  1. Maddox had been following his brother to the other cabin. They weren't allowed to go to the party but there was a sleep over happening which he thought was odd, but his brother had been pulling him to it. So they had gotten their stuff ready and headed over to the place. He sighed a little when his brother had asked him if he had ever meet someone that was from the cabin that they were going to. Hypnos? He didn't think that he had met someone in that cabin. "No, why?" he question. Now curious to meet the campers that were part of the cabin. He didn't know what he was going to do, but he had promised his older brothers that he would play nice about everything. They walked into the cabin and Maddox couldn't help but look around the place. It was different from what he been living in the last little bit. He turned his head when he heard his brother say hey to someone by the name of Savanna. He looked at the girl in question and raised an eyebrow. Was she part of the cabin. He was just about to ask his brother when he heard him say that he was going to go over there. He turned his head to see that he was going to the boys and that was all that mattered to him at the moment. He was going to meet more people from the camp. Once he got to the boys he waved at him. Again playing nice to them. "Hey."
  2. Maddox couldn't believe what was happening. Everything was going in slow motion, he hated everything in that moment. The only voice that he could hear at the moment was Mason's voice. He hated this. He frowned a little more. His mother was dead, and he didn't know what else he was going to do. He heard his brother's voice; it brings him back from that thoughts that were in his head and he turned to him. "What?" he questioned curiously not understanding what was going on. His mind wasn't in the right place. It took him looking at his brother for a little while for it finally to click in his head. He turned and looked at the officers. "You're not taking us at all." he cried out in anger and grabbed his brother's hand before they raced out of the room together. He didn't want to be there anymore. He glanced behind him, looking at his brother. "I don't want to be here anymore." he told him with a frown as they headed to the door.
  3. Maddox had been just sitting around on the couch in the cabin looking for just about anything to do. He couldn't for the life of him find anyone to hang out with. See, since they got here, he and Mason had been spending less time with one another. Which meant that they were finally home. Which of course a good thing for them. They were no longer in cabin 11 either. Their father had come down and claimed them. Which had to piss some of their siblings off, but he had ended up bringing them to their cabin and telling them about the war that was coming soon. The God had said that he felt it in his bones. Which, being the God of war, meant that it must be true. Something was just about to happen, but no one knew what it was going to be or when for that matter. All Ares had told them was to get ready for what was to come. The whole cabin was sworn to secret. Maddox always went to one of his older siblings when he wanted to talk about it. It was of course something crazy. They always seemed to bring him back down saying that they would be fine if they just did as their father told them to do. Sitting up from the couch, he looked around. Most of his siblings were out and about. He had thoughts in his head of what he could do though. He had been paying very close attention to most of his older siblings and knew when they were out of the cabin. Which happened to be now. He had been maybe one of four in there at the moment. Most of the cabin were out fighting or doing their own thing. He couldn't help but grin as an idea shot in his head. Everly had some gloves in her room. Boxing gloves at that. He could go to the place that Dustin taught his lessons. Surely there would be some hanging boxing bags there for him to hit on. He needed an outlet for something to happen. A smirk came to his face as he raced to Everly's place in the cabin and chuckled lowly when he found what he was looking for. "Great!" he said as he held the gloves in his hands. He would be back soon before she even noticed that they were missing. He chuckled a little more and ran out of the cabin, jumping the land mines that he knew were there and ran to the trees where Dustin's class normally was held. His older brother had duties to do in the big house today. Which he knew the guy didn't like to much, but it was still rather funny to watch him try and be nice to the new campers. He snickered a little as he arrived at the place where the lessons were held and found it rather funny that no one was there. He slipped on the gloves, they were a little big for his hands for now, he would be able to grow into them later, if he keeps borrowing them from her. That was if she didn't kill him the first time if she found out. @ Everly Maisley

  5. @ Julia Dutkiewicz @ ★J.C. Maddox had been out doing a little bit of different things here and there for the whole day. He had gotten over the fact that he and his brother needed to be around each other 100% of the time. He knew that they would be going to the same place at night and that fact that he also knew that they wouldn't be able to leave the camp at all without Lilythe's permission. So they were safe. He didn't have to go back to the their horrible world that they lived in. At the moment he was placed right next to the climbing wall. In his bright orange camp halfblood tshirt. It was funny because, if you had asked him a little while ago he would have told you that he didn't want to go to any silly little camp. But he had meet a bunch of people that he already liked. He grinned brightly as he went to reach to for the rock wall.
