Happy Birthday Lilythe!

Lilythe Rayne

Recommended Posts

Lilythe decided to plan a birthday party for herself. It had been a while since so many of her friends had been at camp all at the same time, so she was feeling particularly festive. It was a costume party, of course, because of Halloween. She had invited everyone from her age group and had stocked plenty of booze for everyone to have some.

She chose to wear a black cat suit, tight to her body, with the ears, whiskers, and tail to boot. Once the Big House was decorated, and the younger campers were off to bed, Lilythe opened the front door to the house so that the older campers could come in. She had instructed a couple of satyrs to keep out the younger campers for the evening unless there was an emergency. Hopefully one night of fun could be had without a major crisis, however.

Azrael had only been back a couple of days from New Rome but had quickly found himself occupied with his new official position in charge of cabin sixteen and the plans for instructing as they began to take place. It was only towards the end of his travels back he had remembered about a costume - the party had been an important step for him to make it back for but it had almost slipped his mind to be properly attired for it. He had spent his last day before returning to camp scouring the city for an appropriate costume.

He had managed to find enough accessories and bits for a grim reaper costume, heavy black robes, a skull mask and bony gloves along with a two foot long children's plastic scythe, he was sure there was one in the armory but one obviously pretend seemed more in spirit with the event. As he came in he nodded to the satyrs on his way in, dropped a book bag at the desk at the front of the big house and then stood admiring the decorations that festooned the main room of the house. He smiled appreciatively, it was probably a good thing none of Athena's cabin were old enough to make it with the webs and spiders covering the corners - Lilythe had really pushed the boat out this year.

It was then he spotted the host, party girl and, in that outfit, focus of everyone's attention for of the night. He looked her up and down more than a little distracted "Now I see why the Egyptians worshiped cats" with a grin. "Told you I would make it back in good time." He moved up to her pulling her into a tight embrace "Happy Birthday Lithe. I missed you."

Letting her go so she could greet other guests on their way in Azrael headed over towards the bar and seeing the array of bottles asked - "Want some kind of cocktail mixed up?"

Killian was pretty pumped for another party to go to as it was Lilythe's birthday! Dressing up in a very large leprechaun outfit. He hoped to get a bit lucky tonight and maybe get to see Willow if she showed up to the party. Maybe she would sing again. His thoughts were sort of all over the place as he had never felt this way about any other girl in his life. His arms full of a few bottles, he walked to the big house for the party.  Opening the door he looked around with his smirk as the place was decorated quite well but then his eyes landed on the birthday girl. "Lilythe....Happy Birthday" he said going to her with a bottle in each hand. Holding one out for her "This is for you, it is a special brand of whiskey only found in Ireland" a smirk on his face as he looked over to Azrael who was at the bar. "Don't get started without me my friend!

James had talked to Rissa about meeting up at her cabin before the party. Now that they had told each other how they felt they could go as a couple, instead of a complicated situation! So as he beamed when he saw her. He knew no other woman who was as beautiful as her!!! Taking in her beauty he knew he would be happy to be by her side as the party. "You are stunning Rissa" he exclaimed as he leaned in to kiss her. "You ready for this?" he nodded his head towards the big house where the party would be! It would be an interesting night with both Azrael and possibility Shadow attending the party.

Holding out his hand he took Rissa's into his own as he led them toward the house to join the group. James was dressed as a Johnny Castle from Dirty Dancing. It wasn't anything fancy but it was cool to go to a party with her girl like this! Getting to the house he held the door open for Rissa for her to walk in as he followed her in. "Hello Everyone" he said as he waved the the small group that gathered!

Rissa couldn't honestly wait for this party. It was Lilythe's birthday and she was pretty sure that she was going to have a wonderful time. Honestly, it was nice not to have to go alone and with the man that meant the world to her. She smiled as she touched her hair. She had it curled a little to match the theme that she was going with. She was Sandy from Grease. That ending scene with her in her leather and red heels. She smirked at the mirror for a moment more before she walked out of the cabin and right into James who looked amazing in his outfit. She smirked and placed a hand on his chest. "Well thank you." she cooed as she gave him a once over and nodded her head with his next question. "I'm always ready." She told him with a smile.

