About Me

  1. Julia had been out about that day, finding whatever she could get into, she never really liked to stay at her cabin. She just had way too much energy. Wondering around where the older campers usually work out and stuff do, she found herself a jump rope. Grabbing it, she took off to a nice big open area to make sure she wouldn't both anyone or worse accidentally hit someone. She was so accident prone, her biggest impression at camp so far as been running into people. Which isn't a bad way too meet them and say hi, luckily no one has gotten hurt. She's made a few friends around the camp, but she was always on the lookout for more. Specially if they were new to camp, she wanted to be able to meet them and be almost like their own personal welcome committee to camp half-blood, even if she hadn't been to camp that long herself. Finding a good spot, she grabbed the rope handles into each hand and started to swing the rope. The first few times, she almost fell flat on her face, tripping over the rope, not jumping when she should. They had jump ropes back at the orphanage, but she was never really the best at it. After about the third try she finally got into a good rhythm, smiling brightly as she was proud of herself. @ Amelia Celeste Martin
  2. Kenna had been at camp for one year now. This meant that she was starting to recognize the faces that entered the forge where she spent most of her time. Pulling the little machine out of her pocket, Kenna began to fidget with it as she took it apart and reassembled it. This was her normal thing as it calmed her mind that seemed to be racing a million miles a minute. Putting the last bolt back on it, it began to come alive and climb on her like a metal spider. Giggling she walked into the forge with a skip in her step. Today she felt, was going to be a good day with the things she needed to build. Some of the plans had come in from the other cabins but some of the things was just her own personal things. The forge was one of those places that was super hot but she didn't care as she was used to it.....her dad's gift! Getting to her bench she began to look over the sword she had spent time on the day before, when a noise of someone else caught her attention. @ Everly Maisley
  3. Winnie Sullivan was new to Camp Half-Blood. Indeed, she was practically new to the world; she certainly looked around like that was the case. Walking through the forests that skirted the camp grounds, Winnie's eyes were trained above her, wondering at the sunlight that dappled through the leaves. Her mother had kept her so sheltered growing up that the grounds often overwhelmed her. The campers were loud, often violent (even if only in training), and almost always guarded. Fascinating to watch, but difficult to join. Suddenly, something interrupted Winnie’s view. Someone. A pretty girl with dark hair sat in the crook of a tree above her head, holding a book in one hand. Winnie smiled dreamily, noting that she looked completely at home there. Like a fairy, she observed, tilting her head for a different angle. The morning sun haloed the girl, painting her warm and magical-looking. I suppose we technically are magic, she pondered, still getting used to the reality of her heritage. Not loud enough to frighten her, but still to be heard, Winnie called out. “Hi! What are you doing up there?” @ Dahlia Wakabayashi
  4. MK thought that night in new york was just a fling. For years she fought against the aphrodite and hecate boys, finding them kind of repulsive. But something changed in her that night at fireworks where Levi got her mind thinking of the possibilities. It was then when she messaged him an iris message saying she couldn't get him off her mind. The boy that once made her want to angry scream had her screaming in others ways! The two had a night full of passion in new york that she wished she could relive over and over again, but Levi was not the type to settle down. Well that was what she thought when she caught him trying to hook up with none other than the camp nun Samantha Adams. MK was just going to turn a blind eye but something was different in the way that Levi begged her to stay. He wasn't his normal self but wanted her to be there with him. While in her room she went over this time and time again. It made no sense why, but she had to find out the truth. That was when the bonfire happened, her heart was so happy that was until Ares brought destruction to the night. Her stomach felt so sick as she watched Levi and Arsen fight. Part of her wanted to run in between them as she was worrying about Levi. Shaking her head she pushed her way out of bed, it was around 10pm at night so most of her siblings were in bed. Looking out her door she snuck out of the cabin to the Aphrodite's one. Looking down on the ground she found a few pebbles so she began to throw them at his window, hoping that maybe just maybe she could see him once more. @ Levi Jones