  6. 12 years old | Single | Son of Ares | Twin Hardheaded | Act first think later | has a mouth on him Universal abilities Superhuman Strength: Demigods are far stronger than any human. Superhuman Speed: Demigods are far faster than any human and possess greater swiftness. Superhuman Agility: Demigods possesses agility, equilibrium, and bodily coordination that are far greater than that of humans. Meaning, they possess great acrobatic prowess and maneuverability helping them in the midst of battle. They can move, jump very high, flip, climb, and run incredibly fast without difficulty or exhaustion. Superhuman Durability: Demigods possesses much greater durability, resilience, and constitution than any human being. Therefore, they are capable of withstanding and surviving blows that would otherwise leave a human dead and/or injured if lucky. Superhuman Endurance: Demigods can endure physical stresses beyond the capabilities of the greatest humans, allowing them to operate efficiently for extended amounts of time, even if they are weakened or exhausted. Above-Normal Healing Factor: Demigods can heal faster and with more finality than humans and sustain far greater damage than humans. Heightened Senses: Demigods' five senses (hearing, smelling, sight, etc.) are greatly increased. The senses of a demigod helps them notice small details and unusual attributes that shouldn’t be there, which help keep them alive in battle. Superhuman Stamina: Demigods have an unusually advanced musculature, granting them exceptionally high stamina and endurance surpassing most mortals. Demigods can perform rigorous physical activity for hours, until fatigue toxins in their blood stream begins to impair them, and they will begin to show signs of fatigue. Superhuman Reflexes: Demigods have far above average reflexes that can keep them alive during a fight (diagnosed as ADHD in mortals). It allows them to dodge inhumanly fast attacks that mortals wouldn’t be able to react to. Their reflexes also enables them to keep pace with beings faster, or as fast as them when in the midst of combat. Children of Ares abilities Telumkinesis: They are able to adapt to using various types of weapons quicker than normal. They have the power to curse their opponents' weapons and transfigure any object into any weapon. Examples include making a sword too heavy to lift properly or turning arrows into rubber, forcibly disarming their opponents. Odikinesis: They can unconsciously arouse feelings of impulsive anger, hatred, and bloodlust in people, to the point of instigating physical violence. Enhanced Physical Prowess: They all have enhanced strength and swiftness. The daughters of Ares have the skeletal structure and muscle distribution of exceptionally large, strong, and well-conditioned human men, allowing them to withstand the rigors of combat as well as their brothers. Military Strategy: They are excellent war strategists, though they seem to prefer mindless brute force over strategy like their father. Fighting skills: They are natural fighters with inborn fighting skills.
