  1. Section 5: Tags and Prefixes Not every post will require a tag or prefix. A complete list of Tags and Prefixes can be found HERE. Summarily, though, tags/prefixes that are available, and in some cases required, for our members to use will be explained below. Section 1: New Campers The New Camper tag is exclusive to the "New Camper Entrances" section of "The Big House" and should only be posted in by that New Camper who created it and a Cabin Leader. This is, in part, to ensure that any lore-based questions are answered in-line with site expectations. Section 2: Mature Content The Mature is used to indicate that a thread contains mature themes including extreme violence, gore, sex, and several other topics. Only those invited by the original poster and the original poster should be posting in these threads. Additionally, if you are writing a mature thread, and do not have the tag, you may receive an official warning from the staff. So please make sure you remember to use this tag if you're writing topics with mature themes in them. These help serve as a warning for people who may choose to read others' threads that they will be reading adult content if they open your thread. Section 3: Personal Plot Related Content The Personal Plot Related tag is used to indicate that a thread contains events relevant to a character's personal plot (a plot approved by the Staff that may involve several characters or NPCs from the site). Only those invited by the original poster and the original poster should be posting in these threads. This should only be used for threads that are related to an approved 'Personal Plot' on the site. Section 4: Open Content The Open is used to indicate that a thread that is open for anyone and everyone to join. Any character may join these threads, and you are encouraged to participate if you want! If you choose to use this tag for your thread, you are choosing to allow any character to join your thread. So please make sure that if you choose to use this that you are genuinely okay with allowing any of our members and their characters to join you. Section 5: Completed Content The Ready to Archive tag is used to indicate that a thread has reached completion. It lets staff know that you and your partner are done roleplaying in that thread so that we can archive it before the 30 days of inactivity.
  2. Section 4: Topic Archiving Everyone has a life outside of our site and they sometimes are kept busy and away. However, if a topic has not been updated in 4 weeks (30 days), the roleplay will be archived unless an active "away notice" has been created. If you wish to continue the RP after it has been archived, simply go to the help forum and request for it to be moved back. Alternatively, you can also voluntarily archive your posts by marking them as 'Ready to Archive' by editing the first post of the thread--the user who started the thread will have to do this--to have the 'Ready to Archive' tag.
  3. Section 3: Personal Plots Personal plots are plots that impact only your character and a handful of other characters but wouldn't impact the community at large. They are, however, significant enough that they require planning and organization beyond one or two threads and potentially some support characters from the site canons. Anything with a quest is considered a personal plot. This level of plotting requires approval from the admin and has its own application. A more detailed look at Personal Plots can be found HERE, however a good rule of thumb is that if it can be contained in one to three threads, it may not require a personal plot, but if it uses any canon character support and goes beyond simple drama you will likely need one. Subsection A: The Oracle and Quests Since quests are only given by the Oracle, you must have a personal plot to have a quest. Completion of a quest is considered a noteworthy task, when applying for that award. You must send all of your completed threads for quest related plots to @★Lilythe to receive your awards. The current Oracle is Rachel Elizabeth Dare and she is a canon character played by a member of the site. It is not considered a staff position, per se, however it is required to participate in all personal plots related to quests and site-wide plot events related to quests. Playing this character appropriately increases consideration when applying for staff positions. Subsection B: Threads Involving Gods Threads involving Gods will require a Personal Plot, unless they are Mr. D (Dionysus) who is readily available at Camp Half-Blood due to his canonical punishment. These events are exceedingly rare, and very few campers will have such interactions in their lifetime. To keep in theme with this, Personal Plots are required. The Gods canonically do not have much interaction with their children. Those applying for a Personal Plot with a god in it should be prepared with that knowledge, and it is recommended any god involved in a personal plot not be your character's godly parent. The Gods are canon characters played by members of the site. They are not considered staff positions, per se, however they are required to participate in all site-wide plot events related to them. Playing a god appropriately increases consideration when applying for staff positions. Subsection C : Threads Involving Major Figures Threads involving Major Figures (such as Medusa) will require a Personal Plot, unless they are Chiron who is readily available at Camp Half-Blood training Campers. These events are exceedingly rare, and very few campers will have such interactions in their lifetime. To keep in theme with this, Personal Plots are required. Major Figures are any named mythical creature, legendary hero, monster, or canon character of significance. They are played by members of the site and are not considered staff positions. They are required to participate in all personal and site-wide plots that relate to them. Playing a Major Figure appropriately increases consideration when applying for staff positions.