  5. Henry was swinging haphazardly in Tempest's hammock. For years, the two friends had convened in the Nemesis cabin to talk and plan what mischief they could get into next. Now, Henry felt completely at home in that room, treating it like her own. How did Tempest feel about that? Well... Henry smiled at her, slowing her frantic rocking to sit up, perched on the side of the hammock. "You'll be proud of me Temmy. I kissed Liam the other night-- Novalie is pissed at him. Shit is gonna hit the fan soon." Likely, Tempest had already heard the news. She stayed on top of all the messy business around camp, looking for weaknesses to exploit. Her deduction skills were second only to Sage. Henry decided not to include how invested she was in the situation, knowing her friend's disapproval on matters of the heart. For years, it hadn't been a problem -- stoic Henry wouldn't let anybody in enough to develop feelings. Until now, she supposed. Gross. "Anyway..." Henry's eyes flickered away from Tempest's, trying not to betray her true feelings on the situation. Tempest was a fantastic confidant. Provided you were furious at somebody and craved revenge. In love? She was probably the last person you'd tell. The world outside the windows was still and humid. Training further away in the grounds, but altogether a sleepy day in late Summer. The perfect environment for some chaos, of which these two girls were enthusiastic harbingers. Henry rested her chin on her palm, grinning. "So, are we raising Tartarus today or what?" @ Tempest Truett
  6. Henry had seen it all go down. She had watched from a safe distance, ignoring the flickering campfire in favour of Liam Santos's expression. Feelings she had never seen in him before painted over his angelic features in the dim light: fear, anxiety, hesitation. To see him that way made her heart ache; he was supposed to be her rival, a frustratingly unstoppable force! He was supposed to be the cocky victor, smirking and winking down at her. So why did he look like a lost little kid in front of Ares? After the bonfire and the talk with Ares, all of Cabin 5 had been quiet and hostile, sulking off to different parts of the camp in small groups. Liam, though, went alone. His silhouette, strong and squared, cut through the landscape of the lake. The sun was set, blinking just below the horizon line as Henrietta approached the boy. She didn't know why she did it; she hated him, after all. He was an arrogant nuisance who played with her heart just to triumph in battle! But something about the fear in his eyes as he stood before his dad haunted Henry. She didn't know what she was going to say to him, but she was drawn towards him like a moth to a flame. She sat beside him, hugging her knees to her chest in the cold. "Santos, I... are you okay?" She looked out over the lake, knowing that he wouldn't want to make eye contact with her right now. She was the same way when she was upset: vulnerability was terrifying. In a move that surprised Henry herself, she lowered her head onto his shoulder, leaning against him under the stars. "I'm sorry, Liam." @ Liam Santos
  7. It was getting close to the end of dinner in the mess hall. Sage had watched the whole thing that happened between Henry and Liam during the class they had today. Trying not to smirk too hard she found her way to the mess hall herself as she watched her sister. Every so often she would pull out her book and jot a few things down she could remember everything that happened. Of course she would check on Henry after dinner, as the girl might need some time to cool off after that ordeal!!! Sage looked up over to the hecate table where she waved to Loukas who smiled in return. She began to wonder herself if he would ever see her more than just a friend. Shrugging she got up and walked over to the fire, giving a offering to Athena. To give her the wisdom to know what to say to her sister. Then head back to where Henry had say she nudged her "Hey are you doing okay?" @ Henrietta Abbot
  8. Elena had been wandering about camp thinking of ways to approach this someone in her heart this Fall. To be honest after she had let her feelings out she became a little bit un-Aresed. She didn’t want her brothers or anyone to find out about how she was doing or struggling herself as they would grow protective of her…..period. But yeah, she had her heart sorted out and it was now only down to this guy….that surf boy. Part of her already knew how it would turn out and she only needed to be honest to herself. Speaking of honesty, her blood did all the work so she was glad that she was an Ares child. Her mind wandering aimlessly as she walked along the forest of the camp, nearing the boundary as she watched whether there was any sign of monsters, then she could relieve her thoughts out by fighting them. At least it was a way to let out her thoughts or she would be really troubled till who knows when. @ Finley Walker
  9. Walking in with Steve, Amelia stops and takes a stuffed bear out of one of her suitcases. "Steve, I'm scared," she says while cuddling her bear. Steve looks at her reassuringly and pats her on the back, "Follow my lead and you'll be fine." he says. As she arrives at the Big House her heart begins to beat hard and fast. Thoughts begin to race and she anxiously awaits for answers on her heritage.
