Camp Half-Blood RP

A talk with dear old dad

The bonfire fun only lasted a couple moments before there were some mouthy brats that wanted to start something with him. The older campers seemed to know who he was, well at least some of them. They had even gone so far as to try and stop the younger ones from death. They could thank ‘Mr. D’ for their lives being spared. However, that didn’t stop him from having a little fun with them. At the end of things however, he walked over to his children and found the main one he was looking for. Dustin. He walked over to him, watching the boy straighten up more. He reached up, grabbing the boy's ear and pulling him down. “Cabin five follow me.” he said to them all, watching them all very closely

He never let go of Dustin’s ear as he walked from the bonfire to the cabin that was made for him and his children. It was almost too dark to see the red color of the cabin now, but it was still there. Barbed wire wrapped around the roof. The boar seemed to be watching them as Ares led his children to their cabin. As he got to the door, he let Dustin’s ears go and walked into the main room. His leather boots hit the ground with thuds after each step. He started walking around the room as he waited for everyone to come into the cabin. “Line up.” he told them all, waiting and watching them. Hopefully they did as he said because he was losing his patience at this point.

Liam was still in shock that his dad was here and that shit had gone down!!! Those other campers plus his sister Elena had talked back to Ares in a way he was impressed with their boldness. But it was foolish as seen after from the rage he brought up in all of them. Part of him wanted to slip away but he knew his dad would catch him. Of course he was proud to the son of Ares but then again it was terrifying to see him here. That was not always the best sign for things to come! Was there a war brewing that they knew nothing about? Liam held his breath as he heard his dad say to follow him. Nodding he made sure to move in a way that would fit Cabin 5. They went over to where the cabin was so they were called to line up. Grabbing his brother Benji, he made sure to go in line with the others as he stood up straight and puffed his chest out. He did not want to be Dustin right now!!!!

Benji's muscles tensed as he followed Liam, resisting the urge to throw a snarky comment towards the retreating form of Ares. His relationship with his father had always been complicated; a mix of resentment, admiration, and the inescapable need for approval. The overpowering scent of leather and iron from Ares' armor brought back memories of his earlier days at camp, some of which he wished to forget. Why now? Benji wondered, feeling the anxiety gnawing at his gut. It's not just about some stupid quarrel at the bonfire.

As he lined up next to his brother, his fingers discreetly tapped Liam's back in a quick rhythm – their own form of communication. It said, Stay calm. We'll handle this. Though externally, Benji seemed confident, a stream of thoughts raced through his mind. What had Dustin done to receive such an attention? And more importantly, why was Ares here, now? Benji subtly shifted his weight from one foot to another, his dark eyes darting around the room, seeking any signs or clues. Even if he was known for his impulsive nature, in moments of real danger, his senses heightened and every detail became critical. He took a deep breath, hoping to quell the storm of emotions within. A part of him longed to step forward, to defend his siblings and challenge Ares' authoritative demeanor. But expereince, gathered from years at the camp, told him now was the time to watch, listen, and learn.

Dustin couldn't help but watch closely at his father. There were tons of things running through his mind at the moment. He had turned to look at his closer brothers and gave them a look that asked what they had done to get him here when all of a sudden, he felt his father's coming closer to him. He stood straight up and watched his father closely. He wasn't going to say anything to his father and apparently, he didn't want him to say anything either as Ares grabbed him by the ear and turned to his brother and sisters telling them to head to the cabin.

On the way there the only thing that he could think of as he was being walked to the cabin was the whole fact that his ear was burning by the twist that his father had it in. He didn't know what he did to get this kind of treatment, but he wasn't for it at all. He sighed hard when Ares let him go and he found the line that his siblings were in. Him stepping up to Liam and Benji as well. He didn't know what to say but he was worried something bad was going to happen or happening at the moment. He sides glanced his brothers for a second before he turned his attention to his father once more.

Maddox looked at his brother as Ares ended up getting his now older brother by the ear. That didn't look to pleasant, and he was totally glad that he didn't get that attention from their father. He was happy though very confused about everything. He remembered Lilythe saying that he would more than likely not be able to meet his father ever. Well, there he was in all his glory as scary as it was. Did this not happen or were the twin boys pretty lucky at the moment? Would he really call that lucky? He didn't know at the moment. He watched as Dustin and Ares ended up in the cabin and walked into the cabin that he had been dreaming about. He had wanted to be in this cabin. He looked over to Liam, who he had been talking to before the whole bonfire event started. This was something that he liked. He wanted him as a brother. He had a smirk on his lips for a moment and he turned to his brother as Ares' voice boomed out for them all to line up. He blinked and pulled his brother to his side. Giving him a look that said something to the lines of. Holy shit.

Mason was still in shock seeing this God, who claimed them as his children. How was this even possible, were we lucky? he thought to himself. Mason wasn't sure if he should be excited or scared, especially after the display of fights that broke out because of Ares. He did understand that his father is where both him and Mad got their anger from. As he watched everything unfold, Ares walked up to an older boy, who is apparently a brother of ours now, and grabbed him by the ear leading him off as he tells the rest of Cabin 5 to follow. Mason and Maddox were apparently part of this cabin now, so they both hopped up quickly and took off following the rest of their new brothers and sisters.

Once to the cabin, Ares voice sounded out loud and rough to get in line. Maddox yanked Mason closer to him giving him his 'holy shit' look. Mason sighed and pushed Maddox to get in line "just listen and we will be fine" he whispered to Mad.

Elena was mad…..no she was furious ever since their dad had arrived to claim his children, or stolen perhaps. She was also trembling as they heard their father calling them to follow him to their cabin. Were they in trouble now? She clearly had not think the consequences especially she had stood up to him just now. She followed along with her brothers, standing beside Liam, she could see all of them were hoping to survive from their father…… hopefully. She was the only girl here today but she reckoned the other siblings might be here soon, or probably hiding. She wondered what he was going to say again later.