  4. Section 2: Character vs. Writer Knowledge Just because you know something as a writer, this doesn't mean your character would know. Please make sure your character responds to situations, information, etc. appropriately to what they would know. They are not psychic (probably), and cannot read the minds of the other characters, etc. Failure to do so could be considered godmodding under the right circumstances and may result in a warning.
  5. Section 1: Word Counts We do not have a minimum word count. However, we do ask that you please be considerate of the those you are roleplaying with. If they write several paragraphs and you give them a sentence or two in reply this may offend some writers and they may not wish to continue writing with you. This is up to the discretion of the writer, and is not a punishable offense by any means. We do consider it common courtesy though, and will not get involved in disputes between writers over post-length unless they create significant adverse impact for the site's wellbeing and fall into harassment or other rulebreaking.
  6. Section 6: Site Plot Events A site-wide plot event is an event that is organized by the staff that relates to the site plot. These events will range from small events to catastrophic events. However, they will always be big enough that all characters on the site will be aware that they occurred in some way shape or form. Regardless of whether or not your character participates in the event, they will have heard about it and know about it. To some degree they will even be impacted by it. Subsection A: Participation Site-wide plot events will have sign ups for members who want to participate. In most cases all members will be able to volunteer to participate. However, in some instances events may be limited to a specific cabin or cluster of cabins. Always make sure that you consult the sign up list (when one is up) to find out if you're able to participate when interested. Subsection B: Outcomes Our site plot is directly impacted by the events in the threads. In essence, the outcome isn't decided until you participate! This is a way that we help keep our site particularly interactive and allow you, as members, to effect the overall atmosphere of the site. The outcomes of the events will always be reported in The Bulletin Board, and this will be information that all characters, even those not participating, will know about and be impacted by. Even if you don't participate, you are expected to read the bulletin board to keep up to date.
  7. Article V: Posting Content This section details information about the community standards regarding posting and various types of content.
  8. Section 9: Regarding Other Camps & Demigods Those who are fans of Rick Riordan's work likely know that all of his books are connected and that there are several other types of demigods out there. Down below is the current information about demigods outside of Camp Half-Blood on Camp Half-Blood RP. Subsection A: Camp Jupiter The Roman counterpart to Camp Half-Blood, Camp Jupiter is not currently available for play on Camp Half-Blood RP. When the site grows enough to justify expansion into Camp Jupiter, this will be the first of the demigods we add to the list. Subsection B: Magicians For those of you who are fans of the Kane Chronicles, don't worry, we haven't forgotten them! As our site grows we will be considering the addition of Magicians in the future! Subsection C : Norse Demigods For those of you who are fans of the Magnus Chase books, don't worry, we haven't forgotten them! As our site grows we will be considering the addition of Norse Demigods in the future! Subsection D : Riordan Presents... While we will likely consider these if the site grows large enough, these are the last of our priority to add to the site at this time. We are excited at the possibility of growing to accommodate them, but wish to be honest about where our priorities lay.
  9. Section 5: Site Setting and Plot We utilize the Riordanverse as our setting. As a result, we adhere to canon and operate in the post-canon. This allows for everyone to be on the same page regarding events from the past that occurred, while still allowing for some freedoms moving forward. More detailed information about the site setting and plot can be found HERE, including information about what has already occurred in the plot for those who wish to go back and read. The linked document is consistently updated to match with our current plot progress.
  10. Section 4: Careers Adult halfbloods need to have jobs to survive. At this time, we have things pretty open at this time as there aren't many canon jobs established for demigods that survive to adulthood. All we ask is that you keep it realistic. Becoming a doctor requires several years of medical school, and the Healing Hands of a Child of Apollo won't cut it.
  11. Section 3: Time The site takes place in real world time, though admittedly a year behind (see Section 5 for more information about the setting/plot). That does not mean that if it takes you four months to complete a thread, those events took place over four months. Instead what it means is that whatever month you started the roleplay in is the month that roleplay took place. Additionally, it means that if you start a roleplay after starting another one, it generally took place after the other one. While it's certainly okay to start threads out of order during the same month, we do ask that you utilize the "Scenes from the Past" and "Scenes from the Future" forum for any threads that are not taking place within that same month. Subsection A: Aging Characters Since we operate "in real time", for every real world year we only age your character one year. That may seem slow, but it allows for quality RPs to develop and for real world events to occur without writers feeling rushed to reply. As such, aging is automatic. Your character will age up every single year on their birthday. It is incredibly helpful if you put the month and day of the birthday in your mini-profile so that staff can easily identify whose birthday it is to age them up! Subsection B: Past/Future Content If you want to post things that happen years in the future or past, please feel free to use the "Scenes from the Past" or "Scenes from the Future" content as is appropriate. Just because the site is operating in linear time, doesn't mean that every roleplay has to exist in linear time. Sometimes inspiration strikes!
