biography

Silas born to Roxie Alexander, a young mom to already 4 kids by the time Silas was born, but by the time Silas turned 7 years old he had 5 younger siblings. 

Roxie was a party animal, putting it lightly. She had multiple partners and never stayed with any of them long enough to even try to form a relationship. When Roxie meets Dionysus, she was already a few drinks in at a random party. He was going by the name of Ares, just because he thought it was hilarious. Roxie even though so too joking how she couldn't believe she got to sleep with Ares, she had heard stories about the gods but never believe in them. After their night of fun, he was gone. A couple months later she found out she was pregnant. 

May 21st Silas made his appearance, she smiled when she could see the resemblance he had to his father. Once he was 6 months old, she started her parting back up, going out every night leaving all 5 of her kids with her own father. Grandpa Alexander was not the happiest as to what his daughter gets into, and being stuck with her children was hard, but he loved his grandchildren dearly. He tried his best to take care of them. 

As Silas grew up, his family grew as well. He loved his mom and grandfather, and even all his siblings. But he also found them quite annoying some days. When he turned 4 years old, his grandfather put him into a t-ball. Thinking he would be like his two older brothers, who have played since 4 themselves. Silas learned quickly though that it was not for him, he was clumsy and could never seem to hit the ball. Thinking it was just that sport, his grandfather put him into other sports, to no avail though. Silas' best thing about him was he was a talker, and he loved meeting anyone and everyone, he didn't know a stranger. He was a very social person, very outgoing. 

Silas was torn with school, he hated being at school because he just seemed to do terrible with all his subjects and could never grasp what he was being taught but he loved school for the simple fact it was where all his friends were. When he turned 10, Silas found something he was really good at, acting. He had always seemed to be pretty good at it, when playing with his siblings, but he never actually thought about theater. During his first theater class is when he meet a boy name Alec. They became great friends, going to all their theater events together, staying at each other's houses, practicing skeets. 

Silas 12th birthday was a birthday he would never forget. His mom and grandpa threw him a huge birthday party, inviting everyone he knew from theater class and school. They threw a huge party and of course his mom brought alcohol for the adults. He had a great time, but as the party with his friends died down and soon the only ones left were Alec, his siblings and his mom's friends, Silas decided he was going to sneak off with a bottle of beer, convincing Alec it would be a good idea. Sneaking up grabbing a bottle of beer, he chuckled as him and Alec ran inside the house and to his room. Just as Silas was about to open the beer, a loud crash sounded scaring both the boys. Silas ran to the window to see what was going on. Thats when he seen a giant Dog like creature tearing things apart, his mom and grandfather were laying on the ground motionless, some of his siblings that he could see were crying hiding under a table. Everything had just turned upside down. Racing out, Alec followed behind him, and when Silas came into view the creature looked right at him, and started to barrel towards him, teeth baring, growling. Before he could even process what was happening, Alec came flying around Silas, and charged straight toward the creature. Silas couldn't believe his eyes, blinking, but the scene wasn't changing, Alec had goat legs! 

Alec was able to kill off the creature, not without taking some damage himself. Once the creature was gone, Silas ran for his mom and grandpa, as he called out for help. Cops and ambulance showed up, they took his mom, grandfather, and 3 of his siblings to the hospital. Sitting on the ground he cried, he couldn't believe what just happened, some of his family is hurt, and the 3 people that were his moms friends, where killed by the creature. 

Alec stayed with Silas, explaining everything to him, and letting him know that attacks like this could happen again. They didn't leave for camp right away though, Silas and his 6 siblings that weren't hurt stayed with another one of their moms friends. After about 3 weeks Silas' mom, grandfather and siblings were back home, they had some serious injuries but luckily they all came home fine. Once home and settled, Alec explained to them what happened, and how Silas is a Demigod that he needed to go to camp half blood where he would be safe, and it would help keep the rest of the family safe too. They were all in shock, his mom especially, she even said she thinks maybe she was still in a coma and none of this ever even happened. 

Giving Roxie a little more time, the weekend that marked a full week of the ones hurt being home, Silas and Alec left for camp half blood. It took them a few days of travel, but one cool thing came from their travels, it was the first time Silas had been around fruit plans, and when he touched a strawberry bush, it started to bloom. He found that really cool. 

Finally making it to camp, Silas was claimed the same night by his Godly parent, Dionysus. He got to meet even more siblings that were half siblings on his father's side and make a bunch of new friends throughout camp. He stayed at camp for the summer, returning home for school until he turned 16, at which point he decided to make his stay permanent and not leave again. He learned all he could about his father, and what kind of gifts he got from him. 

Personality

  Silas is the happy go lucky guy that loves to party and have a good time. Growing up he was always the life of the party, very extroverted and outgoing, he would do any dare that was thrown his way. Getting drunk is his favorite past time, the only thing he hates is the morning after. He is the one that will be like "dude I'm never drinking again" as he reaches for another beer out of his fridge. 

Silas has always had issues being very indecisive. During school he would get ask "what do you want to do when you grow up" and he was always the one kid that would have multiple answers, but he would never choose one for sure. He hates having to make any type of decision, and he will purposefully avoid them if he can. 

Silas is usually the guy all the girls are after; they all want a relationship with him, but he could never decide what girl he wanted, he would date one for a while, get bored and date another. He wouldn't call himself a player, but he is a flirt. He has thought about wanting to settle down at some point, he does know he wants kids. 

The more you get to now Silas the more you'll realize he does have a laid-back side, that loves to sit, relax and watch movies! Those are mainly his closest friends.