  10. Liam had ended up sparring this big mouth brat out by the lake. He had been just minding his own business, training by the lake, shirtless of course. He had been rattled by his father who showed up out of the blue. So he was deep in thought when he heard her voice. Something about Henry always got up under his skill. Was it that she was a know it all or that she challenged him? Either way he wanted to put her in her place so he challenged her to spar. He had to give it to her though, the girl could hold her own in a sparring match. The two went back and forth as they both got their jabs in. He had respect for her, which he would NEVER tell her. But that still didn't mean he liked her. Henry always knew how to push his buttons, which was how they got into this situation in the first place. She had said something smart ass to him, making him move quickly as he knocked her off her feet and pinned her to the ground. His face was only inches from hers as he gave her a smirk. "Now be a good girl and keep that mouth shut okay" he said in a husky tone. @ Henrietta Abbot
  11. Derrick had been told by his older brother that a new camper had just arrived at camp. His face turned into a grin as he was hoping that maybe just maybe he would make a new friend this summer. Running from the Nemesis cabin to the big house he was out of breathe. He was only ten years old after all! The boy had been at camp for two years which had helped him in his get better at fighting and stuff. But he still wanted to have fun too. Stopping right in front of the Big House he hoped maybe the new camper would be done soon with their talk with a cabin leader. Putting his hands on his knees, Derrick try to slow his breathing in and out. He was now standing up as he took a seat on the front steps as he waited for the new camper to come out. Maybe he could show them around the camp or they could race to the cabins???? @ Leroy Bernard
  12. School had been horrible for her. She had made one friend but they had ended up saying that they didn't like her, so she stuck with Derrick most of the time. Though there were girls trying to get at him and giving her mean looks. So that wasn't fun. She didn't know what she did but Derrick was her friend and that was the way it was going to be. The both arrived at the camp happy to be back and of course she had to her her siblings all about the time that she had in school that wasn't fun at all. James seemed to lift her spirits a little better. Always the best big brother. She was so lucky to have him with her. Though she had went over to grab Derrick from his cabin and pulled him along with her to go find a craft to do. "Come on slow poke." she giggled as her hair bounced around behind her as she walked. @ Derrick Raines
  13. Leroy and Old man Salomon had been traveling for what felt like forever to get to wherever they would be heading. Leroy would turn to Salomon “Have y’all always been this half donkey, no not donkey, deer, no too fat to be a deer,” Salomon would interrupt and say “goat it is half goat, also know as a Satyr and I was sent to watch over you and your family a long time ago.” They would be trudging through the Forest and swampy areas by now Leroy had rolled up his blue jeans and in his white shirt would inevitably get bored. He would take off his shoes and start walking again. After a while they would happen upon the gates at camp half-blood. “I ain’t going in ther not without some reassurance. Some camp somebody gunna give me the grid-gris”. He would pull out a coin from his pocket “It has never let me down before, call it in the air Salomon. You win I’ll go I win, wait wait my coins all of my coins in my collection well if I win we go back for those. I can’t believe you forgot my coins.” Salomon would react “we do not really have time to do this.” But it was too late Leroy’s coin was flipping in the air “heads”. And hit would land on a stump and start to spin then fall and it was heads. “ come on Salomon allons, why were you so scared anyways?” They would continue and enter a building right inside. Leroy would continue “I was only half jokin about the coins.” Salomon would ring the bell on the counter and say “hello?!”
  14. Tempest Truett, all of sixteen and undeniably a force to reckon with, leaned against a gnarled old tree near the edge of Camp Half-Blood. Her intense, calculating eyes observed the newest arrival, a scrawny thirteen-year-old whose appearance was a stark contrast to the imposing aura the camp usually held. She wasn't impressed, not that she ever was, but she was interested. That's all it took for Tempest - a spark of curiosity. A kid fresh off the streets could mean a fun new toy to play with, someone naive who hadn't yet been exposed to the chaos that was her playground. Casting a wry glance in the direction of the other campers, she detached herself from the tree, her lithe form closing the distance between herself and the newbie. "Look what the cat dragged in," she mused aloud, a wicked smirk gracing her features as she looked the girl up and down. She propped her hand on her hip, her eyes twinkling with unspoken mischief. Despite her caustic exterior, she felt a vague pang of sympathy. She knew what it felt like to be the new girl, though she'd quickly taken the camp by storm. But this one, this 'Henry,' she seemed different - less like a deer caught in the headlights, more like a cub trying to find her bearings. It was amusing. And if there was one thing Tempest liked, it was a good show. "You look lost, kid," she continued, her voice laced with a casual nonchalance, betraying none of her swirling thoughts. @ Henrietta Abbot