  12. Section 2: In-Character Hierarchy It isn't always clear who is in charge when it comes to in-character interactions. Some things are intuitive, such as gods ranking higher than a demigod, but it may be unclear where other characters lay. While it's definitely true that certain characters are likely to have more information than others in very specific areas and should likely be deferred to in those instances--for example regarding gardening a child of Demeter will have the upperhand--we are only going to cover the general hierarchy in regards to chain of command--who can tell who what to do, as it were. This list goes in order from the highest authority to the lowest authority, and for in-character issues most should be escalated from the bottom up unless circumstances would prevent that. The Big Three: Zeus, Poseidon, and Hades are basically the top 3 gods and should, in essence, be in charge of everything. While Zeus is technically king (and therefore outranks Poseidon and Hades in instances where this matters), the other two are equally respected among other gods. Hera: As queen of the gods, it shouldn't surprise anyone that she's also high on the list. The Other Olympian Gods: This includes Demeter, Athena, Apollo, Artemis, Ares, Aphrodite, Hephaestus, Hermes, Hestia, and Dionysus. All Other Gods: Any god not previously mentioned. Chiron: At Camp Half-Blood he's basically the top authority, other than Dionysus. The Council of Cloven Elders: The leaders of the Satyrs. Satyrs: They've been around a long time and know things. The Oracle of Delphi, Rachel Elizabeth Dare: She is a seer and gives out the quests, after all. Cabin Leaders: Also called Head Counselors, they are in charge of their half-siblings and any other campers in their cabins. All Other Campers and Creatures: Pretty self-explanatory.
  13. Section 1: Canon Hierarchy As we know, there is a plethora of options for us to consider for canon now. Not all of them align appropriately, so here is the hierarchy in which our site follows canon when there are conflicts between items. The Books Riordan's Websites Riordan's Tweets The Movies The movies are last because they contradict the books frequently. Additionally, the Disney+ Series will be added in once it comes out and we can assess it appropriately for accuracy. It is tentatively scheduled to release in 2023. Subsection A: Some Important Canon Facts While this won't cover all canon facts that are enforced on the site, we thought it would be beneficial to cover a few basic things about Riordan's universe that may not be obvious if you haven't read the book series. Demigods must be claimed before their 13th birthday At the end of the last series, while making a deal with the gods, Percy made them swear to claim their children by their 13th birthday. This means that nobody can come to camp older than 12 years old for the first time. Demigods can't use communication technologies. Effectively, at one point in the series Riordan said that it 'made their scent stronger' so that they were easier to find. So demigods don't use things like cell phones, the internet, etc. because it lures monsters to them. Instead they communicate via Iris Message or old-fashioned letters. The Gods don't stick around. While it's true that we see the gods stick around a little bit for some rare campers here and there, the vast majority of the time it's a one-night stand. We enforce that on the site to help keep things in-line with canon. If everyone was 'the special one Ares stuck around a couple months for' then we would be breaking canon. So we don't let the godly parents stick around. Gods can die if they are forgotten or there isn't enough of their domain left. Pan dies in the series because he has no more of his domain left. Other gods are dead because they've been forgotten. As a result, 'minor' godly parents are restricted to those who have made an appearance in the books in some way. That way if Riordan later says some deity faded 200 years ago, we don't have to ask you to retire your character. Campers need permission to leave Camp Half-Blood. Campers can either attend camp for the summer only or year-round, but whichever they commit to they will need 'permission' to leave the camp and go out into The World from Dionysus or Chiron. That doesn't mean you as a writer need permission to post in that area on the forum. But it does mean that you should check that you're not creating several threads out in the world when your character is supposed to be at camp. You can RP having permission or not (your character being a rebel is 100% okay!), but be reasonable with the frequency. All Quests start with a Prophecy The Oracle of Delphi gives prophecies and that is how all quests begin. If you want your character to go on a quest, you'll want to work with Lilythe to create everything so the Oracle can give them a quest. Some notes on New Rome New Rome was introduced in the second series as a entire city that is safe for demigods. It's location is near Camp Jupiter, and has previously been for Roman demigods only. However, after the series Camp Half-Blood campers are able to attend the University there with blessings from the gods. This is rare, and rules for how this will work will be fleshed out when New Rome is added to the site. For now, if you have a camper that is 22 or older and want them to have attended New Rome's university, you'll need to include information about how they were able to attain the blessing of their parent to go.
