Site Plot Related The Claiming Spring 2022

[The Chronicler]

As the sun sets, the campers begin to make their way down to the bonfire. At the beginning of every season now, it's almost like a ritual. All the new campers get claimed by their parent if the child is 13. Even some of the younger children get claimed from time to time. Nobody wants to miss a chance to welcome a new member to their cabin, or to find out where those particularly interesting individuals go. And so it was in that spring like many springs before it. The claiming.

[Savanna Lewis]

The claiming. It was something that she couldn't wait for. she had been new herself, not that long ago and of course, she had been nervous about it as well. But finding out that her father was the god of sleep kind of made things better. It made her understand a lot more. Which was always a good thing. However, at the moment, she was hanging with brother and sisters just waiting to see what all happened at this spring event. She wanted to see the new campers and where they got placed. She sung with the rest of the group when they did and yawned a couple times. She had to wonder if she was going to get a brother or sister in this group. She casted a glance over to the new campers and looked at them curiously. What were they thinking at the moment?

[Dustin Graves Rare]

He had been here for a while and of course, he was always curious to see where the new kids would land at. Honestly, he was more curious about the kids that he helped out mostly. Maybe they would be one of his siblings. They could be someone that he could teach. He liked that idea. He grinned as he sang along with the rest of the group, even playing around with his brothers here and there. See the Ares kids couldn't help but do that sometimes. The cabin was in high hopes of having a new sibling. He couldn't wait to see what the night brought him. He glanced around the bon fire and spotted Krystal there with her siblings. He couldn't help but grin. They were a thing now, and the best of all, he had told her that he loved her more than anything. He waved her over and waited for her to come over and stand by him. Once she did, he couldn't help but kiss her forehead and wrap his arms around her. "You're mine." he muttered into her hair.

[Octavia Davis Rare]

Octavia was dancing around the bon fire while her brother played the songs with the Apollo camper. She couldn't help but laugh and giggle. She had been one of the younger campers that were claimed. She was only nine at the moment, so it really changed things, or so she thought at least. She ran to her siblings and lifted up her hands to one of her older brothers and giggled when he lifted her up and placed her on his shoulders. "WEEEE!" She said as she giggled more looking around the camp. There was so much to be happy about. The new campers might be finding out who their parents were. What wouldn't be better than that. She sang as loud as she could. because her brother James' girlfriend had taught her some of the songs that they were going to sing. Her hands wrapped around her brother's head and she sunk down a little putting her head on his. 

[Mateo Sanz Rare]

Things had gone a little differently than he had expected them to go. He had very fine set of rules that he normally went by but now they were all throw out the window because he was stupid and had to fall in love with someone else. What was he going to do with himself at this point? Nothing. he was going to do nothing at thing point. He was going to sit there and be happy about it. Happy that someone wanted him for him and she wasn't some crazy person that was trying to ruin his life at the moment. He sighed for a second before he wrapped his arms around Lena. There was something different about her but he hadn't known what it was and he was a little curious to find out. She seemed happy though. So that was all that mattered. He didn't sing the songs that were being sung, he just nodded his head and went a long with everything that was going on. The new campers were going to get claimed tonight, so there was that. He placed his chin on Lena's head and sighed a little more. This was going to be a long night. 

[Larissa Souza Rare]

Rissa was singing her heart out, as she beat on the box that she was sitting on. Her eyes were glued to the one man in the crowd that made her heart skip a beat. She couldn't believe that they were finally a thing, and she was happy about it. No more Kyle to worry about. No more nothing. She was on cloud nine at that moment and she didn't want to hop off it anytime soon. She giggled as she watched Octavia dance around and sing. They had, had a bonding moment when she had taught her the words to the songs that they normally sung. She shook her head and glanced over to the newcomers and wandered if one of them would be her new sibling. She couldn't help but be curious. There were a lot of Apollo children around the world. So, she couldn't help but be excited about it. 

[Gael Masterson]

Now, normally this wasn't his type of thing, but he was curious about rather or not there were going to be other children like him. The misfits of the bunch. The ones that didn't really have a cabin at the moment but were sitting with the Hermes children. Gael glanced around the camp fire looking for the newcomers and raised an eyebrow. There wasn't none that looked like him so he was curious to see if there was going to be one. If not that was okay, but he secretly wanted a brother or even a sister would do. He clapped his hands as he looked for a familiar red head girl. He found her over near her siblings and he smirked. Maybe after this they could catch up a little. 

