mom so maybe it was a god that was her father. Heck, maybe the women lied though. she doubted it because she looked just like her mother. She had yet to meet the other newbies and had promised herself that she would be paying attention to what was going on with everything at the moment. Her eyes stopped when she found a certain person. His hair was dark and his eyes.. they looked pretty dark too but that could be because it was dark and only shadows were casted at the moment due to the fire that was changing colors at the moment. She blinked and moved to the side when she noticed that he moved around a couple of people. He was so handsome. She hadn't been paying attention to anything that was going on around here, when she heard some claps around them. She glanced around and noticed that there were symbols arriving over a new comers head. She blinked a little watching as the boy seemed to be made very pretty..er..handsome. She looked to the person that called out to him, telling him that he was welcomed into cabin 10. Aphrodite. She watched as he moved to his cabin mates and then her eyes found him once again. He was just standing there. Watching, waiting. Was he waiting on some of his siblings to arrive? What was he liked? She wondered curiously. She couldn't help but want to go up to him. She had been so lost in her own thoughts that she had missed the next person being claimed, and even her own symbol that happened above her head. She glanced over to the person who was telling her that she belonged to Hephaestus. She blinked a couple times and got up from where she was sitting and fixing her hair before heading over to the people that were waving her over. The night seemed to go by even faster. Which was saying something. Once she was in her own cabin, she found herself a bed and was soon off to sleep, in a dreamless sleep. Something about that having so much going on, she was just to tired to even think about anything. The next morning she had found herself walking around the camp. Looking for that familiar face. She was curious as to what his name was. She hadn't found him around the camp, so she had thought that she would go to the forest to see if she could find him there. She picked up a stick and looked around for the dark haired man. Shadow Moore Posted August 9, 2023 Share Posted August 9, 2023 Another bonfire, Shadow never missed one. Mainly because his girlfriend ran them, and he was always with her. He wasn't much of a social person though, he stayed to himself most of the time. His only line of sight was Lilythe, most of the friends he once had were gone. This bonfire was pretty good, we had three new campers get claimed, one ended up being a sibling of his own, another was Aphrodite's child, and the last was a little girl, who seemed to be staring in his direction, and she didn't even realize she was being claimed at first. His head snapped right back to Lilythe though when she announced the girl's symbol over her head being that of Hephaestus. Wasn't too bad of a night, after the claims he went back to his cabin to meet his new brother, and head to bed. The next morning, he found himself in the forest out by a small patch of flowers, where him and Lilythe met most days once her duties at the big house was done. As he waited for his love, he played with a small ball of energy that he conjured up, tossing it up in the air and catching it, just to pass the time. Just as he tossed it up, he lost control, being disturbed by a rustling sound coming from behind him, the ball disappearing into the air. Kendall Ray Posted August 10, 2023 Author Share Posted August 10, 2023 Kendall hadn't really thought that she was going to meet him around out in the woods, but when she had rounded the corner she had noticed the man standing there playing with looked liked a ball, but not really at the same time. She blinked a little and watched him for a moment. She was in awe at the fact that he was doing something with..what she guess was magic. She had heard of people doing that in here, from the older campers in her cabin. She was just about to sit down and watch him a little more because she was curious but he had ended up hearing her and he had turned around, letting her get a better look at his face. Her eyes opened up a little wider. He was so handsome. She blinked a little and moved around the tree to show herself. "I.. um.." she stuttered for a moment. Shadow Moore Posted August 26, 2023 Share Posted August 26, 2023 When the girl walked out into view, he immediately recognized her as the same little girl that was staring at him at the bon fire. She had the same wide-eyed look now that she did the other night. "Oh hello" he says with a smile. He really didn't care that she was out walking around, he just didn't like being watched by someone he didn't know. "What is you name sweety?" he questioned her "I'm Shadow" he says gesturing for her to come closer to him. She asked him about what he had, so he decided he was going to show her. Once she got closer, he made the ball appear out of thin air once more, except he made it into an actual ball. "I had a small ball of energy in my hand, playing around with it while I waited for my girlfriend to show up, but since your here, and curious, I made a ball that you can physically hold" he says smiling at the young girl, he didn't mind younger campers, but he wasn't really one to interact with them unless they approached him, which most of them never did. This little girl that just got here was one of the first. Shadow mainly kept to himself and only really hung around Lilythe. "We can play some catch if you'd like?" he says with a smile. Normally he would tell others to move on, wanting to be left alone, but something about the young girl and her curiosity made him want to talk with her.
