The Blue team was given a new directive after their flag was captured, they were to head into the Southern part of the forest and set their flag upon it once more. The team trekked into the forest, and managed to set their flag. Hopefully it would be protected well enough to prevent the red team from finding it.

A new event just started and Jules was a participant. He didn’t want to but it divided all houses into two teams so he had no other options. As a new camper, he was explained the rules before entering the game, Capture the Flag. It seemed that he just needed to grab the blue flag if he saw it. The difficulty here is it was not just that easy. There was guards everywhere to guard the flag while his team also needed people to guard their flag too. Jules was one of those attackers so he tried to find blue falg somewhere in the forest while holding his sword. He did practice the whole time but he couldn’t defeat experienced campers. He heard the camper could die in this game. As his sister hadn’t been claimed, she was still in Hermes cabin and was in the blue team. If he met her, he would beat her to take the flag, no mercy xD She would do the same as him. Finally, he spotted the blue flag in the south wood while he could spot some campers were guarding it. He held his breath, hid himself behind the tree then suddenly grabbed the flag and ran.

Shi Jin wasn’t just a defender but an attacker too! He knew how to combat and run so he decided to go to the blue team’s base again to attempt the capture with his team. It was such a good day today with the leaves beating each other and the wind blowing through soundly. He walked slowly as some of them were ahead of him already. They had enough people guarding the flag and he would make his return later. For now he waited at the trees just across the flag , covering their team member while they steal the flag.

James stood guard as he wanted to help his team protect the flag. So far the blue team had been off to a good start but he wanted to bring some luck to his team. Hiding up in a tree he would jump down to surprise anyone who might come at the flag. Wondering where the others might be. James thought about his girlfriend who was just stunning. He could not believe that Rissa was his after all this time. There had been some dark days before but not any longer!!! His life was looking better than it had been in such a long time!

Finley sprinted through the dense forest, his heart pounding with excitement as he neared the enemy's flag. As he emerged from the thicket, he caught sight of the flag fluttering in the distance, unguarded and tempting. A surge of adrenaline coursed through his veins, propelling him forward with determined strides. Unbeknownst to Finley, James, a cunning opponent, concealed himself high up in a towering tree, patiently waiting for the perfect moment to strike. Oblivious to the hidden danger lurking above, Finley pressed on, his focus fixated on the glorious victory that awaited him just a few steps away. Going for the flag....would he get it?

Penelope had played in her share of playground games but the rules as it had been explained seemed pretty rough. She had left the sword behind but had a large bronze shield strapped to her back that she could just about hold if she used both hands. Once the flag had been set in place she had used the watchful eyes of some of the rest of Red team to let her pull together some defences for the flag using ropes as pull traps and tripwires in the dense forest of the south woods.

The net was a simple enough trap, designed to block off access to anyone trying to come through the undergrowth, having made sure there weren't many paths that anyone bigger than her could navigate.

She had been lying in the underbrush near the flags waiting to see if she could catch someone as they tried to do it, worst case it would stop the access through and as the surf child of Iris headed up the path she pulled the rope to block the path and hopefully scoop him up.

"Not today!"

Elena made sure she had kept check of the capturing as it was going fast. Way too fast. But she didn’t forget to enjoy the games as well. Combat was their specialty hence she was holding her dagger weapon all along since she didn’t want to carry much heavier and longer weapon around. Easy to run and track. She noticed a blue team member from afar as she was patrolling so it wasn’t clear. It was until one of her team members Penelope stepped up that she was curious and went back to the base to gather with James as well. Ohhh Finley. She was smiling and watching but not moving as she didn’t know how to react towards him as an opponent.

Finley's heart raced as he closed in on the enemy's flag, his eyes fixed on the tantalizing prize. He could practically taste victory in the air. But just as he reached out to grasp the flag, a sudden commotion caught his attention. He turned his head to see Penelope, armed with a shield and cleverly rigged traps, engaged in a strategic defense of their own flag.  Caught off guard, Finley's excitement turned into a momentary hesitation. He quickly assessed the situation, realizing that his teammate had created a cunning barricade to protect their flag. The sight of Penelope's determination fueled his own resolve. He couldn't let her efforts go to waste. Determined to overcome the obstacles, Finley scanned the surroundings for an alternative path. That was when he tried another way towards the flag.