She couldn't help but grab his hand when he held it out to her, and she also couldn't help but link her fingers with James' as he lead the way to the big house. She felt herself get a little giddy and she loved it. She glanced up at James and smirked a little to herself. This was the first event that they were going to be going to together, making it a statement. As they got to the house, James opened the door for her and announced their arrival. Rissa only waved to the people that were there. "Happy birthday Lilythe!" She called out to the woman of the hour.

Shadow had just returned to camp only a few weeks before Lilythe's birthday party. When he first arrived back at camp he knew it was close to her birthday, and she always throws a party, so part of coming back was hoping he could get in good enough with her to be able to be invited to her party because for him that meant she was accepting him back into her life. They had a small little brunch, and then went for a fun canoe ride in the lake which is where she asked him to come to her birthday party. He was excited, but a bit nervous knowing that Azrael was most likely going to be there. Shadow did promise that he would try to be on his best behavior with 'that guy' around.

Shadow wasn't sure what to dress up as, but since it was at night, he thought it would be fun to use the mist to make people see him as a creepy clown. His illusion gave him a white face with red eyes, black lipstick, sharp pointy teeth, and a tore up close costume covered in blood. Once he got the illusion going he walked into the party. Taking a deep breath, he looked around to find Lilythe who looked so stunning he lost his control of the mist, losing his illusion. Shadow walked over to Lilythe giving her a big hug "Happy Birthday!! You look stunning!" he exclaims letting her go and stepping back to admire her as a whole. "Well I had a cool illusion going as my custom but your amazing custom trumped that" he laughs with a hug smile across his face.

It came as no surprise when the first person to enter The Big House was none other than Azrael. Lilythe beamed as he walked up to greet her and wrapped her arms around him as he embraced her. "I'm so happy you made it back." She smiled sweetly and gave him a soft kiss on the cheek. "I missed you too, Azzy. Thanks." She disentangled herself from him and watched as he walked over to stand host at the bar. She couldn't help but bite her lip and smile.

"So that's where you went!" Lilythe said, grinning at Killian. She had wondered where he had gotten off to over the summer. So many of the older campers had left and come back this year. It was nice to have her family home. "So sweet of you to think of me while you were there." She took the bottle from him and gestured over to the bar. "Looks like Azzy's volunteered his services at the bar tonight if you want to partake."

As James and Rissa walked in the door, Lilythe let out a squeal of excitement. "Eeeeeek! You're here!" She beamed. There hadn't been a chance in the world that James wouldn't show up at the party. And these days, where he went, Rissa was likely to follow. Lilythe was very happy for them. They both seemed happier with their more committed arrangement, and Lilythe had always thought that it would be quite the match. She beamed at them both. "Thanks Rissa!" She called out, waving over to her.

The next guest to arrive was Shadow. Lilythe jumped slightly at his illusion before laughing. "I'd say yours looks good but it's terrifying." She said with a chuckle. She was not the biggest fan of clowns. Killer clowns even more so. But she knew that Halloween was a time for people to spook others just as much as it was for people who enjoyed dressing as fantasy heroes, perhaps it was even more appropriate to wear spooky costumes in all honesty. She just appreciated that he had chosen to get into the theme. She returned his embrace with an embrace of her own and gave him a soft kiss on the cheek as well. "Thanks for coming."

There were still a few guests that hadn't arrived, but Lilythe felt like it was a good enough time to turn on the music. She walked over to the old radio that was in the corner and turned up the volume. "Let's party!"

It was Lilythe's birthday. She was basically the camp mom, and anyone who had been here any length of time had passed through her care at some point or another. So when she held a birthday party, it wasn't any surprise that tons of people showed up. Willow wasn't a big fan of crowds, but she was happy enough to endure it for Lilythe's sake. She donned a Poison Ivy costume that she had found and made her way over.

Once she arrived, she walked over and gave Lilythe a hug. "Happy birthday, birthday girl." She said with a smile. Releasing her from the hug, she gave her another quick smile before excusing herself to go stand by the wall. It didn't take her long to scan the room and see everyone who was there. Her cheeks flushed full pink as she realized that Killian was just across the room from her.