  15. Henry was enjoying the summer courses; as any child of Athena would agree, a lot of the fun CHB offers is in the competitions and training sessions. Goddess of war tactics, Henry's mum blessed her with a natural knack for fighting. And that was the aim of the game today: hand-to-hand combat. While she preferred to wield a weapon, Henry never had any trouble getting her knuckles bloody. She'd gotten into a far few fights during her time in mortal schools... lots of timid, bullied kids that needed protecting. One thing she didn't like about summer courses, though, was when they were randomly paired. As it was, Henry had few friends and even fewer confidants. She wouldn't suffer fools or tolerate idiots. So, when she was assigned Liam as a partner, safe to say she was pissed. He was a big, brutish Ares boy whom Henry hated as soon as she first saw him; a fool and an idiot through and through. "I am gonna have so much fun handing your ass to you, Daddy's boy." Henry scowled, her fists rising to block her nose from attack. Ares children always played dirty. @ Liam Santos
  16. Tempest stood on the sidelines of the bustling camp, watching as the unsuspecting couple prepared for the cook-off. The duo, Isolde and Hector, were admired for their culinary prowess and were smug about it, a trait that rubbed Tempest the wrong way. Not to mention, they both were so utterly and disgustingly in love that it made her stomach turn. She recalled overhearing them sweetly jest about their winning streak and promising to celebrate their impending victory with a moonlit dinner. That was what sparked the idea; a wicked grin spread across her face as she thought about how that romantic dinner was going to turn into a disaster. She turned to face her little brother Derrick. "Listen, Derrick," she began, her tone serious but also a bit excited. "We have a job to do. You know Isolde and Hector, right? Camp's sweethearts and everyone's favorite chefs?" She gestured at the couple who were now deeply engrossed in their meal preparations. "I think they need to be taught a little lesson about humility. And about how fleeting love can be when you're...indisposed," she added, the hint of a smirk appearing on her lips. She held out a small container filled with laxatives, her electric blue eyes sparkling with mischief. "I need you to help me replace some ingredients with these. It's a short timeframe, and we need to be stealthy. What do you say? Help your older sis out?" She could just imagine the chaos that was about to ensue, the familiar thrill of potential drama fueling her resolve. She had a point to prove, and she was going to use every resource she had...including her little brother. @ Derrick Raines
  17. It was a bright and sunny day at Camp Half-Blood, as it often is. Activities were suspended due to a need to repair a small bit of damage in the Boat House that housed the canoes. As such most of the campers were free to do as they liked around the camp. With little direction to their day, @ Elena Clarke and @ Derrick Raines found themselves with nothing to do and running into one another on the grounds.
  18. Henrietta Abbot was sitting in one of the circular seating arrangements around the grounds. Her knees, bruised to the underworld and back from that morning's training, were pulled up to her chest. It was evening; the empty chairs around her were illuminated by the flickering light of a fire. If only the camp borders kept out those gods-damned mosquitos, Henry thought bitterly, blowing smoke from her lips in an amateurish cough. If a camp director -- or a particularly strict cabin leader -- had seen her, she would've been badly scolded for smoking within camp grounds. However rebellious a 15-year-old daughter of Athena might be, she would be uncharacteristically stupid not to have a fire nearby for quick disposal and plausible deniability. Henry may have been completely unwilling to admit it, but she was lonely. Being a grungey outcast was a cool image, but not a sustainable one for a place like Camp Half-Blood. The more connections you had, the safer you were as a demigod. You needed people to fight alongside you, or at least make perpetual summer camp a bit more interesting. As annoying as most of the campers are, you couldn't accuse them of being boring. Secretly, Henry had chosen this spot for its proximity to the more active places on the grounds, hoping to make a friend. Or an enemy. She wasn't picky.
  19. Petal felt the warmth of the sun against her colorful sundress, the vibrant hues mirrored by the flower-speckled meadow that lay in front of her. Bouncing on her toes she was excited as she observed the vast array of blossoms dancing in the summer breeze. Being a daughter of Iris she marveled at the colors, a palette that spanned from deep violets to bright yellows. In her heart, a rush of joy and tranquility mixed, a feeling she only experienced when she was close to nature. The familiarity of the meadow's vibrant energy was soothing to her soul, as her fingers itched to start plucking the beautiful flowers. With an energy that could light up Olympus itself, Petal darted into the meadow. "You guys ready to become a work of art?" she asked the flowers playfully. She delicately started picking the flowers, taking special care not to harm their stems, imagining how their colors would weave into her flower crown. As she worked, she hummed a tune that her father used to play at their summer festivals. @ Henrietta Abbot
  20. Sage was excited that her sister Henry wanted to meet up, and train a bit. Plus she was someone she loved to talk about camp gossip to which was nice. Sage being Sage meant she knew everything about everyone as she kept files on them all. Some found this creepy but in her mind, this place was home so she had to keep it safe by knowing all the things she could. On the way to the Arena, she pulled out her notebook as she jotted down a few notes from her last night excursion she did. Shadow her NEMESIS was out there doing something EVIL!!!!!!!! She could not trust him at all! But how was she going to prove everything to Lilythe when she acted as if she was under his mind spell. But the Hecate children can't do that right?? Shaking her head she finally made it to the Arena when she began to stretch to get warmed up. Her excited was rising as she would soon see her half sister. @ Henrietta Abbot
