Sage had about enough of Damien, he had been so obsessed with himself that he lost the winning point for Capture the Flag. If that didn't burn her buttons enough then the fact he was not helpful as a partner in class just pushed her to the edge. That was it! She thought to herself, she didn't care how good looking he was or that he shot her down by calling her not by her name. It was as if this prick didn't give a crap about anyone but himself! As if the sun shined just for him or that everyone at camp was to be there to play his stepping stools. GRRRRRRRRR HE WAS SO DUMB ....but yes he was handsome but dumb!!!!!!!!

Sage had made some fake posters stating the most talented and good looking campers should apply for a special award. Knowing that Damien could not resist. She made sure to put one in his bedroom which she snuck into. GOSHHHH he even had like hundreds of photos of himself signed by himself. This was just nauseating. Scheming with Henry, the two of them waited until the date on the poster to put up signs with arrows that lead to a tent. That tent was a trap that would snap down on pretty boy. This would allow them to then get him back...maybe they would color his hair or cut it or even better. Put makeup on him to make him hideous!!!! Now it was just time for them to wait to see if the dumb big head baffoon would come.

Henry was used to her half-sister's schemes by now... she had played "lookout" for her maybe one two many times. Sustaining a random conversation with a camper she usually wouldn't give the time of day to? So not her thing. But Sage recruited her all the same. Maybe because of her penchant for pranks with Tempest, or her natural inclination for war tactics? Who knows. But, this time, she was in it for more than sisterly loyalty. Her biggest enemy, aside from Liam of course: Damien Dawn. He was a pompous pretty boy with a lot of talent and ZERO substance.

"You really think this'll work, Sage?" Henry questioned, squinting at the poster she was stapling to a tree. "Oh, who am I kidding? For an Apollo boy he's surprisingly... dim," she smirked, stepping back to align the poster squarely. Hey, she was still her mother's daughter! It was one of Sage's more... comical plans, but if anyone was gonna fall for it, Damien would. "I can't wait to see the look on his face when we--" she heard footsteps approaching and quickly slipped behind the tree. It was casual enough to be a natural movement, but strategic enough to conceal her, at least until he got closer to the tent. While Henry doubted he'd recognise her, they'd had run-ins before. He'd tried to sign her sketchbook once! She rolled her eyes at the mere thought of it.

Damien woke up feeling as glorious as the morning sun shining through his cabin window. His eyes immediately caught sight of the poster Sage had sneakily placed in his room. 'The most talented and good-looking campers' it read. A grin crept across his face. "Well if they wanted someone who fits that description they're in luck!" he exclaimed. His eyes moved to his wall of trophies, awards, and photos; all starring him of course. "Ah this special award will make a wonderful addition," he mused. He took a moment to admire his reflection in one of his many framed self-portraits, signed by himself. "Damien Dawn, you are the epitome of divine perfection," he whispered to his reflection, winking.

Damien then sauntered toward the location indicated on the poster. The sun seemed to follow him, illuminating him in a golden halo that made him look like the god he clearly thought he was. As he approached the tent he felt an excitement bubbling inside him, already imagining his triumphant pose when accepting the award. That's when he triggered the rope snare. Before he knew what was happening he found himself dangling upside-down, suspended above the forest floor! "What is the meaning of this indignity?!?" he roared, his face turning an unsightly shade of red—or perhaps that was just the blood rushing to his head! Though upset, a part of him couldn't help but admire the ingenuity of the trap. "Hmm, such cunning would have been admirable on the battlefield, but against me? An outrage!" he yelled at no one but himself, trying to maintain his composure, or as much as one could while hanging upside-down. Even in this unfortunate situation Damien found himself speculating if the light hitting him from behind was creating a dramatic effect. "Well, if anyone could pull off 'dangling but dignified,' it would be me," he reassured himself.