Willow still didn't understand what was going on with him. Why he was still fixated on her. She was convinced that he was only interested because she wouldn't give in. He had basically had his pick of girls his whole life, and Willow was the first girl who didn't fall for that smile, accent, and charm instantly. That had to be it. She quickly darted her eyes away, afraid he would catch her looking at him and take that as encouragement.

If she was being honest with herself, she didn't dislike him. Not really. He was very charming. She just wasn't interested in being his next conquest. If he would stop hitting on her, and just try to be her friend, she probably would feel more comfortable around him. She just hoped his infatuation would pass so she could be comfortable around him again.

Azrael was barely able to think about anything else beyond just about to keep walking, distracted by that lip bite.. he took the time to compose himself behind the bar and begin looking through the bottles in the well stocked corner of the room.

As Killian arrived at the party Azrael had to stifle a laugh, the full size leprechaun costume was priceless. To hide at least a little of his amusement while Lilythe was greeting him at the door Azrael started to mix up a simple cocktail, a bit of tequila and some fruity liqueurs that sported some bright green and yellow colourings. It was as he was shaking it that Killian made it into the main room and made his quip about him getting started without him, he looked up keeping on shaking the mixer and replied "trying to keep pace with you would be hard enough, getting a few in early would be the death of me" he said using the obvious pun of his outfit. He leaned forward and poured the mixer's contents into a glass with some ice - a bright green cocktail with some wisps of steam from the ice coming off it. "be interested in what chaos you have been finding around if you wanna pull up a stool. Green monster for the luckiest man in camp?" seeing a new figure in the doorway.

He was glad to have a distraction as he saw Shadow following up not far behind James and Rissa, he had agreed to be civil and he had to make sure he could keep to that, maybe just one drink to settle the nerves before he tried to poke that hornets nest though... he thought as he picked up the mixer and gave it a quick rinse...

Asher was a little surprised to be invited to Lilythe's birthday party. Not because they weren't on friendly terms but because other cabins didn't always include the children of Hecate in their outings. Or maybe that was just her experience. She had friends naturally, but she knew people often found her to be unapproachable and even intimidating. She had heard from the younger campers that some of them found her to be scary. She really had to work on her resting bitch face but it wasn't as though she did it on purpose. She always just went about her day minding her own business. What her face did was not intentional. But alas, at least it seemed some people saw that.

Lilythe's party it seemed, was a costume party and she had to admit she hadn't an idea of what to dress herself as. She had never been much of a Halloween person. She had enjoyed it once but after her father died, all of those things that people associated with childhood, she had stopped doing. So she had come at a stand still, trying to see what costume would be cool to go about. When everything seemed lame and uninspired, she ended up option to dress as Elton John during his Dodgers game performance. Wearing sequins in all shapes and forms was not Asher's go to. In fact, she wasn't much of a bright color person but Elton John was, surprisingly, her favorite artist so wearing the blue and white sequin baseball suit was quite pleasant.

When she arrived at the place, she quickly scanned the room for her twin. She didn't see him right away and she wondered whether he had been invited in the first place. She herself hadn't mentioned it, rather forgetting to do so, and so when she didn't see him, she noticed one of her half brothers was there. Asher had not as many half siblings as some campers did, but she had never gone out of her way to befriend them. Honestly, maybe it was time to change that but she would do so after she congratulated the birthday girl. However, it turned out that even if she wanted to go to her sibling later on, he was currently at the receiving end of one of Lilythe's kisses. Huh. Go figure. "Happy birthday," she said, coming into view. "I hope I am not interrupting."

Arsen had spent what felt like a very long time trying to come up with his costume. He wasn't the best at being creative and usually just went on Pinterest until an idea inspired. His picks were usually heroes or villains. Sometimes he got creative and made a joke out of a costume. One year he had dressed up as Belle from the Beauty and the Beast and added taco inspired toppings so he could say he was dressed as a Taco Belle. But this year his mind was fried and the only thing he seemed to come up with was dressing up as the Riddler. What could he say? Sometimes a classic was a classic for a reason. And, after all, he didn't particularly like dressing up in scary costumes. Especially not the ones that involved painting his face and adding more than one's fair share of blood on.