  7. Maddox hummed and nodded his head as he agreed with his brother about not doing anything. They had never not done anything, but today they had been pretty good. Maddox had gotten mad a little but that was an everyday thing. There wasn't a time of day that he wasn't mad about something. He shook his head and smirked. "Momma G will get us out of trouble like always." he told his brother, but something about when they turned the corner and seen the officers changed something in that statement that he had said. There was no way that he was going to go to the bad kid's place. Nope, he would totally fight on that. He glanced at his older brother and nodded his head when Mason told him that they needed to be ready. "Of course." he muttered back as they reached the door. Mason was the first one to speak. Which was normally for the best because there was a lot going on in Mad's head at the moment. He didn't know what was going to come out first. Something horrible, or what. More than likely something horrible. That wasn't what he needed either. Well not what they needed at least. Their principal was standing there along with the officers and Maddox looked at each one of them. There was no way they had done anything. "Yeah." he said backing up his brother. "Boys." he man behind the desk said, looking rather sad. Maddox didn't really understand the look he and his brother was getting but he closed his mouth in a tight line. Something wasn't right. He fights or flight response was starting to kick in. "Boys, we have some bad news for you." he began again as he looked to the officers as they moved to the front of the twins. "There was a fire." one of the officers began to say the other one turning to speak softly to the principal behind the desk not paying attention to what was going on behind him. "Aren't there fires all the time?" Maddox asked as it was the stupidest thing to have said to the boys. Maddox looked over to his brother and shrugged a little and the officer sighed a little. "That's not what I mean." he began but didn't give the boys time to say anything else. "The fire was at your house.... your mom... she um... well, you see... she didn't make it." He said trying to be as sensitive as possible to the boys as he could. Maddox's eyes widened a little and he blinked over to his brother. They were old enough to know what the words 'didn't make it' meant.
  8. @ Mason Grimes @ ★J.C. A phone rang in the classroom causing the whole room to be silent. Something was up, as there were never really any phone calls coming in or out of the class. Maddox looked over to his brother who was sitting across the room. The teacher had put them away from each other as they often caused a little trouble when they were around each other. Though then again, what twins didn't cause trouble...Okay maybe a lot of them didn't but they were Mason and Maddox either. He grinned at his brother only to frown a little when the teacher hung up and glanced around the room. "Mason, Maddox, you are wanted in the office." Whispers and some quiet laughter came from the other students. Which caused Maddox to glare at them, willing them to shut up with the evil look that he was giving them. Some did, some didn't care how he looked. He was worried about what was going on. He waited for his brother at the door, and when he got there, he gave his brother a look that said, 'wonder what is going on.' They hadn't caused any trouble today... yet. That was going to come later. He walked down the hallway to the office a couple inches behind his brother. Mason had been older by a couple minutes. They liked to fight over that, because Maddox didn't like the idea of being younger, but according to Momma G one of them had to be. He wondered what she was going to say when she heard that they were yet again going to the office. "Think Momma G is going to be mad at us?" He questioned curiously as he said it in a slow whisper. As the boys turned the corner, he noticed that there were police officers standing outside of the office. Maddox looked at his brother and then put a hand on his brother shoulder for a second. The touch calming him down a little more. Being younger had its benifits.
  9. Maddox looked at his brother as Ares ended up getting his now older brother by the ear. That didn't look to pleasant, and he was totally glad that he didn't get that attention from their father. He was happy though very confused about everything. He remembered Lilythe saying that he would more than likely not be able to meet his father ever. Well, there he was in all his glory as scary as it was. Did this not happen or were the twin boys pretty lucky at the moment? Would he really call that lucky? He didn't know at the moment. He watched as Dustin and Ares ended up in the cabin and walked into the cabin that he had been dreaming about. He had wanted to be in this cabin. He looked over to Liam, who he had been talking to before the whole bonfire event started. This was something that he liked. He wanted him as a brother. He had a smirk on his lips for a moment and he turned to his brother as Ares' voice boomed out for them all to line up. He blinked and pulled his brother to his side. Giving him a look that said something to the lines of. Holy shit.
  10. Maddox nodded his head when Liam talking about Lilythe. Well maybe she was like that with everyone. He nodded his head a little and smiled at the thought. He had given her a hard go at it when he first showed up here. Maybe he should go tell her he was sorry after all she had helped him out giving the times, they were in. He hummed for a moment and then began to look around. So, this Dustin was a part of the cabin leaders as well just like Lilythe. Well, there was that. He nodded his head once again. "Is he anything like you?" He questioned curiously. Wanting to know more about the boy and what he did. Liam went on to say that all the cabins were great and that he would fit in the one he gets. He honestly couldn't wait to see whose cabin that he was in. He was excited about it all. "Well, I hope to be in your cabin." he said honestly. He didn't want to be in another cabin but Liam because he had been the only other person that he had liked thus far. Maddox turned his head to where the older boy was nodding to, and his eyes widened a little more. A bigger practice area. That was great. "Sounds like a plan to me." he said happily as he listened to everything that he was saying to him. Maddox watched carefully as the older boy moved around. Moving his feet to the right stance. He nodded his head when Liam told him that they would practice a few strikes together. "Right." he agreed and got into stance the same way that the Liam had just a few moments ago.
