The Chronicler

Zoren was busy dealing with the red team campers, most of which he was able to outsmart through combat. After seeing that they are leading, he was constantly finding holes in their defense so he can guide his teammates for them to break through. His strategies are good but they aren't a shortcut to victory which was why he and chosen specific campers to be leaders of their group. He can't communicate with every camper on the team while on the go so he has spoken with their leaders in order to get the best results. Finally reaching approaching towards the flag area, he noticed that one of the guards was knocked out unconscious - looks like someone must have knocked them down already. As he trudged closer, he noticed that a fight went to a standstill. With one blue camper seemingly immobile against the two reds.

He was in trouble and more importantly, the flag was in there. If he could keep them distracted long enough then... Zoren decided to take the chance now. With a dagger in hand, he made his way closer through the bushes near the flag and made a quick appearance to grab the flag.

Interesting... very interesting. Everything happened in a flash. First, another red camper joined the fray, cutting well into the tension of the situation. Then another person, blue this time, swept in and snatched the flag away. Perfect! Emberlynn cheered aloud as the short-haired boy disappeared into the bushes with their prize. She didn't recognize him. Must be from one of the other cabins. Honestly, this whole game had made her more excited than ever to meet the other demigods. Sure, this place was different from home. It was a little scary, and so far a little lonely... but in time she felt she could make connections here. In time this could be fun.

Before taking off, she made a quick glance toward Azrael and his adversary. Her cheering had in all likelihood made them aware of her presence. A pang of guilt struck her for a moment. This was a game - a war game at that - and there was nothing wrong with doing a little recon. But she also got the feeling that what she had seen and heard between the adults was more personal than that. Something she wasn't meant to be exposed to. Ah well... all's fair in love and war, right?