When he arrived, he was quite pleased not to be the first one there. That was always lame and Arsen enjoyed arriving in the middle of things. A trait that translated to his every day life and hence why no one could rely on him to be punctual to anything ever. He walked directly towards Lilythe, to make sure to congratulate her and when he approached the crowd of people around her, he noticed his sister, his half sibling, James, Willow, etc. At least there were people he knew. "Happy birthday Lilythe!" He said, reaching to give her a hug. "Thanks for the invitation."

While chatting away with Killian, Azrael starts to pull together a pitcher to combine some more drinks, this time a dark coffee based mixture over ice. recipe

He couldn't help his eyes trailing across to the various Hecate cabin members, he was trying to be better at speaking to them, working with them. especially Shadow by special request from the birthday girl. He started to pull glasses filling them will ice to cool them down then returning to the pitcher with a coffee liqueur and some rum. He gently added some coke to the mix, limiting its frothing and then took the time to load the four glasses with the mix.

This one seemed to be pretty accurate to the Hecate lot, a bit of caffeine, a bit of a kick and a bit of mystery. he thought as he put the splash of cream in to provide the mist that swirled through. He had enjoyed the times he had caught up with Vienna, sure about the best way to find her had been through the party trail but he had played bartender over there as well and gotten to enjoy himself away from the guard duties and the stream of essays, but he had always been thinking about her he though as his eyes slid back to Lilythe entertaining the guests as they arrived.

Pushing the tray over a little and waving to the Twins he pointed down at the set of drinks as if by a kind of invitation. Elton John and the Riddler, impressive costumes and very flashy. He smiled as he kept listening to his friend at the bar and enjoying the atmosphere.

How did he get so lucky to have a girlfriend as beautiful as Rissa, he thought to himself as he saw her in her Sandy outfit from Greece. "WOW you always blow me away with your radiance" he said to her as she came out of her cabin. It was true that he had always been taken by her but still, someone would have to be blind to not see what was shinning right in front of them. Taking her hand, the two of them went to the party where they said hello to the people already there. Of course the birthday girl Lilythe was looking as cute as ever! Seeing that right as they got to the party, the mysterious Shadow arrived as well. James looked from Azrael to Lilythe back to Shadow as he wondered what might happen at this event.

Seeing that Lilythe wanted Rissa to come to her, he kissed Rissa on the cheek. "Want a drink my love?" he whispered in her ear as he looked at her with an admiring look. Just then the music began to play. He knew at some point he would be dancing with Rissa for sure. Looking up it seemed a few more had joined their numbers. Both the twins had shown up plus willow. "Hey Arsen, good to see you man. You ready for our trip soon?

Killian was all for a party, especially one with his adult beverages he so preferred thanks to daddy! Smiling as he saw Lilythe's reaction. A part of him blushed as he knew it was a small thing he did while he was out in his homeland. "Of course, only the best for you Lilythe!" he said as he watched her take the bottle. Looking back over his shoulder he looked towards Azrael. He was happy to have so many of his good friends all in one place at this time. Killian began to laugh as he made his way towards Azrael. "I mean how do you know if you don't try?" he joked back at him. As he looked around for a stool. Pulling one up he smiled at the drink in front of him that matched his outfit well. "Oh how kind but even if I was a leprechaun I bet James is still more lucky than me." Seeing the devil walk through the door just then with Rissa. The two were followed by Shadow. "Ohhh this should be interesting" he said picking up his glass and draining it in one go.

Looking at Azrael he looked at him "You good mate?" he then leaned in " I got your back if you need in" he looked as Shadow approached Lilythe. Well well well some things never change he thought to himself when the door opened again, but this time it was to his surprise to see Willow walk through the door. She made her way over to lilythe before going to the wall. Turning back to Azzy he sort of had this face of panic. How would be go up and talk to her? He had never found it so hard to talk to a girl in his life. "Another drink my good Az" he said before turning back towards Willow. "Willow come join us over here" he waved her over with his charming smile.

