  1. Just over a month had passed since her birthday party. Shadow had managed to keep it civil with Azrael during the party, and Lilythe had honestly been impressed. She thought that it would be impossible for the two of them to get along. Especially after things seemed to come to a head again at the capture the flag event. But Shadow really seemed to be serious about turning over a new leaf this time, and Lilythe was finding herself more relaxed around him again. Things were starting to remind her of how they had been before he turned into a possessive jerk. He was acting more like the guy she had fallen for in the first place. It definitely created a bit of confusion in Lilythe, who had been moving on. But now she found herself looking back.

Shadow had invited her over to spend time with him, and since the two of them were being friendly she knew she really shouldn't refuse. After all, just because last time they were alone they had kissed didn't mean that they couldn't ever be alone again ever, did it? The kiss at the boathouse was just a slip. It won't happen again. She reminded herself. Both of you were still healing from the break-up. You've had more time now. She coaxed herself.

She made her way over to his cabin after she finished her lessons for the day. Lilythe had a light layer of dirt and sweat from the scouting lessons she had given the Apollo and Hermes cabins today. But it wasn't anything new, and Shadow was just a friend now, right? There was no reason to get dressed up. As she arrived, Lilythe knocked on the cabin door. "Shadow?"

  2. Lilythe chuckled at the thought of a monster being willing to speak to them. "I suppose you could ask the Satyr. But honestly I don't know if they smell us like the monsters or if we have some sort of nature magic they sense." When it came right down to it, Lilythe had never asked the satyrs how they found them. She just knew that they were sent searching for the half-bloods and to help keep the natural world preserved as best they could. Under Grover's guidance a lot had changed since she first arrived at camp several years ago.

The wave of relief on the poor girl's face was noticeable when she found out she could see her adoptive family again. Lilythe was glad she had been able to provide that relief to her. She imagined it must be hard for those who had to leave loved ones behind. Lilythe's own story hadn't been so heartwarming, and there was no one outside of camp for her to return to. "You can absolutely talk to them about it, but I don't know how much they can understand and relate. You might want to keep the more dangerous bits out--just so they don't worry too much." It was a camp for training heroes after all. There was a lot of danger at the camp, too. Especially in the forest.

Lilythe chuckled softly. "Not necessarily. Your parent could claim you at any point between now and your birthday. They just have to before your birthday. But they can choose to do it sooner. Some kids get claimed the moment they walk onto the campgrounds. Others their parents wait until their 13th birthday. It all depends on the parent's whims. Unfortunately the gods aren't the most reliable parents around." That was the nicest way that Lilythe could think to phrase it. Things had improved between the gods and their halfblood children in recent years, but they still weren't great. The gods were still the gods, and habits that had been building for millennia didn't just disappear overnight.

    "Anything else you're curious about?"

  3. Lilythe could hear his shout as he walked back down the hall. A smirk graced her lips as she pictured him completely bereft of clothing, naught but a towel to cover him. It was a shame she had covered her eyes, because she was certain the view would have been spectacular. Before long she could hear the door swing open and the audible sigh that Azrael had let out. Immediately she felt relief that her plan hadn't been too intimidating for him. It had been a brief concern as she sat there waiting for him.

The telltale sound of the door closing and being locked caused Lilythe to bite subtly on her lower lip. And with Azrael's comment her cheeks flushed. His lips pressed against hers, and she melted into the kiss. "It was my best ever, thanks to you." Lilythe confessed.

Feeling the cool touch of metal against her wrist, and the clicking of the cuff, she felt herself being laid back onto the bed. In that moment she wanted nothing more than his happiness. Azrael had shown that he truly knew her, and gave her the only thing she could have ever wanted for her birthday--everyone together again--so Lilythe wanted to give him anything and everything she could.

  4. Being a half-blood was confusing on a normal day. But on the first day you found out, especially so. There was so much to learn about the new world you would need to navigate, and it was a lot to take in at once. Lilythe understood that. She often tried to explain things in manageable chunks. It was definitely a lot to process at once.