  11. Maddox couldn't help but grin brightly at the older boy. He seemed to be like someone he would like to be around all the time. Maybe he would be his brother and he could be around him all the time. A smile came to his lips as he began to think about it a little. When Liam told him that he had a natural talent for it, Maddox couldn't help but bounce a little. He always liked having something special about him. This was going to be a great! Liam keep talking about how he had no doubt that he would become better than ever. The younger boy liked that idea. His eyes went to the cabin as the older boy pointed to it. "Dustin?" he questioned curiously. "That name's sounds familiar. Lilythe said something about him when she brought us in." he blinked a little and smirked a little. "I think she got me and my brother pinned at which cabin we're going to be in." he told Liam with a smile. "She wouldn't tell us." he told him. "But I'm sure that I'll like anything that he teaches, if he is anything like you." Maddox said happily.
  12. Maddox hadn't liked the idea of leaving his twin brother, but they had known that they were going to be just fine. After everything that they had done in their lives, they were finally free to be the kids that they could be, or rather wanted to be that was. He had older siblings and even some younger siblings as well. It was interesting to see that happen. He was a son of Ares and that was something to him. His big brother Liam, Dustin and Benji had been the ones that helped out more than anything. It was nice. However, today he was ready to climb that wall. He was determined to do it. As he got closer, he noticed that there was another person there. No one that he recognized either. He watched her for a moment as she just seemed to be looking at the wall and he walked over to it, grabbing the first rock part that was sticking out. "You're not going to get anywhere by looking at it." He told her without his normal gruffness.
  13. Maddox couldn't help but have that goofy grin on his lips. There was no way that they were going to be part of this cabin, they were to laid back and the twins were nothing like them at all. He knew where he wanted to go, but at the moment, he wasn't allowed to go there and he didn't know if he was going to be part of that cabin either. Heck, they didn't know who their father was at that moment. It bothered Madd a little but he had his brother and that was all that he really cared about in that moment. Right? He glanced at his brother as he moved to the music and he copied his steps. He glanced over at the door everytime that he turned around and made sure that Lilythe hadn't came in yet. Because he was sure that the party would soon stop over that one and he wasn't ready for that at all. He was already awake and ready for some fun. It was almost time for everyone to wake up anyways right? A chuckle came from his lips as he danced some more. Banning his head to the beat. @ Lilythe Rayne @Child of Hermes
  14. Maddox was next to his brother in moments after he had gotten dressed. He was handed speakers and smirked while his brother plugged in the CD player. The music came to life and a wicked grin came to his lips as the music began to play a little more. Mason told him to turn it up, which is what he did. He turned the dial and laughed a little to himself as the music began to play throughout the cabin common area. He smirked a little as he looked at his brother. Madd watched his brother climb onto the couch and he couldn't help but give him a curious look, however, what he was doing looked fun and he was ready for that kind of fun himself. He jumped on to couch and began to jam with his brother. There was a lot going on and there were some noises coming from the bedrooms. However, that didn't stop that youngest twin at all. He began to sing the song that was playing. Having heard it plenty of times himself thanks to being able to listen to it while living on the streets. Life had been pretty horrible for them, so they were trying to make the best of it. Just like Lilythe had told them too. Well kind of. She said something like that right? What was a couple twisted words here and there. He started bobbing his head a little and glanced at his brother with a goofy grin. He once again heard some voices yelling and things, which brought him joy. Everyone needed to get up and get to partying a little. You know like that cool cabin that was able to blast the music from dawn to dusk.