Becca wasn’t going to let the opponent get the flag much less go near it. She was there all along but she didn’t come out as she was gathering supplies to use. Weapons of sort. Then came a few of the blue team and she managed to spread the news while looking after the base. She wasn’t going to let anyone near their flag so she stepped forward this time with her sword her friend had taught her. “Not a chance!!”

Finley's heart pounded in his chest as he veered off the original path, seeking an alternative route towards the enemy flag. His determination burned within him, and he couldn't let Penelope's ingenious defense go unchallenged. As he maneuvered through the dense undergrowth, a familiar voice cut through the tension-filled air.  Becca's resolute declaration echoed through the forest, sending a surge of adrenaline coursing through Finley's veins. He knew she was there, standing guard, ready to defend their flag with all her might. The sight of her brandishing a sword she had learned to wield fueled Finley's determination even further. With a renewed sense of purpose, Finley quickened his pace, skillfully avoiding any potential traps that Becca might have set up. He knew that reaching the enemy flag wouldn't be easy, not with Becca standing in his way. But he was ready to face the challenge head-on. As he closed in on the final stretch, Finley's gaze locked onto the flag, his focus sharpened to a razor's edge. Becca's presence, her unwavering determination, only intensified his resolve. He could almost taste victory, the exhilaration of a hard-fought triumph. With a deep breath, he pushed forward, ready to clash with Becca in a fierce battle of skill and strategy, knowing that the outcome would determine the fate of their teams.

Elena was watching them from afar, but ready to strike. She was waiting for someone from her team to strike first as she would stay back to see any possible and hindsight enemy around who might distract them and steal the flag. She wasn’t going to fall for that. Instead, she stepped up with her hands raised side by side, blocking Finley’s way. It was the ultimate method she would use to him as she didn’t want to hurt him either. Even if the games were meant to be brutal she didn’t want to use that actually. Call it her mother’s instincts or traits, she had her blood and she was not just about fury and rage like her father. Not reckless. Well sometimes. She was going to decide the kind of demigod she was going to be. Still she was facing her opponent and she hoped dearly that he wouldn’t fight her. If he would though she had to prepare for the worst.

Finley's determination burned fiercely as he closed in on the enemy flag, his focus fixated on the coveted prize. However, as he reached the final stretch, his path was unexpectedly blocked by Elena. She stood before him, her hands raised in a defensive stance, effectively cutting off his way forward. Caught off guard by Elena's sudden appearance, Finley's initial instinct was to charge forward, fueled by the intensity of the competition. But as he looked into Elena's eyes, a mix of determination and hesitation flickered within him. He could sense something different about her, a resolve that wasn't driven solely by the need for victory. "You are going to have to fight me Elena.....I will try and get around you even if I don't have a sword" he said with a smile.

Elena was still raising her hands on defense as she didn’t want anyone to take the flag. It was part of the game rules anyways. Though her body didn’t seem to want to fight today haha, though she would if the situation calls her to. But it was her surfing hot mentor so what could she say. "And I don’t have either……..but okay as you wish." She smiled warmly as just about to do a friendly fight. She’ll see where it goes but for now she would defend the flag first. She put down her hands and gathered together , ready to attack. It seems like she was going to attack but she was more towards the defense side today. Whenever a hit comes she would block it, as much as possible to buy time for her team.