She smiled softly as the girl giggled about them 'smelling'. "The monsters seem to like the smell anyway. I don't know what it smells like, and I haven't felt like asking when I get into a scuffle with one." She added with a small chuckle. Grabbing her lemonade, she took a sip. It was nice to sit and chat with the new campers one on one like this. Lilythe really didn't get many opportunities to spend time with campers after they arrived lately. Hopefully with Mr. D returning--or at least, she had been told to expect him--she would have a few less responsibilities. However, she knew her hands would still be fairly full until Chiron returned.

"You know... you can go back and visit them. You're not trapped here. It's just safer here, until you learn how to defend yourself from monsters." Lilythe said, reassuringly, as the girl mourned the perceived loss of her adoptive family. "Most of our campers just come for the summer and head home. Only a few of us, like me, live here year round." Lilythe didn't share much more information as to why that was. In her case, she had never been adopted. She lost her mother the same day she needed to go to camp and there had been no reason to return to the mortal world after that. Lilythe hoped that this girl would be one of the fortunate ones who got to return to their family once they felt safe enough. "We are a summer camp after all."

With a smile, Lilythe answered the next question. "Most of us didn't know one parent or the other until it was time to come here. Some of us were orphans. Others thought they knew both of their parents only to find out that one was a stepparent." There was a wide variety of homes that demigod children came from, some were better than others. Most were single-parent homes, but not all. "So I wouldn't call it uncommon to not know either of your parents. But not all of us experienced that. However, it's very normal to have not known that you were a demigod. I don't think I've ever known anyone, except maybe Thalia Grace, who knew who their godly parent was before they got to camp." It had been a long time since Lilythe had thought about the past much. She still got to see Thalia--who literally hadn't aged a day, thanks to Artemis--when the huntresses came around for visits. Most of the other campers from her early years at camp though were either dead, out in the world, or living in New Rome. A few others probably had known, like Luke. But Lilythe didn't enjoy thinking about her late half-brother.

And there it was, the question every child seemed to ask. "No, I'm sorry, I don't. But they'll claim you before you turn 13. I promise." They have to. Lilythe thought with a smile. Thanks Percy. It was Percy's deal with the gods that ensured that all campers were claimed by their thirteenth birthdays. After he saved them during the Second Titan War, the gods had no choice but to grant him the request. And thanks to him, the Hermes cabin no longer housed as many forgotten and unclaimed children as it used to.

  5. Lilythe stepped into the cabin and followed him to his room. She popped herself down onto the bed, and let out a massive sigh. "I don't even know what to do right now." She rolled over so that she was laying on her back and looked up at James. The two of them had been friends for so long, she knew she could tell him anything. But where would she even begin. "James...I don't know if I can handle both of them being at camp." There wasn't a single person at camp who wouldn't be able to immediately tell that she was talking about Shadow and Azrael. Still, she clarified. "Shadow and Azrael, I mean. Not at the same time. I barely have had any time to process Azrael being back. And I thought Shadow was leaving to get space and move on. Maybe he did... he says he just wants my friendship but... we... kissed."

Lilythe groaned and grabbed a pillow, pulling it over her face. She couldn't believe she had done that. And after her date with Azrael too. She kept the pillow over her face until she needed to breathe, then pulled it down just enough to look over and get some air. "I slept with Azrael on our date." Her cheeks flushed. She knew that there was nothing to be embarrassed about. Apparently everyone at camp had known how Azrael felt about her except her, so there was probably a non-small number of individuals who, if they had heard, would have chimed in 'finally' or some similar comment. But Lilythe had only ever been with Shadow before. It was new and she felt like a young teen all over again, nervous and unsure about things. "I know I shouldn't have... but it's Azrael. I mean, we grew up together. It's not like I needed to learn more about him, right? But then capture the flag..." The boys had gotten into a fairly heated argument during capture the flag, all over her. It had stopped being about the game and had become a display of testosterone. All because both of them clearly had feelings for her. "It's all my fault..."