Azrael took the moment to nod about how he was doing "I am doing well" he smiled as Killian mentioned having his back "There will be no trouble from my part, I can swear to it. Though another reason not to try to match you even without your god given right to out last me.." he leaned over himself and lowered his voice "Might want to pull another stool over for the lady" He finished up preparing the Hecate drinks peace offering and asked "So what can i fix for you?" as much as a distraction - he was trying to work himself up to trying to bury the hatchet with the Hecate group.. well more Shadow in particular.

The words he had given came back to him 'will try to find that common ground' he only hoped he could. But for now he could sort these two out with a drink, about the only respite he would have before he would need to get this over with. He left Willow and Killian to settle and waited either for a suitable pause or the need to throw the man a life line. He would at least be able to pitch in and ask her about a drink, Lilythe had made sure there were a good selection, alcoholic and not. He picked up one of the dark glasses and took a sip and had to resist following Killian's example and down the rest of the contents.

This was going to be a long and tough night.....

Shadow, smiled sweetly at Lilythe before pulling away resisting the urge to kiss her, specially after she kissed him upon his cheek. Once he got done greeting his girl, yes he believes she is still his girl, even if it is no long official. He will one day make it official again. Shadow straighten up and walked over to the bar, with a wicked smirk on his face, "Hey guys, look at you leprechaun" he greets Azrael and Killian, who are already starting to drink. "Can I get one of those green looking drinks?" he questions Azrael with as little tone as possible trying to be nice and control his feelings toward him. He seen him whip up the green drink for Killian but didn't catch what he called it.

All Shadow knew was he would not get through this night without some drinks in him. But he needs to be careful how much he consumes, he really doesn't need his drunken mouth getting him in trouble with Lilythe. As he waited for a response, or the drink, either or, he scanned the room locking his eyes on where Lilythe is wanting to keep an eye on her, with her being dressed in such a provocative costume.

Rissa couldn't help but grin at the man in front of her. She had no idea what she would be doing if he hadn't asked her to be with him. Honestly, she didn't want to think about it at all. He was amazing and that was all there was to it. She blushed however when he told her she blew him away. She placed her hand on his chest and lifted up on her tip toes and kissed his lips. "Well, you look amazing yourself." She told him happily.

As they entered the room, she looked around and couldn't help but grin. She was ready for the party all together. She greeted all the others and then she heard Lilythe get excited about them being there. Maybe more about James but she was with James now so she could use some of the excitement about her too. She was all smiles and nodded her head when Lilythe thanked her. "No problem always here for the birthday girl." She grinned but her attention was soon turned to her sister as she walked in. She waved a small wave at her and grinned some. Her attention was once again taken away by her boyfriend this time. Wow, she couldn't get enough of calling him that now. He kissed her cheek and then asked if she wanted a drink and then called her love. She cheesed at him with the biggest smile. "Of course. Anything will do." She told him as she shivered a little when he whispered into her ear.

Lilythe beamed and gave Willow as the girl came up to greet her. Before moving on to the next guests. After all, you didn't tend to get much time with guests at the beginning since everyone wanted to greet you. She was sure she could catch up with the Apollo child later.

Before long Asher and Arsen walked in. Lilythe was very happy to see that they had came. She often felt like ever since her and Shadow had broken up, her relationship with the Hecate cabin wasn't as strong as it used to be. There was, of course, the very real possibility that this was all in her head thanks to her own insecurities and anxieties. Still, she was pleased to see the twins had arrived. Hugging Arsen, she beamed, "I'm so happy you're here!" Her comment was directed at both siblings, even if it seemed only to Arsen since he came in for the hug. Breaking off the hug, she looked at them both. "Your costumes look great!"

As the last of the guests (at least the ones she was aware of) trickled in, Lilythe finally made her way over to the makeshift bar that Azrael had created and smiled. "Shot for the birthday girl, bartender?" She said with a wink. Taking a seat next to Killian and Shadow, Lilythe smiled at the boys. "This is the best birthday I've had in a long while. Thank you!" She let her smile linger a bit longer on both Azrael and Shadow. The fact that they were being amiable had her over the moon.