[Kendall Ray]

Kendall was with her siblings at the moment. Having a good time. She had forgotten what it was like to be at the bon fire waiting for the children to get claimed. She wondered if any of them were going to be coming to her cabin. She couldn't help but look at them and smile. She might be a little crazy but she loved her siblings a little more. She danced around with one of her brothers and laughed as she watched his face turn red. There was nothing she liked more. Okay that was a lie. There was but this wasn't the point at the moment. She stopped dancing with one of her favorite songs started playing and she began singing to it as loud as she could. Her eyes glanced around to find anyone. There were a ton of people out there tonight. All having a blast. 

[Maddox Grimes Rare]

Mad didn't know what was happening but there were plenty of people that were singing and dancing around the place. He was curious to know what was going to happen. Where they trying to make the gods appear or something. They looked a little crazy to him. He glanced over to his brother and scooted closer to him. There was no way that this was happening. The Lilythe person must be crazy. He didn't want to know who his father was. He only cared about his mother, and she was long gone by now. Dead. He shook his head a little and looked at his brother again. "This is crazy." he said as he glanced around the place. He noticed a couple of campers rough housing and he felt himself loosen up a little. He could do that, though the dancing and singing was starting to get to him. He gave his brother another look and sighed hard. What were they going to do. 

[Krystal Rose]

Krystal had shown up to the bon fire with her sister Mk. When they got there, campers were already singing songs, and dancing. She smiled at MK as she pulled her over to where the rest of their siblings were, and she started to dance to the music. Swaying her hips, she song along to one of her favorite songs, grabbing at MK to get her to dance along. She always loved coming to the bon fire, it was really the only time that everyone from the camp was there, all having such a good time. Being cabin leader of her cabin, she was always so excited in hopes that some of the new campers that get claimed might end up one of her new siblings. It wasn't always the case of course, sometimes the new campers don't even get claimed right away, and most of the newest campers haven't been children of Nike. She didn't let that get her down though, she was still happy for all the new campers and ready to welcome to the camp, no matter whose child they might be. 

Krystal had felt eyes on her, when see looked up and locked eyes with Dustin. Her face felt like it could break she was smiling so big, her heart was full again and she couldn't be happier to have the love of her life back. When he beckoned her over, she didn't think twice, leaning into MK's ear "I'm going to go see Dustin" she said and took off for him. Once she was in reach, he wrapped his arms around her and she followed suit, wrapping her arms around him and then snuggled into his chest. She could feel the chills go down her face as she heard the words he spoke, and she couldn't help but left up on her tip toes and place a soft kiss on his lips, whispering "forever" with a smile.

[Andralyn O'Dell]

Andralyn was so ready for tonight's bon fire, she loved going and just having a fun time. When she got there, she looked around for her siblings, skipping over to them. They were all singing and having a good time with each other. Andralyn didn't really care for the singing, but she loved to dance. She joined in with a couple of her siblings, dancing to the music. She wasn't too fond of the song playing though. As she danced she chatted with one of her brothers, he was carrying around our youngest sister Octavia, who looked really cute resting her head on the top of his. She loved her siblings, and hoped that maybe some of the new campers that have showed up might be more siblings that they can welcome into their cabin. 

Starting to get curious as more and more campers showed up, she started to look around seeing if she could spot Gael, or even Theo, she liked them both a lot. When her eyes spotted Gael who happened to notice her, she decided she would go say hi. Skipping over to him, she wrapped her arms around him and gave him a quick hug, smiling "how are you doing? ready for tonight's bon fire?" she questioned him as she stepped back from the hug.

[Mason Grimes]

Mason and his brother were sitting and watching the craziness unfold around them. Mason was a little amused but also overwhelmed, feeling his brother scoot closer toward him, he knew his brother was feeling the same way. He gave him a small smile, as he staired at the other campers all singing and dancing. The music sounded interesting, it wasn't awful, just new and strange to him. Maddox made the comment that this was crazy, snapping him out of his head "Ya, it is! I don't understand what is so exciting" he said with a sigh. He didn't know if him and his brother were going to be claimed at this bon fire, but it still had his stomach in knots, he didn't know how he felt about the hole being claimed by his father thing. On one hand he was actually kind of excited to think that his father is a God, but on the other hand he is mad that this so called God left his mother to raise us on her own, and then was no where to be found when she passed away, like he didn't care at all, which is what made his stomach knot up even more. If this guy didn't care, why did he need to claim us, we aren't his as for as Mason was concerned. 

Mason looked at his brother with a frown "How do you feel about this whole claiming thing?" he questioned him with a concern in his eyes.

[Levi Jones Rare]

Levi loved going to the bon fire, it was one of his favorite things to do. All the girls at camp would be gathered around dancing, best view at camp. But this bon fire was different for Levi. He wasn't going there to look at all the girls, he wanted to find the one girl that he hasn't been able to get off his mind, that he ranted about to Mateo....McKayla. He still hasn't really told her how he feels, and he knows he should, but part of him doesn't want to. Levi doesn't want to admit that he is falling for her, that would mean an ends to his fun. Although, his fun was already ending because he couldn't seem to care about the other girls at the camp, he just wanted McKayla. 