  6. Lilythe let her eyes drift across the young girl before her. She looked weathered from the journey, but still seemed in good spirits. "I'm glad you like them. Made them this morning, just in case someone came by. You're very welcome." It was clear the adrenaline hadn't worn off from her journey yet, as she stated she wasn't tired. Lilythe could only imagine that it had to be the adrenaline talking.

The questions she had were to be expected. "By your friend, I'm assuming you mean the satyr that brought you here?" The satyrs often posed as children or shorter adults when out in the world. Most campers had met their satyr long before coming to camp. "You would have to ask him to be certain, but it's possible he knew the whole time. But more than likely he merely suspected. See, the satyrs are sent out to look for potential half-bloods to help guide them to the camp. To those who can see through the mist--that's what makes it so that mortals don't see everything completely, it's kind of complicated but just think of it as magic--us half-bloods have a certain deific smell." That was the nicest way Lilythe could think to say that half-bloods smelled like the gods to mythical creatures. "But it's hard to really know for certain until our powers manifest if were really a half-blood. So he probably wasn't sure until whatever prompted your arrival occurred. I'm assuming there was some sort of monster attack, there often is." Lilythe said very matter-of-factly. "And to tell you before he was sure would have been foolish. Since, if you had been a regular mortal it would have exposed our world."

Lilythe hoped that provided enough context to satisfy her question. Though she expected that there would be more questions if it hadn't. Or, for that matter, even if it had the girl was likely to have more. It wasn't every day that you found out one of your parents was a god after all.

  7. Lilythe could hear the familiar sound of the front porch steps creaking, followed shortly by the front door swinging open. She smiled as she heard an unknown voice. A new camper. "I'll be right there! Make yourself at home." She called from the kitchen towards the front of the house. Lilythe poured a couple glasses of lemonade and threw together a plate of cookies before following through with her promise. Placing the beverages and cookies onto a tray, Lilythe walked herself into the front room.

"Welcome to Camp Half-Blood. I'm Lilythe, one of the cabin leaders here at the camp. I'm sure you're tired and have a ton of questions." She said sweetly, and placed the tray down on the table before the girl. Grabbing one of the glasses of lemonade, she took a sip and sat in a chair opposite the couch the girl sat upon. "Please feel free to relax, have a cookie or two, and drink some lemonade. I'm here to answer any questions you might have. And when you're ready I can show you the camp." Lilythe said with a smile.

  8. Lilythe had been trying to figure out exactly how to show Azrael how much she appreciated his birthday gift to her. Vienna, her best friend, was home. Lilythe had been over the moon and spending much of her time catching up with her best friend since the night of the party, and hadn't yet found the time to thank Azrael. With Vienna spending some time with her siblings, Lilythe decided to take advantage of this and snuck her way into the Nemesis cabin.

As soon as she was in, she went straight to work. The cabin leader's bedroom was at the back of the cabin, and Lilythe made a bee-line for the door. Once inside, Lilythe set her backpack in the corner and began unpacking. There were candles, and a few symbolic items that she had brought with her, as well as a negligee that left little to the imagination. Over on his bedside table, Lilythe laid out a note. It read as follows:

    Azrael,
Thank you for the most meaningful gift on my birthday. As a token of my thanks, I'm yours to play with tonight. Completely under your control. You have my consent to do whatever you please. The safeword is Blueberry.
    Yours,
    ~Lilythe

Changing into her negligee, she then lit the candles on either nightstand. Laid an array of toys for his use out on the night stands. And blindfolded herself as soon as she heard his voice and footsteps nearing the door.

  9. The change of pace helped. Lilythe could already feel her mood improving. She liked hearing a bit about her brother and what he was like. "You have plenty of time to decide all that. I was just curious. It's an interesting place to visit, even if you don't decide to go there for university. New Rome is a safe haven, like Camp Half-Blood. Though... there are a lot of Roman half-bloods there." Lilythe said with a note of joking distaste. She didn't actually dislike them, though things certainly had gotten off to a very rocky start between the two camps when they rediscovered one another's existence.