Azrael nodded over to the recently made up dark moon cocktails, on a tray were four glasses of a dark cocktail, over ice with a swirl of light visible, the pitcher with the last of the mix to one side, there was a space with the ringed outline where the one Azrael sipped from had been. Shadow always had a way of pushing against any gesture, positive or not, and it didn't even seem to be conscious as much as pulled by the fates - if you put one thing in front of him he would pick the opposite. He let out a breath and tried to let it wash over him. his thoughts and words echoing through his mind.. will not seek petty arguments with the man..

1NYYNAA.png

"I pulled together a rum coffee dark blend for the night owl cabin, but I should be able to mix you up another" he held his tongue to not avoid adding eyed to its title. "green monster". It was about that time that Lilythe made her way up to the bar and suggested shots. "once I get this round sorted first though" he said with a smile.

Azrael took the time to count out and setup ten shot glasses, lining them up edge to edge across the bar in front of them ready to pour into. He thought through the various options to pull from the assortment, something simple spirit, maybe the spectacle of some sambuca with the coffee beans, some kind of mixed shot of flavours. But he had been slowly learning to let Lithe make her own decisions so made sure as to give her the choice..

He spoke up loudly as the latest song faded form the radio "Shots all round for the lady of the hour! What are we pouring?" he asked Lilythe expectantly..

Shadow gave a small smirk toward Azrael, "Thanks man" he says hesitantly. Shadow could tell that Azrael was in the same boat in a similar meaning of the just not wanting to deal with him, just as he did not want to deal with Azrael. As much as both mean disliked each other, they both had one thing in common Lilythe. She was the only reason Shadow was at this party, and he was honestly hoping he could get Lilythe alone for a few minutes, with a small trick up his sleeve, he knew he couldn't do his mist control on her around other people. Well he could but it would take a lot more concentration to make sure that no one noticed anything strange, especially with some of his siblings here.

Shadow was brought out of his head when Lilythe sat down beside him and Killian, smiling big "Thank you for inviting me birthday girl! and might I say you look absolutely stunning, bartender boy here better find himself pretty lucky" he says with a glare over to Azrael.

Azrael  looked up at Shadow as he mentioned him.. maybe not by name but at least by role. He smiled at the comment, sure they hadn't made any commitments, anything as they went but he felt that connection with her, be he would never have expected Shadow of all people to acknowledge that. Maybe it was like Liliythe had tried to tell him, he had turned over a new leaf and was looking at a fresh start at the camp. Who knows maybe they could find anything beyond the birthday girl to agree on one day. "Maybe some time around the son of the luck goddess" looking over at James with Larissa "or just the luck of the continental fey" smiling at Killian "But I don't think I could be more fortunate at the moment" Seeing Liliythe giving her customary smirk and the comment of "bartenders choice", Azrael moved to start the drinks flowing.

Azrael pulled a small handful of coffee beans and dropped a couple in loosely along the line of large shot glasses.. he then turned and took a bottle of Sambuca from behind the bar twisting the lid off and away. He took the time to run bottle across the run of glasses limiting the spills but making sure the spectacle was impressive. The main part of the act was to run a lit burner torch over the top of the row, setting each on fire with a small blue flame. He hoped he had timed this just about right and if so this would be the least of the spectacles, he had always known Vee @ Vienna Pimm  loved to make a big entrance - maybe he could set the scene...

He took the time to distribute the ten glasses among the nine of them at the party, one solitary flaming glass left on the counter.

"A toast!" he said raising the faming shot up for dramatic purposes "For the friends we value and keep around us, those who have fallen along the way and the ones that are out there fighting the good fight." he looked down at the lone shot glass "..but most to the lady of the hour, the heart of the camp, Miss Lilythe Rayne!" as he finished up speaking he made sure all could see to put a hand over to snuff out the flame first before taking the shot, the heavy anise taste hitting hard and then chewing on the coffee bean from the bottom.

