Here's To Never Growing Up

Joaquín was among the crowd that gathered for tonight's claiming. He initially felt indifferent towards the ceremony because of his dislike for his father which was then forwarded to the gods in general for their terrible roles as parents. Even then, do they even understand how it works? He shook his head but eventually grew to enjoy coming to witness such event after learning about the circumstances before Percy's deal with the immortals. It was not just him that experienced their lives without knowing their god parents and the strange things that happened when it comes to their demigod status and abilities. The best part is, this camp is the best place demigods can call home simply because the campers are just children who are still struggling to find their place in life. Who is to say he is not one of them? Enough pondering for now - there's a party going on in Dionysus' Cabin hosted by his very friend Aislynn.

Hearing the music from outside, his body felt light as he walked quickly towards the cabin but then began to run after it with a wide grin. He loved socializing with others, especially when there is tomfoolery to be made. If possible, his attention could be drawn with how much he liked to talk but there is a chance he'll pull a prank on some poor camper. Arriving to Willow's unplanned solo concert, he slithered through the small crowd to fetch himself a drink that is not alcoholic. Sure he can be a rebel but not for this. He was about to leave the beverages table when he saw Aislynn approaching it. "Hey! Sick party. Might as well end the night on a good note, right?"

Aislynn grinned knowingly as she watched her brother. She wasn't a child of Aphrodite, so she hardly wanted to play matchmaker. But she did want her brother to enjoy himself. And she did enjoy chaos. So watching her playboy of a brother, Killian, go after perhaps the most reserved girl at camp was going to be at the very least chaotic and--if it ended well--would make him happy. Seemed like a win-win for Aislynn in her book.

It wasn't long after her brother left her before Joaquin found her. "I was getting bored, so I thought we were overdue. You know?" She grinned impishly. "Drink up. Let's have some fun tonight." Aislynn winked at her friend. She didn't make attachments easily, but that didn't stop her from having fun with people--or helping others find some fun with someone else. Tonight was for a bit of fun, a bit of chaos, and a bit of flirting.

After the last chords of the song rang out, Willow looked with pleading eyes at the Dionysus children around her. One of them finally took mercy on her and pulled out an iPod. They hooked it up to the sound system and began to play some music that way.

Willow hastened off the stage, and straight for the nearest wall. It just so happened, however, that the nearest wall happened to be near Killian and Aislynn. Willow gave Aislynn a disapproving frown. "You should have told me if you wanted me to sing. I would have prepared something..."

Dancing. He was doing that right. He was doing okay with it right. Hell he didn't know what was happening at all. He smirked at her when she began to talk. Of course, he knew how it was once you got a taste of something you like, it was hard to get away from him. "Well it's good to know what I'm doing to you is working." He mused as he spun her out a little. So again dancing not a thing he was used to.

He was still very curious as to what he had been up to and apparently he only had to look at her to get the answer out of her. Which he liked very much. "So they wanted each other already." He blinked. He hated this power of hers. Of her whole cabins. They messed with peoples emotions and sometimes he had to wonder if she was messing with his. It bothered him but he hadn't seen anything that was happening yet. But then again would there be something that would happen. Would he be able to know it was her? Her next comment about her not creating feelings that doesn't exist made him feel a little better, it meant that he didn't have to worry about her messing with his right? But it was strange since he didn't really know how this whole thing happened with him. He shook his head to her next question about if their was a reason he was asking. Sure there was but it wasn't like he needed to go a head and say it now. He would figure out a little more later. "Nope." he said as he moved to the music.

Mateo spun her out and back to him. Lena couldn't deny that she was enjoying herself. He may not have done this much, but he was managing to get the rhythm down. That was really all that mattered for dancing. And Helena couldn't have been happier. "Works like a charm." Helena said with a grin.

As he asked about that Nike child and Athena child, Helena nodded. "Yes. He's head over heels for her, and she just hadn't realized her own feelings yet." Lena tilted her head as she continued to sway with him. Her mind was swimming with worries. He said that there wasn't a reason to ask. But she couldn't help but be concerned. She had no proof to give her concern. He was acting perfectly fine. Still, she couldn't shake the feeling that something was bothering him.

Helena refused to rock the boat, however. If this was going to end in fire, she was going to let him light the match. Not her.

His words made her blush a little bit. He thought that she fit perfectly there in his arms. Which, if she was being honest with herself, she thought so as well. Damn her and her emotions. She knew that she wanted everything about him, but she was so damned scared to even try to say anything. She blinked back up at him as he began to talk about being a little closer later and she couldn't help but smirk thinking about it. "Oh?" She began. "Is that a promise?" She questioned curiously at him. Her sister began to sing her next song and she knew the song all to well. She went to sing it but was stopped when James started singing it himself. She just happily listened to him as he done so.

Joaquín knew the daughter of Dionysus wouldn't just sit around and chill but to have fun and let go of herself. It's what drawn him to her in the first place simply because she matched the energy he had been looking for in a friend. He's always down to make moments more exciting and that's what she had been doing too. This party is just the latest in the long line of her whims.

"Will do. I'll see if I can have some fun with some... unsuspecting campers." He winked back at her and raised a cup before heading off. It was implied that he was going to perform some subtle pranks and probably start a fight but he knew that wasn't something Aislynn wanted. She wanted to be chaotic but not to the point where feelings are hurt or violence was instigated. He knew that all too well. So he'll tone it down and bring about some laughs. What to do, what to do... he thought to himself as he looked around.
