Camp Half-Blood RP

Case File #1 Loukas Makris.....I chose you!

Sage had only gotten to camp not too long ago, but she still had a hard time believing that she was a daughter of Athena. Like the goddess herself was her mom.....it was kind of cool!!! It was right after being claimed that she had been taken to the cabin where she was talked to by a could of the others like Samantha and Ryo. Telling her that camp was a great place but full of drama. But if she was smart she would stay clear of it all. Maybe it was the fact that she had her whole life taken away from her.  That she made a promise to herself when she arrived at camp, sage would do anything to protect this life of hers here. Samantha then went on to warn her more of the hormones in the camp and not to get caught up in them. Giggling she could say there were some cuties here but none that she trusted JUST YET!

It was later that week when she found her way to the lake, which was a success as she had gotten so lost that entire week. There was a cute boy that she had seen at the campfire....who really just looked tired but hey who was she to judge! Well he was out looking at the moon when she pulled out a notebook that was in her pocket. Taking notes on him as she determined in that moment that he was the one. THE CHOSEN ONE that would become her best friend, well that was if she could convince him. That was when she began to pop up everywhere that kid seemed to go. He was sleeping most the day, well that was unless a girl named MK woke him up to do push ups. She was a tad bit strange.  But ehhhh if it gets him up......

As she learned more in the next week about all the gods and goddess that had children there. Sage found out that Loukas was indeed a child of Hecate but the strange thing was that he was not one to practice his magic.....strange but maybe she would find out. Was it just her or was this boy always looking super sad all the time???? All of this and more went into her notebook and when done, it went into her casefile #1 all about him. The more she found out about him, she found herself drawn to him more and more. Even popping into the boys shower once on accident. That was embarrassing!!!!

(1 week later)

Sage had finished her digging on him, her half sister Henry had told her that she stop stalking Loukas and just go up and say hi. Rolling her eyes she knew it not easy for everyone else to see the that this was not stalking but an investigation like a private PI!!!! Sitting in the bushes she waited for Loukas to walk by as he did most weeks as she rehearsed the lines in her mind time and time again. Seeing him, she waited until he was level with her as she pushed herself out of the bushes but then her foot got caught as she tumbled to the ground "Hiii LO---UKAS oh crap" landing on the ground she cursed herself as this was not how she imagined it.

Loukas walked along his usual path near the woods, his eyes shifting constantly as he felt an unshakable sensation that someone or something was following him. The moon was in its waxing phase, but it still cast enough light to make the shadows seem to spring to life. This only increased his sense of unease. Though he seldom practiced magic like he should have been, it was moments of unease like this where he felt he could sense things. But a distraction (specially a magical one) was the last thing he needed. His mood was already sour as it was filled with a foggy melancholy that he couldn't seem to shake off.

As he approached a clearing he heard a rustling in the bushes. Before he could fully process the sound, a figure tumbled out onto the path, exclaiming a mangled version of his name before landing awkwardly on the ground! 'What the hell?!?! he thought. For a split second his first thought was that whatever had been following him had finally decided to make its move. Well if it was a fight this monster wanted!.......wait...he didn't have a sword....or honestly any will to wait a monster like this! But as he focused on the fallen individual he recognized her! The girl he had seen at the campfire! What on earth was she doing lurking in the bushes?

"Uh......hey?" Loukas stammered. "Are you okay?" He extended a hand to help her up though internally he was very suspicious. Why was she here? Was this what had caused him to feel followed all this time? A part of him felt flattered and another part puzzled. But for now he decided he would act friendly towards this stalker. After all, it wasn't every day that someone literally falls into your life.

"It's....ummm Paige right?" he asked.

With her graceful way of doing an entrance, it was pretty much the most embarrassing thing she could have done to talk to this boy she had been stalking. Well that was super embarrassing that he first noticed and then called her the wrong name. Sage's first reaction was to do a facepalm but she tried not to do that instead she laughed it off nervously. "Ohhhh noooo you are so funny Loukas, my name is paige I mean Sage" she turned her head as if she wished she could scream!!!! Why did she say that, she was acting so dumb.  Then looking down to see that her knee was indeed bleeding. "Crap I will go to the apollo cabin later I guess." This was of course more to herself but then again she was talking out loud like a weirdo.

Turning back to Loukas she tried to play it off again "I was just walking in the moonlight, it is super pretty. You seemed to be doing that a lot-I mean tonight. So what brings you out?" In her head she had a notebook as if she was ready to jot down all the things he was about to say. In her mind this whole meeting was going to determine if the two of them became best friends after all. Standing there almost holding her breath she wondered if this boy had any deep secrets that she didn't already know from all the work she had done asking everyone else in his cabin. Loukas seemed like an okay guy, even a sweet one from what MK told her. BUT WHAT WAS HE HIDING????

Loukas helped Sage to her feet, his initial suspicion slowly turning into bemusement as she awkwardly corrected him on her name. Watching her wince at a scraped knee, his concern won over. Despite the strange encounter, he couldn’t deny that Sage had a certain charm—her quirkiness was oddly endearing; plus she was pretty cute too! “Ummmm you should get that cleaned up,” he suggested, nodding towards her knee. “The forest floor isn’t exactly sterile.” He studied her for a moment, wondering why she seemed so interested in him. Was she just friendly, or was there something more behind those bright eyes and the nervous laughter? Sage's mention of the moonlight captured his attention, and Loukas glanced up at the waxing moon, feeling a subtle draw to its gentle light. “Yeah, the moonlight is... calming,” he admitted slightly hesitant. He wasn’t used to sharing his thoughts, especially with someone he barely knew. “I find it helps clear my head.” There was an unspoken heaviness in his words, hinting at the shadows lurking in the corners of his mind. Loukas caught Sage's keen gaze on him, and he could almost see the wheels turning in her head. Did she sense there was more to him than met the eye?

Choosing to keep the conversation light, Loukas offered a small smile, trying to push away the lingering melancholy. “So, Sage, not Paige,” he teased lightly, attempting to ease the awkwardness between them. “What about you? What brings you out here in the middle of the night?” He tilted his head, genuinely curious about this peculiar girl who seemed so intent on knowing him. There was a glint of mischief in his eyes, but underneath, a layer of vulnerability peeked through, revealing a young man grappling with unseen burdens, yet open to the possibility of connection.