Vienna approached the hall with her usual grace and charm. That is to say, she was managing to make her way toward it without too much swaying from the combination of pregaming and stilettos. It felt like it had been a million years since she'd last set foot in Camp Half-Blood. And there was good reason for that. Everywhere she looked, memories came flooding back. Some good, some horrifically bad - all tainted by the battles she'd faced on these grounds. Vi shook her head, feeling the pinned-on cat ears tug back against her hair. She wasn't here for herself. It didn't matter how this place made her feel, or what memories it brought back. That was all stuff she'd deal with eventually. Right now, she was here for Lilythe.

Lilythe was her best friend in the entire world. Vee would fight for her, she'd kill for her... and she would return to camp complete with stereotypical sexy catgirl outfit for her. It wasn't even a question. Still, as she made her way past all the old haunts, a thought did pervade her mind. I need a drink.

Thankfully, it seemed their old friend Azrael was way ahead of her on that one. When she entered the party, all eyes were on him and his flaming shot.  It seemed he'd already been plying both the crowd and the birthday girl with alcohol. Perfect, she thought. Time to make my entrance. With catlike grace (or as much grace as a drunk girl in heels could muster), she crept up behind the  birthday girl. Giving Azzy a wink, she reached forward and covered Lilythe's eyes. Just as he downed his shot, she proclaimed loudly - "GUESS WHO!?!"

It didn't take a genius to know that Arsen had stepped into something that he wasn't quite sure he could make sense of. He didn't normally walk into other people's drama. He had enough of his own but he would be lying if he said he didn't like to watch the drama ensue. Preferably over some drinks and with someone he could make commentary with. It was then that he turned his attention towards James and lost focus on what the birthday girl was going through with two other guys? Three? Honestly, he was assuming a lot and hadn't exactly put two and two together. "Oh yes. I got us the tickets already. Come by my cabin later and I'll give you the ticket. I booked us the first direct flight to Barcelona from New York. We are staying a couple of nights there, then off to wherever you want. I have no issues. Just pick a place." Then, before James could reply, Arsen turned to look at one of the cabin leaders and his speech. He was terrible with names, even if perhaps he should have known them by now. It was a shame he didn't have a drink ready for the toast. "Oh yes! Happy birthday, Lilythe!" He added regardless.

Shadow, smiled as he watched Lilythe for her reactions toward Azrael's speech. It was pretty good, but Shadow really didn't care what Azrael had to say he just needed to pretend like it. Having a poker face was one of Shadows best things about him, while in his mind it was anyways. Other's hated the fact that they could never tell what he was thinking, or feeling. Lilythe was probably one of the only campers that could see through his poker face. On great note, his comment didn't piss Azrael off, and he even seemed slightly better with him then before. Maybe he is coming off the way he needed to. Last thing he needed was for this guy to figure out what he was really up too.

Shadow grabbed a shot, as Azrael finished his speech, Shadow put the fire out and downed the shot just in time to hear the one voice he did not want to hear. Setting the shot down, and looking over at Lilythe, who now has hands over her eyes. Shadow gave a small growl, low enough the music hide, it but he was not expecting HER! That was the last thing he needed, how was he suppose to do anything with Vee around. This was going to put a pinch in his plans, but just meant to become more creative. "Cheers to the birthday girl!" he hollers his toast.

James smiled at Rissa as she told him she wanted anything. Nodding he knew what to get her then. Turned he saw Arsen and Asher join the group, happy to see his favorite twins. He called out to Arsen about their trip, which he was getting so excited about. Lilythe then gave her speech which everyone wished her a happy birthday but then he turned back to Arsen.  "Wow Arsen, thank you for doing all that. I will start thinking of where I want to go next then. We are going to have a blast my friend" he said with the wild smile on his face. The thought of adventure was thrilling to him, plus having a travel buddy to go off on these adventures made it even better. This would be good time with Arsen that he would enjoy. The two of them went way back, as they had gotten claimed around the same time.

That was when Vi showed up "VI you are back" he said excitedly!!! Man this party was one to remember for sure as all his friends were there. It sort of made him feel very sentimental as it had been some time when all of them were together again. Walking to the bar he smiled at Azrael and then looked to Shadow. Nodding to Shadow before he looked to Azrael who was passing out shot for the toast. Taking two he then brought one back to Rissa.