  15. I VOLUNTEER AS TRIBUTE Maddox Grimes .
  16. Maddox had, had a hard time falling asleep the night before and he was of course trying to stay asleep at the moment, but his twin seemed to have different plans. He had faintly heard him moving around then when he whispered yelled in his ear, Maddox sat up swinging his arms. No one did that, Madd's chest moved up and down kind of freaking out that he was woken out of his sleep like that. He looked over to his brother when he said that it was just him. He blinked a little and sighed. "Don't do that." He hissed a little. Maddox wasn't the type of person to be woken up that early and for no reason, so when Mason told him to get up, he muttered a couple of words to him and flopped back on the bed before looking over to his brother as he began to get dressed. There was no way that he was going to get out of this alive. He grumbled a little more and he sat up once again and began getting dressed just the same. "What is this deal you have." He muttered out to his brother as he watched him bring out his CD player and speakers from his bag and he couldn't help but grin when he noticed it. A wide grin came to his lips as he thought about the Ares Cabin and how they had music come out of their cabin all the time. Which made him want to do the same thing to this cabin. Though it was a little early it wasn't something that he minded as long as they were having fun. Once Madds was dressed he was next to his brother. "Let's do this."
  17. Maddox looked at the woman a little longer as he ate his cookie. He was a coming off his anger at the moment, now more curious about the fact that they were going to be living here now. A camp. He had heard of that before, but he was curious what the camp really had in in. Mason seemed to be over Mad crap and nudged him a little. He blinked a little and stood up on his own feet. He stepped into line with his brother. On his right side that was. The normal place where he stood. He listened to the woman... urrm.. Lilythe. He should maybe start using her name instead of woman all the time. She went on to tell them about the place that they were in, and he finally gave himself sometime to look around. Taking in everything that was here at the moment. she wasn't lying. It was a big house. His gaze finally found hers for a moment as he once again listened to her talking about a Mr. D. Greek god. So, there was a real god out here. His mouth went to open as to ask a question, but he soon closed it shut. He didn't want to ask anything to make this process any longer than it was going to be. She told them that it would be best to not disrespect him, or he could turn them into a strawberry plant. Maddon went to say that she was lying, but she went on and answered his question before he even asked it. So, this Mr. D had a temper like they did. Wonderful. Once they were on the porch, he was able to see what was behind the house. The campgrounds. His eyes went wide as he looked at all the people that were out and about there. There was a lot of people here. Kids his age and older campers. His eyes scanned the areas where she pointed to and he mentally keep them in his mind. Not that he was going to go over to them any time soon. He was a little curious though. Maybe he would take a walk around later. He glanced over to the strawberries and looked at them, having her telling them that only some of them were former campers. Mad couldn't help but laugh out loud at that fact. He wasn't going to be that stupid as to get turned into a strawberry plant. The so-called God wouldn't get the best of him. She began to walk, and the younger twin started to follow her, pulling his brother along with him. He didn't want to go anywhere without him at the moment. He wouldn't say that he was scared, however, it did bother him a little and he didn't want to be away from him at this point. The forge didn't seem like something up his alley, so he only looked at it and keep walking with Lilythe. However, when she said something about Pegasus, Maddox couldn't help but want to see that a little closer. Flying horses. That seemed like fun for him. Though what pulled him from his thoughts was the sound of steel hitting steel. He blinked up a little and noticed the arena that people were in, and he blinked a couple of times. This was interesting. He stepped up next to Lilythe as he watched the people fighting. "We get to do that?" he questioned out loud, knowing that they would, and it excited him a little more about being here. She went on about what was near, and he listened with open ears to it. Cabins. Now that was what got him curious. What cabin did he and his brother belong in. Her saying that while they were here, they would be trained as hero's. Maddox couldn't help but laugh a little but noticed that she was serious about it. He stopped for a second and then crossed his arms a little. "What if I'm not meant to be a hero?" he said curiously. What if he was meant to be the villain. That was something he had always wondered, with the way that he always got angry. When she brought up the monsters, he scoffed a little. Remembering the one that they had to fight. It was big, but there were more like that. He couldn't wait to get on them and kill them then. A smile came to his face as he thought of getting to kill the monsters. He couldn't wait for that to happen. He would train like there was no tomorrow. She went on to tell them that they would be staying in her cabin for a while, until they were claimed by their godly parent. Which had to be their father. It had to be because Momma G was their mom. That much they knew. She soon asked if they had any questioned and Maddox shook his head no to her before turning to his brother to make sure that he didn't have anything to ask either. He was wanting to wonder around the camp to try and figure out what it was all about. Maybe people watch a little.
