  1. James took the book from Shi Jin and flipped through the pages, scanning the descriptions of the different water monsters. "These are great suggestions, bro!" he exclaimed, pointing to the entries as he spoke. "The hippocampus would be a good one to start with. It's like a horse with a fish tail, pretty fascinating creature. And the sea serpent...we can talk about the legends and stories surrounding that one." As James continued to read through the book, he came across the entry for the sirens. "Ah, here they are," he said, showing Shi Jin the page. "The sirens were said to be enchanting creatures that lured sailors with their beautiful voices. Maybe we can talk about their mythology and how they were depicted in different cultures." Excitement grew in James as he and Shi Jin brainstormed ideas for the class. They discussed various aspects of each monster, from their origins to their appearances, and even came up with interactive activities to engage the campers. James couldn't help but feel grateful for his brother's input and enthusiasm. With a renewed sense of purpose, James made notes in his notebook, jotting down the ideas they had come up with together. He knew that with Shi Jin's help, the monster mythology class was going to be a hit, and the campers would have a blast learning about these fascinating creatures from the depths of the sea. But then realizing he hadn't even checked in with how Shi Jin was doing he stopped "So what are you up to these days?"
  2. James looked at Arsen, his eyes filled with a mix of contemplation and empathy. He understood the struggle of hiding parts of oneself to fit in, and he appreciated Arsen's honesty in sharing his own experiences. He knew this trip was going to be good for him but he could see that it was good for Arsen too. Taking a moment to gather his thoughts, James replied, "You know, Arsen, I can relate to what you're saying. Growing up, I often felt the need to put on a mask, to present myself in a certain way to be accepted by others." He took a thoughtful sip of his whiskey, letting the flavors dance on his palate before continuing. "There were times when I felt like I had to suppress certain aspects of who I truly was, just to be that good cabin leader they always expected of me to be....I was james the cool headed one...the one that people always went to but who did I go to when things go rough with Amber or when I wanted to bash Kyle head in?" James paused, searching for the right words to convey his feelings. "I've realized there is a difference though, from being myself of who I am or the person running wild. because I am running from something that deep down is bothering me." He raised his glass, meeting Arsen's gaze with a sense of camaraderie. James looked at Arsen, his mind drifting to his own past struggles. Memories of his lowest points resurfaced, and he couldn't help but feel a pang of vulnerability. He took a deep breath, trying to steady himself, as he reflected on the painful chapters of his life. As Arsen continued to talk, James listened intently, but his thoughts raced back to the moments when he hit rock bottom. The pain of losing Amber and Rissa, the two great loves of his life, had sent him spiraling into a dark place. In his desperation, he turned to alcohol and gambling, seeking solace and escape from the unbearable weight of his emotions. He remembered the nights spent drowning his sorrows in whiskey, the thrill of the casino as he chased the high of a winning hand, only to be left emptier than before. Those were the times when he felt like he was at the bottom of the barrel, lost and adrift in a sea of self-destruction. But as James glanced at Arsen, a glimmer of hope flickered within him. He realized that they both had experienced their own versions of darkness, yet here they were, sharing their stories and finding solace in each other's company. Maybe, just maybe, their friendship could be a source of strength and healing for both of them. With a renewed sense of determination, James raised his glass, his voice filled with a mix of gratitude and resolve. "So here's to being true to ourselves, to breaking free from the masks we wear, and to embracing the journey of self-discovery together. Thank you for sharing your story, Arsen, and for reminding me that we're all on this path of finding our true selves."
  3. James relished in the sight of Rissa's pleasured expressions and the way her body responded to his touch. He could feel her desire building, her wetness coating his fingers as he skillfully explored her most sensitive spots. Her gasps and moans fueled his own excitement, knowing that he was driving her wild with anticipation. When she called out his name, it sent a surge of pride through him, knowing he was delivering the pleasure she craved. As he looked up at Rissa, James couldn't help but smirk, his eyes locked with hers. Her need was evident, her body arching towards him, silently begging for more. He nodded, understanding her unspoken plea, and slowly removed his fingers, savoring her intoxicating taste on his lips. He wanted to take his time, to make her crave him even more. Kissing his way down her body, he relished in the way her skin reacted to his touch, every sensation amplified. On his knees now, James positioned himself between Rissa's legs, ready to give her the pleasure she desired. Her moans and the way she moved her hips only fueled his own hunger. He met her gaze, his eyes filled with lust and adoration, as his tongue replaced his fingers, exploring her with a deliberate and passionate intent. The taste of her drove him wild, and he eagerly used his mouth to elicit more sounds of ecstasy from her.