  14. Article IV: Site Setting, Plot, and Structure This section will go over a wide variety of details about the world we are operating in on the site, and how things are impacted.
  15. Section 8: Available Godly Parents Since our site is a canon site, we honor the parentage that has been canonically seen, and additionally will work within canon to account for living minor gods that have the potential to bear children as well. Currently allowed parents include: Olympians and Major Deities Demeter Ares Athena Apollo Hephaestus Aphrodite Hermes Dionysus Iris Hypnos Nemesis Nike Hebe Tyche Hecate Minor Deities Eris Phobos Melinoe Kymopoleia Eurus Boreas Aristaeus Triton Khione Please Note: Minor Deities can only have 3 children at any one time (to help keep them as rare as they are supposed to be). This does not reset when other things on the board reset. So please check the Minor Gods as Parents and Abilities section to see if the above listed deities have room before applying. Subsection B of this section discusses how to go about seeking approval for a deity not listed here. Submitting a request will not guarantee approval, however it's always better to try than regret! Subsection A: Limited Abilities Every godly parent has a list of abilities associated with their children. Some of those abilities might be limited and require an application. The 20 canon cabins have their powers enumerated here children of minor deities have an alternative process that they go through, but those who are already on the board can be found here. Limited ability applications are done either at the time of character creation, or can be applied for later. Both require reserving the spot in the Claims. Please see the Character Claims for more information. Subsection B: Requesting a Minor Deity for Parent There are many deities beyond the 20 who we know canonically have cabins. Several of them are noted to have children as well throughout the series, even though they never have cabins built at camp. In an effort to reflect that, Camp Half-Blood Roleplay offers a pathway by which members can create campers who have other gods as parents. However, to ensure that canon is followed, the following procedures are in effect for those who would like to have minor gods as parents... Procedures: Check the list above to see if your minor god is on it. If they are, please proceed as if it were a normal application, there is no need to do anything different. If not, please contact ★Lilythe so that she may determine if it works in canon and, if so, begin working on developing a set of powers for them. Check the Character Claim to see if there is even an opening for Children of Minor Deities. This can be found at the bottom of the "Campers" section of the Character Claim. If there is, you may proceed with your application. If not, you will need to wait until a spot opens up. Since they are not common, we are not allowing too many at once. You may still do step 1, however, as it allows Lilythe additional time to create the information so it's ready once the claims reset. Once your application is posted, ★Lilythe will be directly part of your review team to ensure that Riordan and Site canon are in compliance as the Lore person for the site. In all other ways, the application process will still be the same. Limited powers may exist for some deities (just like with the others). If your desired parent has any, they will be listed in the Minor Gods as Parents thread (or if your god is new to the list, Lilythe will alert you in response to your inquiry). Subsection C : Artemis Canonically, Artemis does not have children. She does, however, enlist hunters. The hunters do not stay year round at camp, and instead follow Artemis. We will soon be introducing the way to have characters sign up to be a huntress of Artemis. Canonically hunters can only be female and cannot have romantic relationships. At this time Riordan has not indicated whether the must be female at birth or if trans females are permitted. Given how progressive Riordan is, in general, it is our belief that trans females would be permitted and we will rule it as such until canon says otherwise. However it is with the caveat that they must both be played respectfully and with understanding that if Riordan changes this in canon the site may have to retire the character (no matter how beloved they may be). Procedures: You must create a character first. Create a character as normal. For all hunters started out as campers at this stage in the game. Artemis does not recruit from the mortal world. Check the Character Claim to see if it is Open Recruitment for Hunters of Artemis. This can be found at the bottom of the "Campers" section of the Character Claim, underneath Artemis's cabin it will either read "Open for Recruitment" or "Closed for Recruitment". There is no limit to the number of hunters that Artemis may have, but she can only recruit more members when she is at camp. If it says "Open Recruitment", you will proceed to the pinned post in Cabin 8 and follow instructions. If not, you will need to wait until Artemis is back at camp. Sign up, and you will have a one on one roleplay with Artemis in which she explains the rules of joining with her. Please note that if your character breaks their oath, they will die. That is the cost of joining up with Artemis (you will also be reminded of this in the roleplay to ensure you understand). Your character will retain the powers they have from their godly parent, and will be blessed with additional powers from Artemis. Hunters of Artemis can never form romantic attachments including lesbian ones without breaking their oath and being killed. So please be sure that you want a Hunter of Artemis before making one... as the only way out is death for your character.