  18. Maddox couldn't help but scoff at his brother when he told him too not be so rude. He turned his head to the side and glanced at the other wall away from his brother and the new person that they were meeting. He didn't like being taken from a place that they knew. Well, even though they were there for a couple of months. Regardless. He liked what he liked, and this was different, so he didn't like it that much. He had a feeling that his brother had the same feeling, and he knew that but for him to not say it meant that he wasn't that worried about it to him, right? He brooded a little more as he crossed his arms a little over his chest. His attention soon went to his brother as he felt him move to grab a drink. He watched closely as he took a drink. Nothing seemed to happen to him. So, he thought better of it and grabbed a cookie. Munching on it and grumbled a little when his brother introduced him to the woman, much like a cat when it's mad and eating. She could have gone without knowing who he was. Maddox didn't have the nickname Mad for no reason. He was always pretty easily to be set off. Prime example here. She had really done nothing wrong but talk to them. It was just who he was, something that he couldn't change. His eyes scanned the drinks and then his brother once more before going to the woman in front of them. She had put her hands up and then started talking. He listened to everything that she was saying. Something about being placed in her cabin until their godly parent claimed them. He blinked and shook his head. So, there were cabins that they were going to living in. He shook his head once again and then looked to his brother. So they weren't going to be separated at all. Since they were twin, they were going to have the same godly parent. Now just who would this godly parent be he wondered. Her last words grabbed his attention. Did he want to see the camp. Maybe he was a little curious.
  19. There was a lot going through Maddox's mind at the moment. He knew that there were plenty of things happening and he didn't know what was going to happen to him nor his brother. Though being twins he knew that they were going to be together since they would have to have the same parents. That was a given. He huffed a little as he turned over on the pallet made on the floor. There was many things happening at the moment, which bugged him. He was just about to close his eyes to go back to sleep again when he heard some hard rock music playing down the way. He blinked his eye opened once again and sat up. Who was playing this kind of music this early? He blinked and looked over to his brother who was still pretty much sleeping, and Maddox couldn't help but roll his eyes a little. How could his brother sleep through this? He shook his head and noticed that there was some light coming from the windows. Which meant that it was time to get up anyways. Living on the streets, he was normally up before now, and he knew it. He removed his covers and got up, heading to the door. Once he opened it, he walked out without trying to wait up anyone else. He blinked with the light and turned his head trying to find the sound of the music. He soon found where it was coming from, and he began walking over there. Curious to what was happening. As he got closer to the group of people, he noticed that above the cabin was labeled five. He was now even more curious, as he watched a couple of kids fighting in the front part of it. The music loud enough now that he could understand the words that were coming out. He smirked a little knowing the song and just stood there looking at the cabin. It was a mess, but it looked better than the Hermes cabin. He blinked as he watched a little more. "Cool." It was the only word that came out of his mouth.