Lilythe continued to walk and talk with her younger brother. It was nice being able to just have a chat about normal things. As they kept going time passed and their conversation continued about everything from the future to the upcoming capture the flag game, and beyond. For a moment, however brief, it felt like a normal brother and sister bonding moment. And Lilythe was happy.

  10. Lilythe could feel her release as Azrael told her to cum with him. She let out a final cry of bliss before collapsing and gasping for air. As she finally regained her breath, she bit her lip and looked over at Azrael. "I shouldn't have made you wait." She giggled softly. Lilythe pulled his face over to hers and kissed him softly. "I think you've just about worn me out for the evening." She winked and began to crawl under the covers.

She waited for him to crawl into bed beside her and snuggled herself up under his arm. He was warm and comforting. She felt blissfully safe in his arms. "Goodnight Azrael." She whispered, and then let her self drift off into sleep.

  11. A pros and cons list? Lilythe's eyebrow quirked. "What if he found it?" She could feel her eyes widen in horror at the idea that Azrael might see what she wrote about him. Though, if she was being honest the only real con that she could think of was how angry she was at him right now. Lilythe looked up at Larissa. "We should put it in some kind of code or be as vague as possible. I don't want him to find it. Or better yet, let's just burn it after."

Lilythe chewed on her lower lip. "I've never thought about Azzy that way... you know." She said as she realized she was having a hard time coming up with a 'pro' list as well. "We've always been friends. Best friends." She sighed. "He is kind of handsome though, right? I mean objectively speaking." She had to start somewhere, didn't she?

  12. Lilythe smiled. She was glad that Shadow would at least try for her. If she could keep him and Azrael civil, things would be alright in the end. At least, that was her hope. She wasn't sure what her heart really wanted right now. But if the boys could at least be civil, she knew she could handle anything. "That's all I can ask, Shadow"

"Of course! Why not? It's still warm out, and I'd rather go do it now than wait until the sun starts setting." She blushed softly as she felt his hand graze against hers. It was hard not to grab his, but she didn't want to send mixed signals. She was trying to figure things out. If she went back to him, she wanted to make sure it was what she really wanted and that he had really changed this time. She didn't want to do it simply because it felt familiar and convenient. Especially now that Azrael was in the picture and there were new feelings to explore.

Lilythe stepped out the door as he opened it and she began to walk down towards the boathouse where the canoes were stored. It was quiet on the grounds for some reason. She figured the campers were all busy preparing for Capture the Flag. They might even be planning their strategies. Either way, it meant that it was just the two of them down by the lake. "I might need your help untying the canoe from the rack. I think the Hephaestus kids were the last to use them, and they always over tighten the ropes." Lilythe said, getting on her tiptoes trying to get the top canoe off the rack.

  13. "Bartender's choice, Azzy." Lilythe grinned impishly at Azrael, leaning over the bar. "But I do wonder... have you ever made a Tootsie Roll Shot?" The drink was an absolute marvel. The combination of ingredients sounded disgusting when someone said it out loud. Kaluah and Orange Juice in equal parts. However, when mixed appropriately, the two together tasted and smelled like a tootsie roll. It was the strangest thing. Lilythe had discovered it on one of her many trips out into the world. She might have to ask for one later if he had.

A smile played across Lilythe's face as Shadow complimented her. Though she blushed deep red when he said that Azrael should consider himself lucky. She wasn't exactly sure how to respond to that. They weren't officially dating. They had gone on a few dates at this point, sure. But she also knew she had unresolved feelings for Shadow too. "I'm just happy my favorite boys are here." She said trying to gloss over what he said.

Azrael began his toast, and Lilythe couldn't help but blush again as all the attention turned to her. "To friends!" She said as she raised her glass, snuffed the flame, and slammed the shot down. Just in time for someone to take their hands and cover her eyes.

