Camp Half-Blood RP

Just a little bro time

It was summer. There had be many new campers these last couple weeks. Which honestly never really shocked Dustin. Once he had been able to understand things he knew that the gods really did like having flings with mortals. His father in particular. He had loads of half brothers and sisters and he knew that there were more that still to young to even be here. He was happy to know this and at the same time extremely sad, since he knew what he went through when he was younger. He huffed as he whipped the sweat from his face and pushed his ever growing hair back on his head. He would have to have a hair cut soon. At the moment he was able to pull it back halfway into a ponytail which was something new for him all together.

Rolling his shoulders some he walked over to his bag and pulled out a water bottle. His eyes scanned the land. Watching the campers as they went about their own days. A smile graced his lips as he noticed a certain Tyche child walking around. "JAMES!" he called out to him, lifting his arm in the air trying to get his attention. There was always something about the guy that Dustin liked. He wasn't sure when it happened or if it had always been there. But regardless, he was one of the many people that were able to bring him out of those rages that he sometimes got into.

James was out and about checking on some of the new campers. He was having a good summer so far as there had been a stream of new campers that had arrive. Some were a bit too young so he wanted to make sure they were getting on okay. That was when he was walking across the camp when his name was called. With a grin that grew on his face he looked over to see an old friend “Dustin” he called back then rushing over him way. He was happy to see him as the last time he saw him Dustin had been on a mission to get a young one out of trouble. He told of a monster that was attacking the girls father. Getting closer to him he. Called out “ so man what ya up to?” He said with a grin on his face. James was hoping they could hang out so it was nice to have some older campers around

Dustin couldn't help but smile as the older boy got to him. "Not much man, just training, you wanna have a go. I think I'm a bit rusty." he shrugged with a small laugh thinking about it. It had been a little bit, if he didn't count the whole fight with the monster trying to save one of the newest campers. Which brought him to think about the young girl. She was eight. However, that had been a little thing that wouldn't stopped bugging him. "How's Octavia?" he questioned a little, hoping that the girl was doing fine now. He had wondered what it was that made him so protective over her. Was it because she was so young or was it that he got to play hero and was able to help save the girl from dyeing? He wasn't sure. He looked at the older camper once more before his mind began wandering again.

James had made it to Dustin when Dustin asked if he wanted to train!!! James knew Dustin could kick his but in most of the hand to hand stuff or even with weapons but he was always open to get better. "Of course my friend" he nodded looking around to see if there was a weapon. Then turning back he noticed that his friend seemed troubled a bit and he asked the question that must have been on his mind. Octavia!!! He should have known. James put his hand on dustin's shoulder. "She is going to be alright thanks to you" he gave him a smile before continuing. "Who knows if the gods will make her wait to be claimed or if she will claimed this summer!" Then looking around once more he took his hand of dustin's should and walked over to a place of swords. He picked two up and handed one to dustin.