  16. Section 7: Regarding Families Anyone can create a family. We do require, however, that once the first member has been created that you not add any non-newborn members to the immediate family (i.e. we won't allow things like suddenly they have a 15 year old sister after you've been approved and it wasn't mentioned in your application), however adding uncles, cousins, etc. can be acceptable so long as they adhere to creating their immediate family appropriately. Newborns can be added at any time, provided that the mother is still within reasonable childbearing age. Subsection A: Multiple Births Since twins, triplets, etc. are a rare occurrence--and writers seem to have an affinity for creating them--we have decided to limit the number that may appear on the site at a given time. These will reset every year to allow opportunities for new writers to create more, but will help limit the quantity at any given point. When the new openings are released, all old claims will still be valid. Once you are approved for this and your application is accepted, that approval cannot be rescinded. You do not need to already have the writer present for the twin, however you do need to have them arrive at the same time to camp. So if you do not apply together, you will want to put up a wanted ad for the twin so that someone else can play them, but that character will have arrived at camp at the same time as your character when posting in-character.
  17. Section 6: Campers older than 12 There is an option to create older campers or adults without having to age them through the usual process. To do so you must request a slot on the claims (a spot must be available) and submit a modified profile of the camper that shows what that camper did during the time that would have already passed. (i.e. if you wish to make a 15 year old, you must explain what they did in their first and second years at camp.). More information can be found in the Character Claims thread in the Claims section of the board. Campers must have been claimed before the age of 13 per Percy's deal with the gods at the end of The Last Olympian. You may not create a character who is 13 or over that is not yet claimed.
  18. Section 5: Legacy Characters Legacies are a child that is less than half-blooded of a deity. For example, someone with 1/4 blood of Hermes would be a legacy of Hermes. Their parents were half-bloods (or less than half). There are 2 ways to create a legacy character. They are as follows: Pick Up a Child Want-Ad for 2 Existing Characters on the site: As we grow, we'll have characters that get older, fall in love, and start to have children of their own. These characters are automatically a legacy, as it wouldn't make sense for them not to be. A Want-Ad legacy must be 3 years old before they can be played. Purchase the Legacy Status at Character Creation: Since Legacies are born that way, not made, your character will need to be a legacy when they are born. You can "donate" drachmae from one of your existing characters to the new character account so that they have enough to purchase the award. Any purchased legacies will need to be at minimum 3 generations removed (they can be more if desired), and a legacy of the Big Three will need to be 5 generations removed. Additionally, it should be noted that Legacies do not have all the same abilities as full Half-Bloods. Their abilities are typically weaker, and they have fewer of them. The further removed they are, the fewer abilities from their godly ancestor they have. However on our site we will be creating a "pick and choose" list in which legacies can pick one major and one minor power from their ancestor, or 3 minor powers. Please see that list for more details. Furthermore, like some demigod powers, there will be "rare" powers that can be applied for as legacies if a spot is available. This rare power will replace your major power option. Finally, in present canon from Rick Riordan, Legacies only attend Camp Jupiter. This means that if your character isn't also a half-blood of another deity, they are not currently allowed at Camp Half-Blood. At this time we only have Camp Half-Blood so you'll need to be a Half-Blood of a deity, as well as a legacy. For example, half-blood child of Ares whose great grandfather was Apollo.
  19. Section 4: Mythical Creature Characters At this time we are not accepting applications for Mythical creatures. YET! We do have plans to introduce them once the site is large enough to justify their creation. At that time an announcement will be made and this section will be updated.
  20. Section 3: Children of Canon Characters At this time we do not allow descendants of characters from the books. This is in large part due to the logistics of the fact that canonically they are still in early adulthood, and any children would still be very young, if they exist at all. Additionally, Rick Riordan is still writing books. So to avoid conflicts with canon, as we are not an Alternate Universe site but a Post-Canon site, we cannot accept children of canon characters at this time.