When Levi got to the bon fire, he spotted Mateo first, who was being all lovey-dovey with Helena. Walking up behind him he patted his shoulder and smiled "Hey Bro" he said with a smile as he looked around trying to find MK. When he finally found her in the crowed of campers, he smiled and made a bee line straight for her, she hadn't even realized that he was there yet, which was perfect for him. Sneaking up behind her as she dance, he put his hands onto her hips and leaned down to whisper into her ear "Hey Beautiful".

[Julia Dutkiewicz]

Julia was so excited this was her first bon fire as an official claimed camper herself. She couldn't wait to see what would happen, as she got there, a bunch of a campers were already dancing and singing, and she couldn't help but join in, she didn't know the songs but that didn't stop her from trying to sing along. Dancing around she made her way toward her siblings, enjoying her time. Looking around at the newest campers, she wandered if any of them would be a new sibling of hers, which put a huge smile on her face at the thought of getting more siblings. 

As she looked around, she spotted two boy's sitting by themselves, she knew they were some of the newest campers and she decided to go great them. Moving over to them she smiled when she realized they were twins "Hi! I'm Julia, why don't you guys get up and dance, have some fun!" she exclaimed smiling at them.

[Shadow Moore]

Shadow wasn't all to excited about the bon fire, he honestly could care less about it. His mind was too focused on Lilythe, who as being a camp leader, was usually the one to host the bon fire and get things started. She was the only reason he came out tonight. Sneaking up behind Lilythe he smiled as he wrapped his arms around her, giving her a small peck on the cheek. "Hi Babygirl" he whispered into her ear. As Lilythe started showing more and more interest in him, making him realize that his magic was working, it made him become more and more brave around the campers to show her affection. Letting her go, he found a log to sit down at that was off out of the way of all the other campers dancing and singing. Relaxing into it as he watched Lilythe and waited to see if any of the new campers would get claimed. 

[Akemi Lancaster Rare]

Why, oh why, was she here again? To give her support? To be social again? She had enough of that at the volleyball game; and now there was another one? Yet, here she was. In the shadows as always, remaining unseen. Her brothers seemed to be here. Shadow, and Mateo-- as she realized something. She hadn't spoken to them directly; the only two siblings she spoke to were Loukas, and Asher. And the only friends she had truly made, were her brother's girlfriend... and someone who she didn't even speak to unless in private. 

As everyone sung, she just listened to all their voices, trying to pick and see who's tones were whose, while making a cat's cradle with some shadow tendrils, looking down at her feet as she sat, letting her hair fall over her eyes a bit. Yeah, these gatherings weren't for her, but if it was an opportunity to see some drama again, Akemi came running in response to that thought. Yet now, she felt awkward and out of place. Everyone had someone. Yet, she looked like such a party pooper alone.

To distract herself, she played mental bingo, trying to spot all the couples she knew existed in the camp, while still making that cat's cradle with her fingers. 

[Dawn De La Vega]

Singing cheerfully, Dawn paused to take a breath before sitting back, recovering from the night's events as she sat on her log. Brightly dressed as always, she wore her camp t-shirt over such an outfit, to do her part of showing camp spirit! Well, that and she wanted to add some color to her clothing. Despite not seeing her friends or siblings present, she was here anyway, and happy to participate as such in the activities! But looking around, she saw a mixed crowd. Some hang off to the sides, many were singing, and a lot of people seemed to be present as... were those COUPLES she saw? Ahh, love. Something she never really thought about!
 

It didn't seem necessary to her at all at the moment either. If it came, it came. If it didn't... she had her plants for company! The thought made her feel rather happy, as she played with some of the sprouts in the grass, making them bloom and humming along to the song still. Quieter now, she was a bit worn out. 

[Elijah Quinn Rare]

Elijah loved going to the bonfires every night and this one is no exception. It would be his chance for him and his siblings to play some of their tunes, sing campfire songs, roast marshmallows, and have a good time. And even then, he wanted to see the new munchkins who had came recently. He heard it was supposed to be a pair of twins, siblings, and one other camper. He was certain that one of them got claimed already, thanks to the word of mouth, but he'd never know until he'd met them in person. The child of Apollo left his cabin with his guitar case slung over his shoulder, giving it a pat as he walked towards the light source of the lodging area. One of the campers nearby he already recognized, Rissa, who seemed to be in a happy mood as much as he is. He waved to her from afar but just as he was about to approach her, he saw a familiar shadow nearby. It couldn't be...?

He looked at the person. It was her. He then waved to her without hesitating, a soft smile tugging on the corners of his lips. Knowing her, she'd avoid him as easy as he'd approach her... but he'll do just that later on. 