  4. As James watched Jules pace around the room, he couldn't help but feel a sense of empathy towards the young camper. He knew all too well the feeling of abandonment and the uncertainty that came with it. As the son of Tyche, he was all too familiar with the whims of the gods and their seeming lack of interest in their mortal offspring. Plus being young, it was as if a major trauma was being dropped into their lives. "All of them, maybe around a couple hundred campers are here" he said with a sad tone. "You can only get to this camp if you have a mother or father of a god...making you a demi-god." James sat back as he thought about the next point Jules brought up. Thinking if this was a possibility. He had seen twins before and even knew of Jason Grace who had a sister Thalia which that was extremely rare. "I mean since you don't know if you have the same mother...its a possibility but a very small one. She might be a child of another God." Taking in a big sigh he nodded his head as he knew where the God's were. Looking over to the side table he got a magazine with the empire state building on it. Picking it up he pointed to it. "Mount Olympus moves to where the power is in the world, which for now is the United States. So the God's are here" he pointed above the top of the building. "I have only seen my mom when I fought in the last war with all the God's." This was one of the things he was did not talk about too much. Because of the thoughts of all the demi-gods that died. But bringing himself out of that he smiled once again as he knew it wasn't this campers fault for wanting to understand. "Yes, Percy Jackson made them promise after helping them win a war against the titans that they would claim all their children by age 13....so soon you both will know your parents. At least your Godly one."

  6. James grinned as Shi Jin opened the door. "Hey, little bro. Sorry to wake you up. I need your help with something." James knew he could always count on his brother for help when he needed it most. The two were not too far apart in age which was nice. Like most of the campers in the cabin, he was the one of the ones he didn't have to worry about looking after. "It's for my monster mythology class at the camp," James explained. "I was thinking we could cover water monsters, like the Charybdis and sirens. Do you have any ideas?" He started to teach this class when he was around 17 or 18 years old. So being 23 it meant he had several years of teaching this over and over. He didn't want it to become boring....you know! So asking for a help on redoing some of the lessons was a good place to start!
  7. James was so shocked that Andralyn was turning sweet 16 already as he remembered when she showed up at the cabin all those years ago. The girl was sweet ....at TIMES while on other times she made him want to pull his hair out! But that was what siblings did best right? Speaking of siblings, he went to find Octavia who was working on a craft for her sister. Looking over at her, she showed him the card which he had a big grin. "That looks amazing Ocatvia, Andralyn is going to love it...I just know it! " The two were hand in hand as they went to their cabin where the party was supposed to be. But getting to the cabin , Ocativia dropped his hand as she raced to their half sister. "HAPPY BIRTHDAY ANDRALYN" he said knowing this would not be the only time he would say that tonight. He could see a good amount of people showed up, even that Theo kid that got knocked out at Volleyball.
  8. James looked at Arsen thoughtfully, considering his words. He knew that everyone had different sides to them, and it didn't bother him that Arsen might have been different outside of camp. What mattered was the friendship they shared now, and the experiences they were creating together. "Well, we all have parts of ourselves that we don't necessarily show to others," James said, trying to reassure his friend. "What's important is that we're friends now, and I'm glad I get to see the side of you that you choose to show at camp." As their drinks arrived, James took a sip of his whiskey, relishing the smooth burn as it went down his throat. "Besides," he continued, "I'm sure there are aspects of my life that you don't know about either. We all have our secrets and our pasts. What matters is how we grow and learn from them. With a slight smile, James raised his glass in a toast. "To friendship, growth, and discovering new sides of ourselves," he said, clinking his glass with Arsen's. They both took a drink, the warmth of the alcohol spreading through them as they settled into the evening, ready for whatever adventure lay ahead in the lively streets of Barcelona.
  9. James knew this was all going to be a lot for anyone to understand or believe. He was hoping the fact that monsters came after him in the middle of the night as well as a satyr bringing them to camp would make him more inclined to it but from the look on the boys face he could tell it wasn't going well. While he sat in silence he talked to Sandra about the Greek Gods "Great, we most of what you know may be true as their is some things that have changed over time." But his gaze went back to Jules as he was upset "Yes as a matter of fact, the only way to get into camp is from a barrier that only demi-gods can get past." He finished saying as he shook his head no. "I wish it was" James knew this was a lot to put on kids so young, Heck he was even around the age of ten years old when he got to camp to learn about his parent. Then he wasn't even claimed until he was thirteen. "The Greek Gods go where the power goes which for now is over the united states which is why mount olympus is over the empire state building." Pausing for a moment he watched to see that Sandra was getting better from the color of her skin. Happy to see they had luck on their side to get her well. "Hopefully your parents will claim you soon. I mean they must claim you by the age of thirteen but for now you two will be in the hermes cabin with Lilythe."
  10. James watched at the Apollo camper started to sing a hymn which would be a good start to this all, next they would give her a bit of Ambrosia. But just a little as he did not want to see her get feverish. But now he was trying to distract this new camper who arrived with the hurt camper. "Yes, Apollo is the Greek God over healing, but don't worry we will give her some ambrosia after to heal anything left." James knew this probably sounded crazy to the new camper but soon enough it would become his reality. It was never easy for the new campers as it always seemed that tragedy followed them all the way to camp. James nodded as as listened to him as he spoke. "I see and yes you both are demi-gods as you would not be able to come into camp if you were not ones." This of course did not explain everything but he wanted to make sure the girl was okay. Seeing her stir once the hymn was done he went to her side pulling out a bottle with Ambrosia "Hey stay still.......you are safe with your brother here......just eat a little of this" he said in a kind voice as she took the little bit of Ambrosia. Turning back to Jules he took in a deep breath "First the Greek Gods you learned about in school are real. They live in Olympus.......A demi-god are children from when the Gods have children with a mortal. My dad was a normal mortal but had me with my mom which is Tyche, goddess of luck."