  20. Maddox sighed a little as he began to listen to his brother. They were told that someone was going to be there for them so he should listen to the satyr right. So far, he hadn't lied to them, but Madd wasn't one hundred percent sure if they should believe them or not. He had always had something to say about everything. He breathed in through his nose and allowed his anger to settle down before they started into the door. "Well, let's see." he muttered as they walked into the door and looked around. It was always interesting when the twin spoke together. It was like they could read each other's minds. Honestly, Madd thought that he could read his brothers thoughts many times. It always made him feel closer to his brother. They said their hellos and soon another voice came from somewhere. Telling them that they would be right there. From the sound of it, it was a female. He stepped closer to his brother not wanting to be too far from him at the moment. This was a whole new thing at the moment for the both of them and he felt safer with his brother next to him. He glanced at his brother when she said to 'make yourselves at home' Madd didn't know what to do because he wasn't that trusting of people at the moment. Not after what had happened to them. The woman came into the room with them and right away Madd noticed that she was carrying food and drinks on a tray. He blinked a little trying to peak a little closer to the food. He was a little hungry. He grabbed onto his brother's jacket and stepped a little closer to the woman. Whose name was now Lilythe. It wasn't that Madd was scared, he just looked at people a little differently. He watched closely as she grabbed a drink herself and drank it. If she was going to kill them this would be the moment. But she seemed rather nice. He pushed his brother a little to the couch and only sat down after Mason did. He wanted a cookie and staired Longley at them but again. There was that trust issue going on at the moment. He sat straight up on the couch and put his hands on his knees. His blue eyes scanning the room before the landed on Lilythe once again. "You said cabin leader..." He began. "What does that mean... and are you sure we are supposed to be here...you're not going to try and kill us are you?" he grumbled a little thinking about all the things that they had went through in the last couple of months. His knuckles whitened from how tightly he had been closing them. "You're not going to separate us." his voice starting to raise a little. He was worried maybe letting his anger out a little more too. He had fought his way here with his brother, they weren't about to split them up now.
  21. The week that leads up to their arriving to the camp was an interesting one. There were many more fights and running away from creatures that they weren't able to fight. Maddox had been a little scared, but he had also wanted to help out as much as he could. He was angry at the loss of their mother still and the fact that they had to live on the streets for the time that they had. Not that they had really a choice in the matter, he didn't feel like leaving his brother as they had been together all of their lives and they weren't about to change now. He huffed a little as he fixed his jacket on his shoulders a little more. He glanced around the place and his eyes set on the big house that the satyr was talking about. He told them to go ahead and go inside of the house, and that someone would be there waiting for them. Maddox turned to say something back to the satyr, but he wasn't there anymore. He glanced at his brother and frowned a little. "Well, so much for my question." he muttered as he stood next to his brother before walking up to the house. "Think we're being tricked?" he questioned his brother as they got to the door of the house. He once again huffed out loud and went to grab the door to open it for his brother to walk into the house first. Once his brother was in his walked in as well. Glancing around the place, his face fell into awe. It wasn't anything like he was imagining at all. He frowned at the thought and stood behind his brother as they walked in. Being born second gave him that, though he won't say it out loud. He would fight anyone and that even went for his brother when they talked about him being two minutes younger. "Hello?" the boys called out together as they gave each other a look. @ Mason Grimes @ Lilythe Rayne
  22. Maddox Grimes biography Momma G always told us about the night that she had meet the man of her dreams. Said it was magical and something that she would never forget. She also told us the part where he disappeared and then nine months later ended up having me and Mason. She said that it was an emergency c-section. Apparently, I wasn't in the right space to come out safely. After a couple of days in the hospital, she was finally able to name us. Mason is my older brother by two minutes. My name is Maddox. The doctors told her that we were mirror twins by the ink blotch birth mark on our elbow crease. Mine showed up on my right arm and his mirrored on his left. She said that when she got us back to the small apartment that she had, she started to cry and that was when our grandparents came to the rescue. Telling her that we could live behind their house. They had a small little place behind them. They were able to help her with us. However, we