Zeus's Fist

The Chronicler

Recommended Posts

Azrael started to scout the general vicinity of the rocks, aiming for a good approach to sneak up and through towards the point. He had been up here in the defenders place but knew it would be a tough climb and even harder to stay out of sight while he did. He really didn't want to lead the younger campers up and onto the craggy tops of Zeus' Fist though.

He also hadn't seen sign of any of the older campers of the Blue team and was beginning to feel he was overdoing it against the younger campers that had been on the field so far. Catching sight of Killian though was enough to expect a potent challenge if he was seen. From his concealed position though the big guy seems to be at least a little distracted looking out over the forest grounds.

Azrael decided it would be a now or never chance to pluck the flag out from under him, if he could just sneak close enough to grab it...

Azrael was able to grab the flag and make a break for the Red Team's base. It was a long and arduous journey, with Killian hot on his heels. But eventually she was able to take it back to the Red Team's base, claiming 1 point for her team.

Red has successfully captured the Blue Team's flag, Blue Team your flag will be placed in a new location (check your PMs).

The Blue team was given a new directive after their flag was captured, they were to head back to Zeus's Fist and set their flag upon it once more. The team trekked into the forest, and managed to set their flag. Hopefully it would be protected well enough to prevent the red team from finding it.

Kenna had been good on defending the flag before but now she wanted to do more! She wanted to be the one to capture the dang thing. So as she made her way through the woods there were a couple people she avoided as she did not want to get captured or go to jail.......not just yet! Stefan had been with her before with his African Dog but now it was just her as she scouted. That was when she saw it!!!! The blue flag was by Zeus's fist and she saw only a few other blue team guarding it. Tiptoeing over to the spot, she pulled out one of her machines. This time it was a rat but even though it was a small mechanical rat there was so much more to it. With a smirk she placed it on the ground and began to watch it go over to the spot she wanted it too.

Seeing it position its self in between the blue team she had the thing go off with smoke and loud noise. Making it hard for anyone to keep their position. Kenna then rushed forward to get the flag. But would she get it?

Emberlynn scrambled once more up to Zeus' Fist. The light was waning now, and she was certain that soon the final call would be made. The game would come to an end, and all the excitement of their forest warfare would come to a close. But there was still a little time. A little time, when the enemy team might be relaxing, sure of their victory. Honestly, Ember was pretty sure of their victory herself. Their side was full of big, strong warrior types and hers appeared full of... well, people like her. Young, inexperienced, and physically rather small. The little rainbow girl paled in comparison to the sons and daughters of Ares, Nike, and the like. She was sure there were people of their caliber on her own team as well - she probably just hadn't met up with any of them. But she couldn't fathom anyone being able to measure up to Sir Azrael and his gang.

What she failed to realize was that, in a sense, she had already done so. Despite her size and inexperience, her tenacity had carried her further in this game than anyone could have expected. And now here it was. One last chance. The final hours, and one last flag to reach for...