  21. Section 2: The Big 3 and Hera The Big Three are, canonically, limited to their children. This means that we can't just allow a ton of them on the site, or that would break canon. We are a post-canon site, not an Alternate Universe site. As such, children of The Big Three will require an additional application when they are permitted. There will be announcements made when applications open for a child of The Big Three. At that time you will be able to reserve the spot and have 3 attempts to get your application approved before we move on to the next candidate. We will go in the order we received the reservations, and you may use an existing account to reserve the spot so that you don't make a new account without getting the character if you don't want to. Legacies of The Big Three must be Great Grandparent or further down the line (1/8 blood or less). Likewise, canonically there are no children of Hera. Our Site Canon Child of Hera happens post-canon and therefore is currently the only one in existence. This requires a canon application as the character belongs to the site.
  22. Section 1: The Application Process All original and wanted ad characters require an application. This application must be completed with the site template, and reported as completed in appropriate thread in the applications forum. Once you've completed your application and alerted the staff that it has been completed, staff will review it. Your application will be reviewed by 2 staff members to ensure minimal bias (positive or negative) in character approval, pending, or denial. At any point you may check the Under Review Applications thread and see who has been assigned to review your application. The Prefix assigned will denote where it's at in the application process. Once the process is complete, you will be given the appropriate response. Those with a pending or denial response will also have a letter containing reasons. A brief walkthrough on posting your initial application can be found here. You have 21 days to submit an application for review before we will consider it inactive. If your application falls inactive, don't panic! It's easily revived by submitting Reactivation Request in the Help forum. We just archive things to help keep the site from getting too cluttered. If your application is pended, you will have an additional 21 days to make the appropriate edits. Subsection A: Stages of Application Each stage of the application process is denoted by a prefix. The prefix indicates what you are, and are not, allowed to do during that stage. Please note that the staff can see time stamps of when things have last been edited, so we can tell when these rules have not been appropriately followed. In Progress...: If your application has this prefix, it means you've not submitted it for our review yet. You have free reign to edit this application as many times as you need to. Your final edit, once you complete it, will require you to change it to "Ready for Review" so we know it's ready for us to look at! Last Week Warning: This prefix sounds scarier than it is. It simply means that it's been 2 weeks since you've started your application (or had it pended last, if it's already been reviewed) so 14 of your 21 days have been used and we're just trying to warn you about the limited time you have left to complete your edits. You may still edit your application during this stage. Ready for Review: This means you've completed your application and are ready for staff to look at it. During this phase, ideally you shouldn't be editing it because it should be completed. However, it's still okay to, since staff hasn't started looking at it yet. We all understand that you may have realized you forgot to fix a sentence or change the birthdate. It happens! We just ask that you try not to switch to this until you really are ready. Under Review: Do not touch your application. Staff is reviewing it to determine whether it will be approved or not, and any edits will interfere with that process and make it take longer. Approved: As the name implies, it means your application was approved by staff. It can no longer be edited. An approved application is the standard staff will be holding your character to when they make judgments on any posting snafus. Pending: Your application needs some tweaks. You should get a PM from the staff members who reviewed your application. Go ahead and edit to make your necessary tweaks, and put it as "Ready for Review" again once it's ready. Denied: This indicates that a character is not appropriate for our site, and we don't see a way to reconcile it with our standards. We try to use this very sparingly. Subsection B: Read This Article! There are many Do's and Don'ts for character creation. The major ones are all touched on in this article. Please don't skip any section, even if you think you know it! It is hard to detail everything about applications in one section and still keep it all relevant and to the point, so we broke up all the information into sections. Each section is important!
  23. Article III: Character Creation The most important part of any site is ensuring that we have characters that people want to interact with. We also, however, have to protect certain categories to ensure that they maintain their uniqueness. So to make sure that happens the staff here as created the following rules to help you understand how character creation works here on the Camp Halfblood RP.
  24. Section 6: Character Limits Since we require a profile to be completed before sorting, we don't have a character limit per se. However we do ask that all members be realistic about how many characters they can keep active. If you are already struggling to keep active, please do not create another character. The requirements before creating a new character are as follows: 25 in-character posts on your most recent account At least 2 weeks since previous application's approval to allow staff to look at other members' applications All other account active within the last week (as determined by an in-character post, not login)
  25. Section 5: Wanted Ad Accounts There is a list of wanted ad characters that may be applied for, you are welcome to apply for one at any time. Their profiles may or may not have been completed already depending upon whether the request has been fulfilled before or not. These characters typically fulfill a need for another character for their Personal Plot, should they have one, or other needs. Wanted Ad characters belong to the person who created the wanted ad and by applying for one you acknowledge that should you leave, or be relieved of your character, it is within the site's right to remove that character from your possession and give it to another member at the writer's discretion. Anyone creating issues from this will be issued a warning. In all other ways, these accounts are effectively the same as a Character Account.