  11. James could tell this new camper was in distress as he grabbed James's hand to move him to his sister. Trying to keep up with the story of what happened, you never knew what might be going on in the lives of these campers before they got to camp. Most of the time it was unpleasant. "Of course we can" he said instinctively as he got to the girl seeing that she was hurt. James looked to the boy who had gotten him "Well you two are in the right place, follow me" he said bending down to pick the girl up carefully. Taking to the big house was the first step as they needed the Apollo camper that was on duty that could heal her. Maybe they would give her some nectar or Ambrosia. Being careful not to hurt the girl more he was worried as it had been some time since someone showed up in this condition. Getting back inside the house he called out for the camper "Apollo Camper on duty we need you" James put the girl down on the couch in the living room as to make sure she was comfortable. That was when the Apollo Camper came around the corner. Soon enough they were first singing a hymn to Apollo in Greek asking for healing. This was something he had seen a lot but he made sure to step back to give the demi-god room to do his thing. Turning to Jules he asked "Okay tell me what happened? She should be fine as they will heal her."
  12. James was sitting at the front desk when his stomach gave a growl. He was getting hungry and knew that it was about time to eat. But his shift wasn't over so he couldn't go to the dining pavilion just yet. So getting up he walked over to the kitchen to see if anything was still in the room. Digging he did not hear the front open as he then found something to grab when a voice rang out. "Oh snap" he said as he put the jar of peanut butter down as he walked back to see a boy standing there. "Yes it is, did you just arrive? What sort of help do you need?" James wanted to make sure it wasn't urgent cause if it was then he would take care of it now. But if it was something that could be taken care of later he would sit the new camper down, to have the talk about life as a demi-god.
  13. James grinned, he could see in Rissa's eyes the effect his touch was having on her. Not only did her eyes betray her, her body did too as his fingers felt the wetness of her sex, saw the goosebumps that spread over her bare skin and heard the short gasps of breath that escaped her lips each time his fingers lightly grazed over the spot Rissa wanted attention at the most. 'James' Hearing her call out his name in that needy tone verified that he was doing exactly what he should be. "Yes dear?" he said in a faux innocent tone as he looked up at her. He knew his actions were teasing her in just the right way, giving her a preview of potential pleasures yet to come. As his fingers touched her pussy he took his time kissing his way down her lithe body as he slowly sank down to his knees. Starting at her breasts, down the center, then side of her stomach before stopping at the waistline. His eyes looked up and locked eyes with hers one final time for confirmation before he removed his fingers and replaced them with his mouth. Then his tongue began to mimic what his fingers had done only seconds before as he tasted his love.
  14. James had been friends with Arsen for quite some time but still the man was a mystery to him at times. Not really knowing what his life was always like or even being apart of most of it. James listened as Arsen began to talk about the things had happened the last time he was in Spain. James began to wonder if all of Arsen's life was like this or was it just bits and pieces? "Umm whiskey on the rocks" he said quickly as he could just imagine the situation. "Well if I would have been there maybe you would have had luck on your side with the girl" he joked with his friend. Most called him their lucky A in the bag when he was younger. Trying to take them on their wild adventures hoping that James would get them out of trouble and have fun. He didn't mind it of course as he love being included on fun adventures.
  15. James was writing his next class up as he was pacing back and forth trying to get ideas of what to cover. He had taken over this class for the camp when he became a cabin leader. He had often gone to his young half brother Shi Jin for help as the two were close in age. Between the two of them they should have some luck to come up with a good class right? Grabbing his notebook he walked out of his room as he then knocked on his brothers door. Waiting for him to answer, James walked up and down the hall "Maybe we could go over water monsters like the Charybdis or even sirens. Nooooooo maybe they would think that is dumb." Going back to the door he knocked again "Hey Shi Jin, you got a moment. I need your help." Well he was going to have to wait until his brother either stirred in his room or maybe he was at the big house. @ Park Shi Jin
  16. James had been out all day doing Cabin Leader stuff from teaching to talking to the new campers who had come into the camp. It was a long day so when he hit his bed, he was out, like a log. Not seeing any of the stuff scattered over the cabin and in the hallway from Andrayln's room. So when he awoke the next morning he first laid there for some time trying to just get the motivation to get up. His bladder was weighing on him which finally helped him make the decision to get up. "AHHHHHHHHHHH" he said as he pulled himself out of the bed as he head out of his room and towards the bathroom, when a streak of red hair jumped in front of him and shut the door. "ANDRALYN" he called as he pounded the door. "COME ON, I HAVE TO GO" but of course the shower turned on and he was ignored. Frustrated he turned around to see the mess that had to be from none other than Adralyn herself. The girl was surely messier than a pig!!! Shaking his head he ran his hands through his hair trying to figure out what all this stuff was that he seemed to be collecting. @ Andralyn O'Dell