  21. Petal's heart pounded in her chest as she wove her way through the woods, her keen eyes scanning the trees for any signs of movement. The forest around her was alive with the familiar sounds of Capture the Flag, the exciting shouts of fellow campers echoing through the trees. Suddenly she froze! There, just beyond some bushes, was Miro, the Aphrodite camper. He was sitting alone, his shoulders shaking, and even from a distance, Petal could see the shimmer of tears on his cheeks. A pang of concern washed over her!. She barely knew Miro, they had never had a chance to really talk, but something about seeing him there, so sad and alone, made her heart twist in her chest. She took a deep breath and made her decision. Carefully, Petal picked her way through the woods, her steps light and cautious so as to not startle him. She was a jumble of emotions as she approached - concern for Miro's well-being, curiosity about what could have upset him so, and a touch of nervousness about intruding on his moment of saddness. "Miro?" she called softly when she was close enough, trying to mask her surprise with an easygoing smile. "Hey, everything okay?" She tilted her head slightly, her eyes filled with genuine worry. Even though the game was still going on around them, in that moment, all that mattered to Petal was the boy sitting in front of her, tears streaming down his beautiful face. @ Miroslaw Mihailov
  22. Elena had been feeling light and easy recently as the event was going on pretty well and most of them really like the crowd and the parties. Well mostly done by all the campers and she also helped a bit. She liked being in the open just as the many Ares here and she would always be there fighting and learning and growing up here at camp. She was a year round camper so she already knew a lot about the camp. She liked it also when it was quiet sometimes , having a moment at the beach particularly the fireworks beach. This evening after resting awhile from the event, she made way to the fireworks beach where most demigods used this area to fire some of those loud shooting fireworks. She had some in her hand but she knew some had already arrived at the area to fire some for the success of the event yet again. She placed hers on the beach and looked up at the evening sky awaiting for the stars to appear as well. Recalling these few years of being at camp, she really learnt a lot and met a lot of campers, some old and new, and one of a few who she admired a lot. @ Miroslaw Mihailov
  23. It was near the end of Summer but Hailey still felt like she was in the summer frenzy. The heat brought her to near the waters mostly these days so she was always out , but she still kept in check of her health as the weather could be a little tangy to her body. Even if she loves swimming she didn’t forget to drink enough water and keep cool in the shelter. She was looking towards the sea of people at the beach while seating at the covered bar side area , drinking a fresh juice. She didn’t want to be too crowded there as she wanted to sit back and relax awhile. She and her siblings were all about the skies sometimes since they can easily connect with their mother , plus Pegasuses were their thing. Her friend Pegasus Lily was always around so she knew where to find her. For now she just sat back and laid still hoping the air would turn cooler sooner. @ Silvio Suarez
  24. As the sun dipped below the horizon, casting a warm golden glow across the camp, Finley found himself filled with anticipation. It was the night of the party in the woods, an event that promised lively music, laughter, and the chance for a little romantic adventure. With a mischievous grin playing on his lips, Finley stood in front of the mirror in his cabin's bathroom. He adjusted his sun-kissed hair, ensuring it fell just right, and his vibrant blue eyes sparkled with excitement. Finley's charm was as undeniable as his laid-back nature, and he couldn't help but wonder if tonight would be the night he found a special someone to share a memorable encounter. He stepped out into the dusky evening, the scent of pine and campfire mingled in the air, guiding Finley towards the vibrant heart of the forest. The anticipation of the party swirled in his chest, fueled by the lively energy that pulsed through the camp. Finley's heart fluttered with the possibilities that awaited him beneath the canopy of stars, his mind brimming with flirtatious banter and stolen glances. Tonight, he was determined to let his magnetic personality shine, hoping to find a connection that would ignite the warm embers of summer into a fiery affair of fun and romance. @ Alyssa James
  25. It was a bright day today during Summer and Katie was up for classes later. It was another arts class so she was again excited for it. She woke up early at 6.30am for breakfast as she liked hanging around the pavilion. It was one of the places always filled with people and she liked being in the crowd. Much like a leader does. She wasn’t just books after all. She brought her class books with her and took a sandwich and hot coffee to one of the seats at the corner table. It was empty so it could fill a few more. It was still early so there weren’t many here yet, they were probably still deeply asleep. But she liked the early morning weather and the cooling & breezy wind so she made sure she woke up just for that. @ Annie Hernandez