There was no doubt in Lilythe's mind who those hands belonged to. The only thing she wondered was how. It had been ages since Lilythe had seen Vienna, her best friend. She could already feel tears in her eyes as she pulled the woman's hands from her eyes and spun around. "Vee! I can't believe you're here!" She threw her hands around the child of Dionysus and squeezed tightly. "When did you get back? How long are you here for?" For a moment, she forgot about anyone else in that room.

She wasn't the only one who was happy to see Vienna. But she could guarantee that nobody was happier than her. Everyone's home... She thought to herself.

  14. Lilythe beamed and gave Willow as the girl came up to greet her. Before moving on to the next guests. After all, you didn't tend to get much time with guests at the beginning since everyone wanted to greet you. She was sure she could catch up with the Apollo child later.

Before long Asher and Arsen walked in. Lilythe was very happy to see that they had came. She often felt like ever since her and Shadow had broken up, her relationship with the Hecate cabin wasn't as strong as it used to be. There was, of course, the very real possibility that this was all in her head thanks to her own insecurities and anxieties. Still, she was pleased to see the twins had arrived. Hugging Arsen, she beamed, "I'm so happy you're here!" Her comment was directed at both siblings, even if it seemed only to Arsen since he came in for the hug. Breaking off the hug, she looked at them both. "Your costumes look great!"

As the last of the guests (at least the ones she was aware of) trickled in, Lilythe finally made her way over to the makeshift bar that Azrael had created and smiled. "Shot for the birthday girl, bartender?" She said with a wink. Taking a seat next to Killian and Shadow, Lilythe smiled at the boys. "This is the best birthday I've had in a long while. Thank you!" She let her smile linger a bit longer on both Azrael and Shadow. The fact that they were being amiable had her over the moon.

  15. It came as no surprise when the first person to enter The Big House was none other than Azrael. Lilythe beamed as he walked up to greet her and wrapped her arms around him as he embraced her. "I'm so happy you made it back." She smiled sweetly and gave him a soft kiss on the cheek. "I missed you too, Azzy. Thanks." She disentangled herself from him and watched as he walked over to stand host at the bar. She couldn't help but bite her lip and smile.

"So that's where you went!" Lilythe said, grinning at Killian. She had wondered where he had gotten off to over the summer. So many of the older campers had left and come back this year. It was nice to have her family home. "So sweet of you to think of me while you were there." She took the bottle from him and gestured over to the bar. "Looks like Azzy's volunteered his services at the bar tonight if you want to partake."

As James and Rissa walked in the door, Lilythe let out a squeal of excitement. "Eeeeeek! You're here!" She beamed. There hadn't been a chance in the world that James wouldn't show up at the party. And these days, where he went, Rissa was likely to follow. Lilythe was very happy for them. They both seemed happier with their more committed arrangement, and Lilythe had always thought that it would be quite the match. She beamed at them both. "Thanks Rissa!" She called out, waving over to her.

The next guest to arrive was Shadow. Lilythe jumped slightly at his illusion before laughing. "I'd say yours looks good but it's terrifying." She said with a chuckle. She was not the biggest fan of clowns. Killer clowns even more so. But she knew that Halloween was a time for people to spook others just as much as it was for people who enjoyed dressing as fantasy heroes, perhaps it was even more appropriate to wear spooky costumes in all honesty. She just appreciated that he had chosen to get into the theme. She returned his embrace with an embrace of her own and gave him a soft kiss on the cheek as well. "Thanks for coming."

There were still a few guests that hadn't arrived, but Lilythe felt like it was a good enough time to turn on the music. She walked over to the old radio that was in the corner and turned up the volume. "Let's party!"

  16. Lilythe decided to plan a birthday party for herself. It had been a while since so many of her friends had been at camp all at the same time, so she was feeling particularly festive. It was a costume party, of course, because of Halloween. She had invited everyone from her age group and had stocked plenty of booze for everyone to have some.