[James Selway Rare Rare Rare]

James had a feeling that tonight was one of those nights that would change things. Maybe it was due to things going on around the camp or even just the fact that some campers were waiting to get claimed tonight. But either way he made it to the bonfire which was filled with campers. Once he did, James started playing the guitar with other apollo campers as Octavia danced. This made his heart feel so warm but it got even warmer when he looked up at his girlfriend Rissa. The way the fire light bounced off her skin made him smile more as her beauty was something else. Happy to see so many here tonight he began to wonder what else might happen. As the song came to an end he got up to go over to kiss Rissa on the cheek. His younger sister Andralyn talking to her friends. 

[McKayla Johnson]

Happy to be back at camp, MK got dressed in one of the dressed that her sister Krystal and her picked out in NYC. It was a lot of fun the two of them bonding which was a total changed from last year. If you would have asked her what she thought of Krystal, a look of disgust would come out of her so fast!!! But then the break up happened and now she realized her sister was trying to be on the same team the whole time. As the music played the two sisters were having a good time with their cabin.  "Okay have fun" she giggled as her sister made her way to Dustin. Looking over at her and Dustin, made her smile as she saw how much the two of them were in love. The word was content of how she felt. 

In her summer dress, her long brown hair were in long curls flowing down her arms. MK was watching those dancing. Her thoughts on if she would get to see Levi or not. I mean his best friend Mateo was here so he might show up. That was when someone came up from behind and wrapped their arms around her hips calling her beautiful. She knew that voice from anywhere!!!!! Her face turning to see him "Hey there sexy" the look on her face was one of excitement as her heart began to race. Feeling his arms around her just felt so right.

 

[Derrick Raines]

Derrick was going with his cabin to the bonfire. His gaze was searching for Azrael as if he was a security blanket but no such luck yet. Frowning he waited until he got to the bonfire when he smiled again. It was Octavia who was dancing to her older brothers music that got him happy again. He was close to her as the two had become good friends. Derrick went up to start dancing as well as the music was a lot of fun. That was when his eyes fell on Julia, the girl he accidently got food on. Looking away quickly he hoped she wouldn't see him! Dancing he felt like he was back at school in one of his PE classes. 

[Kenna Rhys]

Kenna was coming to the bonfire with her siblings as always. It had almost been a year since she got to camp which felt like such a long time ago. But anyways she had finished working on a sword when they said it was time to clean up. Looking in the mirror she noticed that she was pretty gross with grease all over her. Cleaning up she then got to the bonfire which was in full swing of things with music and such. Looking up at Kendall who was dancing with her brother. This made her giggle as her eyes went to see Savanna there as well as Julia. Both had been such good friends of hers since she got here. That was when she snuck over to Savanna to talk to her "Heyy" she said as she giggled at the yawn her friend did.

[Dahlia Wakabayashi]

Dahlia had been baking a bit too long when she realized it was time for the bonfire. "DRAT" she said as she pulled her cake out of the oven, turned it off  and then rushed to get to the bonfire. It was so bright that she could see it from a distance aways. Getting closer it was pretty lively as she looked to find her siblings. Happy to see Dawn, she made a bee line for her as she stopped beside her. "I almost lost track of time" a giggle escaped from her mouth. "Soooooo do you think we will get any siblings tonight" her eyes went around to see Gael talking to Andralyn. Then seeing Elijah as well. The music was so much fun she began to dance in her own little spot, swaying back and forth as her hands did a dance in the air. 

[Killian O'Connor]

Killian was doing great as had been hanging with Vienna more and more. It was great having his older sister back as he tried to be around his family more. The bonfire was something he always looked forward to as he went with the cabin towards the place where the music was happening. With a jolly smile on his face he knew that he would want to dance when he got there as it seemed like a go happen place. When they arrived he noticed that wee Octavia was dancing in the middle which he clapped along with the music James had been playing. Getting out there himself, he was dancing around the bonfire which made him laugh more than ever. Then stopping he applauded the music when it came to an end. 

[Sage Roberts]

Sage was spending more and more time with Loukas these days. I mean granted before they had always been with each other but it was different now. The two of them had been going on dates which were going well. Hopefully it would stay that way as she would be devastated to lose him. As the two were hand in hand. They were taking a walk around the lake when it was time for the bonfire. As they got there the two began to watch the group dancing with the music playing. Pulling his hand, she made her way over to Akemi. "Hello there" she said to her with a smirk. That was when her eyes fellow on the most EVIL AND VILE MAN ALIVE......SHADOW MOORE!!!! The glare she gave him when he approach Lilythe was one that could kill if she had that ability. Her hatred for the man was one most did not get. Turning back to Akemi she grinned "Anything interesting going on?"