Finley's smile widened as Elena responded, ready to engage in a friendly battle despite the absence of weapons. He admired her spirit and determination, even as she remained focused on defending the flag. With a shared understanding, they both knew that their actions were driven by the nature of the game. Elena positioned herself in a defensive stance, Finley prepared to make his move. He cautiously advanced, his movements calculated and deliberate. He respected Elena's skills and knew that he would need to fight him. This would only make it fun as it was hand to hand combat.  Feinting to the left, Finley quickly shifted his weight to the right, attempting to create an opening in Elena's guard. He aimed to exploit any small opening that presented itself, his agility and quick reflexes coming into play. Despite the friendly nature of their duel, his determination remained unwavering. He wanted to prove himself and show Elena the extent of his capabilities, all while respecting the boundaries of their contest.

Azrael stayed back near the flag watching the two campers squaring off. He saw this as much as a learning lesson as much as a part of the game.

He knew how quickly a game of capture the flag could flare up and the tensions that it brought to those on both sides of the field.

He took the time to feel down at his pocket for the supplies of ambrosia he had just encase and watched the two begin to square off while keeping an eye out for others sneaking up on the flags position.

Elena waved her hand as Finley started bending towards one side . They were quick into action and she noticed how fast Finley was even for a non-Ares-or-Athena. They were used to battleships and she knew other cabins weren’t that much good in combat. So she was swaying a little admiring the little acts from the Iris boy before closing in to stop him from nearing the flag. She smiled as she knew how the fight would be and it was not rough at all. She could though given that she was daughter of bloodlust and war, but she could control it. She saw how good his reflexes were and was hoping it continues , just like how she watched him surf.

Finley's heart raced as he engaged in the hand-to-hand combat with Elena, his focus honed on their movements and strategies. As their battle unfolded, he felt a surge of excitement and energy coursing through his veins. With each feint and parry, Finley became more attuned to Elena's style of fighting. He observed her movements, looking for patterns and vulnerabilities. He realized that their friendly duel was not just a test of physical strength, but also a test of wit and adaptability. As Elena closed in, attempting to prevent him from reaching the flag, Finley responded with agility and precision. He swiftly evaded her attempts to block his path, relying on his reflexes and quick thinking. He anticipated her next move, sidestepping and countering with well-timed strikes. He didn't want to hurt her but also wanted to get to the flag but even Azrael was there so this was an added challenge!

(xD missed it sobs )

They had turned into a hand to hand combat very quickly each giving in and out at the same time. Elena had been careful as she didn’t want to break Finley’s bones with her Ares superstrength. She also wanted to perform well in front of him, and it’s not just about the defence right now. She moved in equal pace watching his every move as well. Much like how smooth he surfed he picked up her pace very quickly. She smirked, seeing how fast he could react to match with her skill and agility. She grew more admiration towards him during the little combat. She took one of the chances as he neared the flag even more , to jump towards him, or on him. Yeah on him. That’s a way to stop someone too! But in an intimate way ahhh. She couldn’t risk the flag being taken away either but yeah that was the ultimate, and while giving time to Azrael her fellow teammate to work on his fabulous plan.

Sage was given instructions by her older sister Samantha to guard the flag as she off doing some with Evelyn. Wondering what those two could be doing together as she thought they hated each other! Shaking her head she found herself ready for any attack that might come her way. Loukas should be off somewhere close? She knew he hated being up if the sun was up so she was there alone. Would team red come at her? They had lost the flag several times now but this time she was defending!

Shi Jin was ready for another round of capturing and he knew where to find it as he was near the base yet again. He would be there whenever he can and besides he was fast enough. He had done some training beforehand today before heading towards the flag point. He wanted to be prepared for the worse being ahead. Smiling he walked directly to the flag to get it.

Loukas scanned the area, his senses heightened as he observed the surroundings from a hidden vantage point. He was eager to join the game and support Sage in their mission to defend the flag. He watched Shi Jin confidently approach the flag, a surge of competitive spirit coursed through Loukas. He couldn't let the enemy team succeed, not while Sage was relying on him. With stealthy agility, he darted out from his hiding spot, swiftly maneuvering through the dense forest. With a burst of speed, he lunged forward putting himself between Shi Jin and the flag. "We won't let them take this flag!" he called out to his girlfriend.