She chose to wear a black cat suit, tight to her body, with the ears, whiskers, and tail to boot. Once the Big House was decorated, and the younger campers were off to bed, Lilythe opened the front door to the house so that the older campers could come in. She had instructed a couple of satyrs to keep out the younger campers for the evening unless there was an emergency. Hopefully one night of fun could be had without a major crisis, however.

  17. Lilythe gave Shadow a soft look that somehow demonstrated both compassion and frustration. She knew that Azrael pushing Shadow down the side of Zeus's Fist was a topic that was still sore for him. But she also really hoped the two of them could put the past behind them. It had been more than five years, after all. "Be nice Shadow..."

She let him finish his meal in peace, after all, she didn't have anything to add to that particular subject. But before he finished he asked a questions she hadn't been expecting. Friends could go canoeing, right? She didn't really want to cut their time short. He was being so sweet and she really had missed this side of him. "I... Yeah, we could do that." She nodded.

Lilythe rose from the table and offered the leftovers to the gods at the fireplace. As she returned to the table, she looked at him. "Ready to go?"

  18. Lilythe pulled him into her, and as she did she felt him start to slide inside. Inch by inch he sank into her, and she winced as he stretched her out. By the time he pressed fully into her, she blushed. She felt full. She could feel every inch of him inside her, his pulse in his veins, and she found herself gasping as he hit the top of her. "Ah! Azrael!" Instinctively she wrapped her arms around him, her nails digging lightly into his back for security.

He began to tease her, and Lilythe let out a soft moan of desperation as she moved to pull him back inside her once more. She kissed his shoulder, using it to muffle her sounds as the two began their intimate encounter. As Azrael went a little harder, Lilythe let out a cry. What he was doing felt so intense that she couldn't even process it completely. It was all a tangled mess of pleasure. All she knew was that if she made him stop and that was the last thing she wanted. She couldn't bring herself to stop him or tell him to slow down now.

It paid off. His cock pounded deep into her, filling every inch. The intensity of it all was overwhelming. Lilythe let out a moan as it started to consume her, wrapping her legs around him. She tilted herself just a bit to let him hit deeper. The moment she did she felt her body tense around him. "Oh! Oh! Azrael... Azrael don't stop. Please... please... don't stop. I... I think I'm going to cum." She moaned and scratched down his back once more as she started to writhe in ecstasy. He had found her limits and pushed her over the edge so quickly. And the longer he continued the longer her body kept her in absolute bliss. It wouldn't let her down from the high. Every thrust kept her climax going, and she screamed out in primal bliss.

  19. Lilythe pouted as he moved her off his lap to stand. She wasn't entirely sure why it had bothered her, but blamed their current awkward situation. She was still working on getting herself used to the idea that she had feelings for him. She looked up at him as he looked at her. "You're invited. I don't think I have much choice other than to trust that you'll do your best to be civil now." She smirked up at him. It was ridiculous and reckless. But it was also incredibly romantic and a grand gesture.

"I'll miss you, Azrael. Even if it is only a couple weeks." Lilythe said, biting her lip. Why was this so hard? She had never been so upset about friends leaving before. Part of it was the fallout from the battles, and she knew that, part of it was from having lost people because of Shadow's possessiveness, and she knew that too. But there was something even more at play. She wasn't ready to admit, even to herself, the depth of her feelings for Azrael.

Lilythe grabbed his arm, and looked into his eyes. Her own eyes misty.

  20. Lilythe watched as Axel joined his newfound sister. She was grateful that McKayla was so welcoming. Moving out of the Hermes cabin could be hard when people got claimed, since it was their first home at camp. Having a welcoming cabin for their parent would help ease that pain a bit.

It wasn't long before the next child's claiming was underway. Lilythe couldn't help but smile as she saw an all too familiar symbol glowing above the head of young @ TJ Gardner . "Welcome, officially, to Cabin 11 TJ. Go join our siblings around the fire, little brother." Lilythe said, beaming at him and gesturing to where the rest of the campers from Cabin 11 were gathered.