were violent. Mason and I would end up throwing things, hitting things starting out as a young age. Hardly anything was able to calm us down. When we got to the age to start school, things became a little worse for wear. We both were diagnosed with ADHD and dyslexia. A long with those, and the bad attitudes we had we ended up becoming bullies around the school. Pushing kids on the ground and starting fights. It felt normal for me to do that. I'm the one that often punches/pushes first without thinking. It was a normal day in school, the calls to momma G about our behavior. However, when we got to the house, we noticed that our grandparent's home had ended up catching fire, they weren't able to escape from there. Which was sad as they were the only people in our lives that were able to understand us. It was hard on our mother but as they say life goes on. Years went on and by the time that we were just about twelve years old, we were just as mean as ever. Bullying kids still always seeming to get into trouble. The cops had been called on us a couple times. Them normally just talking to momma G about us and how we needed to go to therapy. One day at school, they ended up pulling us out of class and brought us to the office. There was a strange woman and an officer standing there along with the principle. I was worried, just by the look on their faces. Something had happened. My brother and I were told that momma G had died in some kind of crash and that they were there to take us to a safe place, since there was no one that would be able to take us in. The word foster care came into play a lot and I couldn't help but look over at my brother. Knowing that I didn't want to go there because I didn't want to be pulled away from him. He was my other half. Someone that knew me more than anyone else...more than momma G knew us. Not wanting to leave with them, we cause a ruckus and fought tooth and nail to get away from the adults. They hadn't even had the time to lock the school doors before we were out and running away. Foster care be dang. We ran and hid away from the officers that tried to find us. We had even found some people that were just like us. Run aways. They were a little older than us, but they were able to show us their ways. The officers finally gave up on finding us a couple months in. Which we had been happy about. I was content with living like I was living. I had my brother and that was all I needed. By our twelfth birthday, two months living on the streets, my anger issues had already begun to increase. Living the life, we had the last couple months could do that to some people. I didn't care who was on the other end of it. However, the kids that we lived with hardly ever took the blunt end of it. One day we had been walking around by ourselves and something strange happened. A flying monster started to attack us. I had no idea what it was, and Mason seemed to be just as scared as I was. We hadn't even started moving before someone ran past us with a sword. Attacking the monster that was in front of us. Scared, I couldn't help but grab on to Mason's jacket and pulled him back away from the fight. It was my first thought, to save my brother, well and I didn't know how to fight a monster like that at all. I was shocked when the man had ended up killing the monster. There were many things going through my head. It was then that the man walked over to us, and Mason couldn't help but step in front of me, but the man only stopped so close to us. I was thinking that I would have to fight this man. However, I stopped thinking when I noticed the man tip his hat. His curly hair bouncing and there was a set of horns on his head. I stood there shocked, unable to look away from the horns on his head while he started talking to us. He called himself a satyr and that he knew of a place that would keep us safe. Something called camp half-blood. He began to tell us about the place, and I can remember looking at my brother like he was crazy, however, my levelheaded brother seemed to like the idea, and you should know by now, anywhere he goes I will follow him. It took about a week to get to where this camp was. We had to go through some more fights, but we ended up at the camp with no big issues. Now, I'm standing here looking at a big blue house, in the middle of nowhere. Personality Maddox is the younger twin by two minutes, he doesn't like it either, and when his brother teases him about it, they end up wrestling to fight it out. It's normally 50/50 who wins that time. He likes to be around his twin all the time. They hardly ever leave each other's side. He has been on his own the past couple of months, and he has a hard time trusting other adults around him, he thinks that they are going to take him to foster care. Maddox is easy to anger and will have no issue with swinging first and asking questions later. He does everything with his right hand first, having a harder time trying to copy his brother and using his left. He can become very manipulative at times. Knowing how to play people, especially once he gets to know them. He has a carrying side. It's mainly toward his brother, but it will start coming to the surface when he finds out that he has other family members. He hasn't really had many friends so he isn't sure how to treat them, and might treat them poorly at first, but he will grow into that better.
